Used king cross fisheries for many years. This will be last time chips are fine but the fish awful burnt and dry. Favourite meal and rather disappointed

Order from here most weeks usually lovely but today's was rather disappointing the fish and chips were only just slightly warm.

Good food , bang on time and a couple of complimentary items which were very much appreciated. Might have awarded 5 stars for quality if the food had been hotter. Will use again.

Delicious English fish and chips, enjoyed so much and will order again while I'm here from Canada.

Food is usually bang on, not this time though. The whole underside of my fish batter was black burnt, its either been sat on a hotplate or under a lamp to have just one side as cremeted, the fish was dry because of this, also missing tea cake from the order. Every other item was cooked fine and tasty

Unfortunately the food wasnt good the chips were undercooked the fish was soggy and the batter was too thick in places. The scallop was overcooked and the fish tasted funny and the scraps were missing that u have to pay for i wont be ordering again s

I will not be ordering from here again I contracted dysentery and got really ill. Absolutely disgusting as it put my pregnancy at risk. This place needs a good clean and better hygiene.

ordered and 2 items were missing, food was hot when arrived but unhappy with paying for items that didn't receive (wouldn't of minded a few quid but over £13 worth isn't good).

Despite the Delivery Driver having trouble finding my House it did arrive the Food was Great the Portion was more than ample all around a good experience thank you.

The food arrived, and after having opened the bag and food, we found a dead fly inside the wrapping paper on the food. A shame, as we have never had any problems with anything here before.

Usually have no problems but on this occasion the driver took ages to deliver, he was at another delivery for ages on the map. Food was cold and chips turned hard because of this, and the fish butty was all squashed, shocked tbh as it’s my fave chippy! Just eat won’t help. Not chippys fault.

Disgusting customer service, order did not come as expected. Paid for something I didn’t receive, phoned the restaurant to complain. Manager was condescending and hung up on the phone after telling me he will not send me my order.

Fish in butty was so thin it was crisp and barely edible , the breaded fish cake was far nicer to eat , never had a problem before but I’ll maybe not order again

The chip shop has a three star hygiene rating. (As of march 2024) Try mother Hubbards over the road . Much better.

Sadly had to wait over 30 minutes to be served due to the number of Fast Food orders for the delivery drivers to collect. Please consider giving priority to walk in customers. Staff trying their best with the demand of constant online orders and walk in customers.

two curry sauce and a pie the pie was frozen solid chips and sausages with lukewarm curry sauce was lumpy and thick

The food was awful, some of it tasted like it was hated up again and again. The fish wasn’t cooked in the middle either.

The inflated prices plus ‘service charge’ plus ‘bag charge’ then plus delivery wasn’t bad when the portions were good but past 2 times the portion of chips in the box was very small. Used to be a great place for portions and I gave it benefit of the doubt last time but same again this order.

There was plenty in the order but im sorry, the fish was the worst id ever had.There was hardly any batter on it and what was there was soggy and almost pastelike. Maybe the oil wasn't hot enough but for what the charge, they should make the effort.

food was cold, no teacake even though i ordered one and the gravy was that lumpy it wasnt even edible, the only part that was up to standards was the 2 free scollops which were kindly given to us.

Cold drink in the same bag as hot food, so warmed up. Delivery planned for 1750-1815 but arrived 1830 with no text sent that there was a delay with the order

Majority of my order was missing and some items replaced with chips “sigh” quality of chips were terrible, soggy and undercooked.

One of items curry sauce was lost as the lid wasn’t on properly,when I open the bag the curry was all over the place making it difficult to get to the rest of the things ,Messy!!

I have ulcerated colitis I am just recovoring from sepsis after having hodkins lymphoma cancer we used this resturant November 20.22 but this time the potatoes in the fish cake uncooked and VERY cold I told the resturant on the order my food has to be piping hot because after having hodkins lymphoma stage 4 and ulcerated colitis and sepsis I am so disappointed regards Michelle and Keith Wood

Never received the order - something which is happening all too often now with Just Eat. Feel sorry for the restaurants/takeaways being let down like this.

I usually love king cross fisheries but this time round was horrible, the fish was dry and tough and looked like half had been eaten before it got here, disappointed to say the least.
