Two ladies having lunch midweek. The cafe was fairly busy and filled up quickly. We both had toasties which were very tasty and well presented.
We shared a bowl of home cooked piping hot chips.
Excellent food.
Carolynne, took our order and served the food, she was so welcoming, chatty and proficient.
We didnt feel rushed whatsoever, lovely atmosphere too.
We are going again soon and will book this time to make sure we dont miss out.
Thank you The Cafe Bar
Marco never fails to impress. I'm gluten free and he makes the best gluten free pizza that I've ever had. Decent sizes as well. Always a welcoming place! Thank you
We went there for dinner on Christmas day (again). The food was absolutely first class and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Bobs tearoom is always marvellous. Very beautiful walk to get there no matter where you come from and the drinks and cakes are always well worth the walk. A local hidden gem.
First time was aiming for cafe around the cornor but closed so browsed this cafe.. Stumbled accross shangrila!! As a meat eater didn't realise the place was vegitarian but I really enjoyed a fantastic sandwich, cakes to die for and great selection. A new venue for us to come to!!
Try it out it is great
Well what a meal! Having been here a couple of times now for lunch and having had great food we decided to try the pop up event and my goodness this did not disappoint! 7 courses of delicious, beautifully presented food served with a smile in a warm, cosy and friendly setting. Being able to bring your own alcohol meant we could drink wine we liked at a cost that we chose and the whole meal was just fantastic. From the very unique tomato “soup” to the melt in the mouth belly pork and finished with the coffee jelly cocktail it was simply devine. We will most definitely be back - if we can get a table! Almost don’t want other people to know how good it is here.
This is a brilliant warm and friendly restaurant. The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent and the food was superb. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.
Just been to valley pizza staff are amazing, pizzas are so tasty and cooked to perfection, I asked for half and half pizzas but got two pizzas for price of one. Also selection of drinks was rey good. Would recommend to vegan, vegetarian or meat eaters!
A group of 5 popped in for cups of tea. The place looks really inviting and the staff were nice and friendly. There didn't seem to be much of a system going on, just chaos. It wasn't overly busy but we had a long wait. When it came it was luke warm.
Gios had been recommended to us so we decided to book in and give it a go. Soon as we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. A lovely authentic italian restaurant. Very big inside.
As a family of 4 we had starters mains and deserts. The food was amazing and so tasty. We tried pasta and chicken dishes which were all superb. The puddings are also homemade. Staff are really helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this place and will be rebooking. Gios is a 10/10.
