Really good visit, just what we wanted. My driving license disappeared on our trip, what a surprise when it arrived through the post a few days later. I'd dropped it in this cafe and the kind staff posted it back to me. Many thanks.

Was out Saturday morning with the lads cycling . Had a really nice breakfast at rendezvous it was really nice was happy they did tinned tomatoes on the breakfast. And the price was really good two all around A star

Order a cheese N tune toastie it came with salad n chips, all my amazing, chips nice N light, toastie was filling toast was light not hard. Hot chocolate is very nice. Nice N kind and helpful staff.

This is a lovely cafe that does a delicious All Day Full English breakfast. We both had a large, but you can get a small one. I would definitely go again. I did notice they do a Turkish breakfast, too. Dogs are allowed in the cafe.

Lovely place to get some lunch, we got in just before kitchen closed and the food was as fresh as when the kitchen would have opened, service was brilliant, we were served by a lovely young lady with red hair in a pony tail, I didn’t catch her name. We did have a small issue with two drinks not being brought out but was resolved quickly so not an issue at all

Decent breakfast but had to wait for over 30 mins as our order seemed to be forgotten.

We visited this bistro today. There was 7 of us on a day out. We went in and the owner put two tables together for us, no problem at all. We were given menus and we preceeded to order. The food and the drinks were served very quickly and efficiently. The food came and it was nicely presented, hot and plenty of it. (sorry forgot to take pics.) The bistro was lovely atmosphere, nicely decorated and felt homely. The menu choice was a good variety and the prices was very reasonable. Apparently the Lady owner has only had the bistro since April and I personally think she was doing a sterling job. Well worth a visit when in Hebden Bridge. Had breakfast after passing past so many times. Service was slow, almost a 40 min wait but the food was good but 5 mins later we would have had to leave hungry as a due to an appointment. Will though give it another chance.

A bright spot during a very rainy day! It was such a classic fry-up, and the portion sizes were whopping <3

We stopped here for lunch and saw Steak Canadien on the specials menu. Expecting a thin slice of proper steak, we were disappointed to find 2 slices of what could only be described as ‘reconstituted, compressed shavings of something vaguely resembling meat of some kind. Whilst not entirely inedible it wasn’t steak canadien as we know it. The coffees were ok though. Won’t be going back for another!!

Got really excited when I saw Turkish breakfast on the Menu but then realised lots of chips and far away from Turkish breakfast. When you serve Turkish breakfast you a slice and serve fresh bread with it. You can even toast the bread like when you serve English breakfast.. You do not bring a cheap white bread to serve with your breakfast and do not wanna work here attitude. Disappointed

Hands down the worst cup of coffee in Hebden. If you’re after a decent barista avoid this place. Food is basic but okay.

Disappointed, waited an hour for our food to find out they lost our order, out server didn't even remember taking our order. When we came to pay they miss placed our bill and then had to ask what we had to drink. The food when we received it was delicious Shame the staff messed up

Only popped in for a quick bite. Very bland and a bit overpriced for what it was, had to clean our own table too! Expected more really from previous reviews? Nice lighting though.

Was the earliest place open for breakfast at hebdenbridge. Decided to give the English breakfast a go here. The cappuccino I ordered along with it was top notch. Kind staff along with courteous attitude. I'm glad this place exists at hebdenbridge. The place is only open during the mornings and afternoons.

Stopped by on Thursday for coffee and cake as it was sunny and they had tables outside. Extremely disappointed, both slices of the cake were the end pieces of a loaf , which were cut soooo thin at the bottom. It was very very dry and tasteless. The coffee I think was just instant, charged £13.30 (2 coffees two tiny bits of cake) absolute rip off. Staff were nice but that was the only good thing, we later saw loads of much nicer places that we could have gone to :( There are so many nice places in Hebden, don’t waste your money here!

