Lovely cafe with nice surroundings, the food was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and efficient, especially the lovely lady Carolynne that served us. We will be back!

Fabulous Italian tucked away next to the weir. Gorgeous lunch and superb value for money. Absolutely gem. Seek it out away from the tourist spots.

Dined here tonight on the early bird menu! Lovely food, two courses for £19. Staff were really pleasant and efficient. Food arrived shortly after ordering and was hot and tasted great. Would definitely recommend and return.

Been a couple of times and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. I had the lobster ravioli and it was totally delicious. My husband had meatballs and a pizza and he was very happy with them both. The waiter was lovely and the service was excellent. Can’t fault this place and looking forward to returning

Bobs tearoom is always marvellous. Very beautiful walk to get there no matter where you come from and the drinks and cakes are always well worth the walk. A local hidden gem.

Just popped in for a coffee and it was very good. The menu looked interesting and all the staff were lovely and welcoming.

Nice people and food but it was way too loud and when I've tried to go on days that the website said it was open it was closed.

I have been to Freddie’s a few times and the food is amazing. I came today for lunch on my own and had the Big Fac, OMG it was amazing. So tasty and good value for money. Would highly recommend.

An excellent stop off as we cross the M62 in our motorhome. Ali and the staff made us feel very welcome at this motorhome stopover. The service was first class. A lot of work has clearly gone into reopening this magnificent old inn as an Indian restaurant. It is right up on the top of Pennines as you cross from Lancashire to Yorkshire, between Saddleworth and Rishworth Moor. The food was first class and quite unexpected in this very remote location.

Wow! Came here for a working lunch and sat upstairs with my colleague. What a place this is! The food was absolutely delicious, best chips I’ve ever had. Lovely staff. Love the decor. I’m vegan and I had different options on the menu which doesn’t happen often enough. 100% recommend.

Excellent five-course dinner (appetiser, starter, main, dessert, cheese). Fixed menu changes regularly (vegetarian alternatives available, though we didn't sample these). All dishes are inventive but without gimmicks. Good and reasonably priced wines to accompany. Friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. Lovely atmosphere, candle-lit and informal. Crockery as well as food is home-made. Thoroughy recommended.

Went there to meet friends for a catch up. Ask to eat upstairs if you can, there’s more tables up there so the atmosphere’s better. I had the spicy meatballs to start that were really tasty, Wifey had salt and pepper calamari tempura to start followed by a calzone pizza which was huge, she couldn’t finish it. I had sea bass and king prawns for mains. Lots of prawns, shells were split butterflied so were easy to eat. Excellent food and worth the price. Menabria Italian lager on draught was nice too. All in all we feel like we’ve found a regular spot to go to. Pity we’re not that local to it but we’ll def go again.
