Everything was perfect for our event.

Lovely drinks especially their homebrews can recommend!

It was ok the beer was not as good as expected sadly will not be rushing back.

First time trying here for Sunday lunch having been several times before for drinks. Quite impressed, lovely food and good sized portions that were well cooked. Very reasonably priced, slightly disappointed they had run out of several things but I can't hold it against them as we booked for 2.30 and they finish serving at 3. Staff really attentive and its super dog friendly which I love. Special mention for their long island ice tea which is good and strong.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner here. Great beer as well.

Lovely bar in the middle of a mill friendly staff.

they allow dogs in there and take pride in the fact. i walked in an i instantly gipped at rancid smell of all i could explain as the smell of a farm .i’ve never been more disgusted by a restaurant. i had intentions to eat there but that wasn’t happening. got pint and left. and then they have the cheek to charge extortionate prices.

A friends wedding reception was held here and it was amazing. Food was so nice and the staff were all so friendly. Nice little cosy place for the wedding.

We recently held our wedding celebrations at The Stod Fold and we're so glad we did! We really had the best day/night, and we can't thank the staff enough. Everything was amazing, the venue, the food and the staff. All our guests had a great time and really loved the food. Thank you for everything you did for us x

Found by chance as we stayed at the nearby Travelodge Hotel. The beer was lovely and dark, but there were other choices. The food is reasonably priced, cooked to order, and it was delicious. My wife had lamb cutlets, and I a steak and Ale pie, again it was delicious and adequate portion sizes. In fact, I had to eat one of the lamb cutlets as my wife was full. The staff are friendly and very attentive, making sure everything was just right. There were lots of local customers, so I don't think we just dropped in on a lucky night. I would definitely go again.

Possibly my favourite bar in Halifax. I adore the relaxed atmosphere incredible range of beers and the fantastic service. It never ever disappoints me. Food is pretty epic too.

Food has gone completely down hill since covid. Dry, bland meat, stale bread, overcooked burnt food. Chef/staff are also rude

Great to see this local brewery & bar expand & do well post-Covid. Great building & atmosphere. I hope they can go back to having some guest beers or brew their own on keg lines, as cask only limits the appeal to fans of craft ales on keg. Here's hoping!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming and really make the visit. Food has gone off the boil a little bit but that's easily fixed. It's still always cold in there even with the heating on so I just wrap up warm when I know I'm visiting

I organised a team meeting here for an evening this week and the staff were brilliant. They resolved an issue with not having a projector/screen, thinking outside the box and taking a TV off the wall and setting it up in another room for me. Lots of my staff commented on how good the food was, I ordered lots of small bites and canapés. The venue itself is very nice, cute seating areas, lovely brickwork, lovely decor and just an overall quirky vibe. Would return for a social outing, I noticed that dogs are allowed and for people who like beer- a very good selection.

A great bar that's well worth the walk from the town centre, plenty of good beers to try, with lovely friendly staff. There is a lovely ambiance to the place, set in the iconic Dean Clough Mills complex.

Great little spot, with excellent (according to hubby), locally brewed beer. I love the cocktails, they have a large selection - A rare find in a bar where he likes the beer! Dogs are welcome too which is always a bonus. The staff are always friendly and accomodating. They also do amazing private functions that I have attended for friends. I enjoyed them so much I hosted one for my mother-in-law there! The whole event was seamless from start to finish. Even when the cake got dropped (by us!) together, the manager and chef were able to salvage and re-decorate the top!! ALL ROUND FIVE STAR VENUE for drinks, meals, nights out and private events!!

Service was acceptable but the food is poor quality. The main course of Fish chips was the size of a starter. Definitely not good value for money. The only real positive is that the setting is nice. Probably a good place for a drink but I won't be eating there again.

Just had an hour sat outside with a group of friends and had a good feel for the place.

The best Sunday lunch I've had all year. Really couldn't have done anything on my plate any better. Lovely welcome from the staff too. Oh and two cracking pints. I had the the Gold and the Blonde. Both excellent. Thank you to the team.

Pleasantly surprised. Had a pint of Stod Fold many years ago and wasn't impressed. These beers are completely different and very tasty. Food very good also. Staff friendly and helpful. Get on down😉

I had the Stod Fold Burger and it was easily the nicest burger I've had since the Damned Yankee in Leeds in the early 80s.

Superb range of varieties of beer on cask and keg including a choice of Stod Fold's own brews. Very pleasant setting in Dean Clough, my one quibble would be that the music was too loud for me and the speakers. April 2022: still great and music quieter.

A cracking little bar we almost walked past as we couldn't hear any music. Glad we didn't as it was buzzing and vibrant inside with a penchant for dogs too!

Excellent. We attended as two couples for the bottomless brunch, food was very nice, fast service on the drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

The Stod Fold is a fantastic bar and venue but more importantly is run by amazing people who do so much for Dean Clough and the wider community. They have been so receptive to working with charities and hosting events and I'll always be grateful for their support. Their food and drinks are amazing also!

Beautiful little bar. Great staff. Would highly recommend if ever you're in Halifax. Brilliant staff and decent prices.

What an amazing place, we walked in 6 weeks ago to sort a meal and left having booked the whole place for a wedding reception, both Laura and Ellie and the whole team where amazing from start to finish, it was the most stress free wedding planning we could hope , the team come up with lots of great ideas for us! ... the big day was yesterday and they did not disappoint! we had so many people saying how much they loved the cocktails and food which was truly delicious, the staff were all frendly and went out of there way to make everyone happy. I can not recommend this place enough for any sort of event!

My nephew had a party here this weekend and the room was great. The range of drinks and food they layed on was really stylishly presented. The loos were quite strangely placed within reach of the bar pumps though.

Beautiful setting. We had 3 x 1/3 beers to taste and a stunning pistachio pudding which was superb. Dean Clough is such an historic place too. I did enjoy it here. Need to go back for a meal.

One of the best pubs in Halifax. Tucked away on the edge of Dean Clough, the Stod Fold is a modern establishment with a street vibe to it. They always have a decent selection of ales on tap, and they often have guest street vendors selling their food here! A great place to come on a night out after work! They've expanded their outdoor seating area since the lockdown, which is great, so you'll never be without anyway to sit. Friendly and helpful staff, you can't really go wrong coming here!

I have just taken my girlfriend here for a date and it has been one of the best meals we’ve had. The food has been exceptional, the staff very friendly and the drink brewed in Halifax is the icing on the cake! Staying till close as I have no desire to go elsewhere. If considering at all then you should go and you won’t be disappointed!!

Great food & attentive service! I'd never heard of this place but I'm glad I found it. Thought we'd try an afternoon down at the Dean Clough complex and were pleasantly surprised at the choice of quality places to eat and drink - the Stod Fold being one of them. We'll definitely be going back.

I really enjoyed food here. Tried Taco & Tequila Tuesdays. Food was very tasty, and delicious with reasonable prices. I would definitely come back again to try other food from their menus.

Nice little bar venue in Dean Clough. Last orders on the day we visited was 10pm so we couldn't sample more than one drink but the atmosphere was welcoming enough. A little bit out of the way if you're already in town, but a great stop on the way in if you start at a Dean Clough venue early in the evening.