Our first visit to Rendezvous in Hebden Bridge today, definitely won't be our last.The guys are extremely polite and friendly. Now for the food....The food was so flavoursome and lot's of it. Plenty of meal choices. we loved the Turkish decor, with the sun shining there was lot's of people sat outside. Now for the price's.... let's just say I'm a true Yorkshire man who likes value for money, and in my wife's and my opinion, that is exactly what we got. Thanks Mollie and the guys.

We loved the breakfast here. We had a prawn salad and a cooked breakfast. We liked our food so much that we bought takeaways as lunch to enjoy on our hired day boat.

Slightly odd little place. Staff quite nice and the food was ok-nothing special but it was hot and quite tasty. The odd thing is that they only take cash-no cards at all, so one of our party had to decamp to the cash machine. What on earth is going on with a place that doesn't take cash-especially with the pandemic?

Had the most delicious chip butty here on Saturday 15th January. Delightful place with very attentive waitress. Coffee was fantastic and the cakes looked great (although I was too full after the enormous sandwich). Excellent value for money 😊

Says open at 8. Turned up at 8.25 and the chap running the place said come back in 20 mins because everything needed warning up. Asked if we could wait in the warm, whilst waiting for things to be ready, but turned us away. Not very Hebden Bridge like. Went elsewhere to a lovely place with a warm welcome.

Really overpriced, tables are far too close together and there is a quiet atmosphere so it's quite easy for people to hear your conversations. The food is OK- Nothing special whatsoever, very overpriced and took a while. Also the coffee was disgusting. The waitress who made my hazelnut latte, put way too much hazelnut syrup in it. I couldn't taste the coffee at all. Also on top of that they don't take card. What trader doesn't take card in 2022?!

First visit and quite impressed by the taste and quality of our food. Staff friendly, quickly served good experience overall. Perhaps in these times may need to consider their cash only policy?

Lovely food. Good service. The cafe is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately there is no disabled toilet.

Me and my relatives often come for breakfast here, and we all love it. A hearty vegan breakfast is hard to come by, and Rendezvous knocks it out the park.

Has the best brunch out there. Hash brows are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Jackets are soft and buttery. Chips are crispy and dippable. Would recommend if in the area.

Easy going. Didn’t feel rushed even though it was a busy Sunday. The food was substantial for what we paid. Tasty cheese toasty, beans on toast, cheesy chips, mega chip butty and tuna Mayo sandwich. Coffee a bit weak for our taste but ok all the same. Looking at other dishes served, value for money. Would definitely recommend this cafe. However, a bit more cleaning could have been done in the toilet. Reasonably clean but back of toilet appeared untouched for quite a while. Eeew😳.

Disappointing. The food we had was good (a halloumi wrap) the salad was fair. The real problem was the serving staff on our day of visit 15th July '21. They didn't acknowledge us at all when we came in and in fact ignored us for nearly 10 minutes before we asked for a menu. No smiles or welcome. We were then ignored for a further 10 minutes or more. A couple across from us who had menus left after not being served. We were on the point of doing the same if it wasn't for the cook/manager/owner who appeared and was lovely! He was trying to do everything but he needs new staff... flat entrance, tables inside and out, lovely location.

I went inside to see about ordering coffees and asked the blonde lady waitress who said she would come and take our order at the table outside. I'd seen a sign on the counter 'Cash Only' and asked the lady if this was the case. Her black-haired colleague behind the counter chimed in with 'I've told you that already!' I was taken aback and explained that she hadn't spoken to me before (clearly mistaken identity) and asked the blonde lady 'Is she talking to me?' and told her to forget our order as I don't need that attitude and rudeness from anyone. The blonde lady clearly embarrassed by her colleagues rudeness was very apologetic but I pointed out she didn't have to apologise but her colleague should. She had now moved into the back of the shop and was not about to apologise. Avoid unless you want to be treated by rude staff members! I've had to give it 1 star to post this review - that would be for the blonde lady in trying to cover for her colleagues appalling attitude.

