Has closed now an Italian restaurant. Sad. The place was always very quiet but good very good and value

First time visiting. Had a lovely lunch here today with the family celebrating a couple of birthdays. The staff were great and food delicious. Will definitely go back ☺️

Excellent customer service today. Staff member (correctly) realised that my beer might not be the freshest and replaced it with one from a fresh barrel. Loved the general ambiance as well.

Absolutely love Meze and it’s our ‘go to’ for a group meal or a family gathering. The food is delicious, especially the seafood dishes which I dream about! The service is always good and an excellent range of gluten free starters and mains. The only criticism is that I wish they had gluten free desserts (you could easily batch bake some gf brownies and freeze/ defrost ?) , and sometimes when in a large group we are rushed off within two hours which isn’t enough (over Christmas, despite ordering swiftly, by the time it came to ordering desserts they wanted the table back in ten minutes). Still love the restaurant though, and will be back repeatedly.

We had the mixed grill each. Very disappointed at how tiny the portion was for a £20 dish! The menu also said it included lamb chops but there was only one. Still hungry after I'd finished. Plain but tasted good, what there was of it.

We used to go when you ran Stubbing Wharf went for years food always excellent loved your chunky chips,everything else,when we heard you were moving to Robin Hood we waited for the date you were opening,we have been going ever since. The two for £20 is excellent value,so is the rest of the menu.

Not recommended if you’re minority, feeling a bit discrimination, only white people get served first, such a disappointed experience

The food was really good but so expensive. A fillet (which was brilliant) plus veg and potatoes at nearly £50 is a ridiculous price to pay. Won’t be eating there again at these silly prices. They really do need a price review if they wish to keep the restaurant open in the near future!

Food was nice especially the Nan bread BUT they advertise a special deal-£9-95. When you get in they tell you it’s no longer available despite there doing a huge sign outside as you enter! Either do the deal or remove the sign!

Haven't been here in several years, went yesterday with family, seated in round baquette, happy with it, right near serving hatch. We had Dare to share, 3 starters, £9.95 we all ordered butterfly chicken with different sides, we all agreed the chicken was cooked perfectly, they have it down to a fine art. Absolutely no complaints, we were all well satisfied. Server, nice young man, well worth tipping him