We were on holiday in Hebden Bridge and in the mood for an English breakfast. We came into Hebden and this was one of the few places open at around 08.30 in the morning. We sat outside as it was mild and we are still a bit nervous about Covid. But they did have arrangements in place. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were very friendly. The dog was welcome outside but I didn't check if it was dog friendly indoors. The coffee was excellent. The fried breakfast wasn't the fanciest or most substantial we've ever had, but it was well cooked and a decent helping. Personally I like a grilled fresh tomato rather than a spoonful of tinned tomatoes, but I know some people prefer the latter.

Called in Sunday afternoon 13/06/2021 and sat outside, my partner ordered the vegetarian lasagne for me as I try to eat vegetarian whenever possible and always enjoy what’s on offer. My meal came within 10 minutes and my first thoughts were “Mmm not many chips” and just a minimum amount of salad, not great for £7.99. The Lasagne itself was horrible, utterly bland very bitter but other than that TASTELESS. Lasagne is so easy to make. and with the correct spices should be delicious. Needless to say due to the portion size and the dreadful tasting main course I will not be returning. Hebden Bridge offers so many good eateries, sadly I picked the wrong one this time. Recommend you give this one a miss.

Absolutely brilliant little bistro. Stopped in for lunch, it was simple, but very tasty fare that I can highly recommend. The service was super friendly, welcoming and attentive. Will call in again, I'm sure, on our next visit to Hebden Bridge.

Wow previous comment clearly looking for a free meal! I was sat there at the time eating my dinner which was lovely by the way! The waitress was very helpful! You my love were snappy underhand and just downright rude and you would think that maybe sitting outside to eat food you may well encounter insects 🤷‍♀️ I’d probably wait until you can safely sit inside before you and your daughter pop out for lunch again! #more important things going on in the world like businesses going under and people like you adding to it! Visited today with my daughter, food wasn't very good but the place looked cheap and cheerful so we didn't expect much. My lunch was served in such a way that slices of onion spilt all over the table.. My daughter found a small dead spider...

Escaping lockdown we drove over to Hebden Bridge an decided to have lunch here. Service and food was excellent and portion size was good. Would have been 5 stars apart from being cash only, unusual these days and involved a trip to a cash machine...

Been a couple times, always very quick and efficient service. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. COVID-19 precautions all in place and carried out very well. Both inside and outside seating and food is always amazing and reasonably priced, only thing that could make this place a little better is if you were able to pay card. Would always recommend!

I have taken friends several times there when they visit from abroad, because it's a relaxed service , delicious food and the music volume just right to take you to the middle east...without having to shout because it's rarely that packed. The atmosphere is cozy...

I love this cafe. Have lunch here several times a month & the quality is always good. Staff are brilliant.

Been to this Bistro on a number of occasions and never disappointed. The full English breakfast which is available up to 2pm is well presented and enjoyable. The only down side is that they only take cash and not card which can be difficult in a market town with no banks and 3 ATMs that are not always working.

6 of us made welcome beginning with tables pushed together. Lovely lunch. Will be back next year

Went out for our breakfast everyday, called in here, warning cash only. The food was really tasty , see photos for our food choices, service quick and friendly.

Really cute place and good service. Not only did we have a lovely lunch, the owner went out of his way to mail me a package that I left behind at no cost. If I ever come back, I’ll be sure to stop here.

We keep on going back to the Rendezvous because, one, they're so friendly and two, their food is so good. Their chips are the best ever. I asked them today why, if they can make brilliant chips, other cafes can't do the same. The answer was: we only use the best potatoes, the best oil. And did I mention, the bill doesn't break the bank either.

The decor is very well done and gives this place a warm and relaxing feeling. The standard printed menu is just that - standard. A small and tasty breakfast was £5. The specials board is a different story - home made Moussaka, Calamari etc -...
