Trios Neighbourhood Cafe in Calderdale

The cafe was always good, but now it's great. New menu and a whole host of new ideas. Prices are great too!

The cafe is under new management, so please watch this space for an update in January 2020. What I can say is that it's an almost complete refit with new furniture and staff and a new layout. The Threeways Centre is looking forward to our new neighbourhood facility.

Sarah and Trios recently provided outside catering for a large family gathering (50-60 people).All the guests really enjoyed the brilliant lasange, quiches and sides which accommodated for all the major dietary requirements.Sarah did a great job working in limited space and made sure food was plated up as and when people were ready to eat.Would highly recommend!

Fantastic evening spent at the Greek evening, warm and friendly welcoming. Will definitely be going back again very soon.

Visit trios regularly. Sarah is very accommodating to diet needs. She uses quality locally produced ingredients along with her culinary flair for good honest home cooked food. I've attended all of her themed bistro nights from Indian to Greek at £22 for three course meal it's a real bargain. Plenty of food and great atmosphere, would definitely recommend anyone to pop along to them.

Just amazing full English breakfast in a lovely relaxed setting. Newspapers and no rush. Not sure where the sausages and bacon are from but all tasty and good quality.

Lunches are fabulous here, can’t recommend the soup enough, served with beautiful fresh bread, a real treat. Comfortable surroundings, and books and magazines to browse as you sip the excellent coffee.The outside catering, is fabulous too, plenty of variety to suit all tastes, locally sourced and very competitively pricedWell worth a visit

My husband and I live local and we definitely be visiting this cafe again. We have meant to call in for a few weeks now but so glad we did. The food was delicious quite a Menu to suit all tastes and reasonable priced. The people are friendly and very helpful. Five stars from us on all sides. We will be telling our friends near and far and shouting your praises. We stumbled upon this cafe when walking up Nursery Lane and popped in for lunch. It's a lovely, comfortable place to stop for a drink and/or food and we got a warm welcome from Sarah, the owner, who sources her food from a local farm shop. There's plenty of choice on the menu and we were more than happy with our choice of mushroom soup and a pork burger. It's great value for money and it won't be long before we call in again.

Excellent! My husband and I recently visited Trios as we had heard some great things about this cafe. We had a hearty breakfast made with locally sourced and great quality ingredients. The sausages were absolutely delicious! There is a fab menu of homemade goodies all at amazing value for money. Plus the staff are so lovely and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

The cafe is located in The Threeways Centre on Nursery Lane, Ovenden and the food here is really quite nice. Sarah, the owner, runs a Monday Club, but you have to book for a place, and the fixed menu is always a pleasure to eat. Many of the guys at The Phoenix Shed use the cafe on a Monday and Wednesday.

excellent food, all cooked from scratch you can tell what your eating is fresh. with a great selection of food. and they will go the extra mile to make your visit a good one clean place to eat with great staff would highly recommend x keep up the hard work and the smile on your face your doing great xx

Excellent food, all made on site serving both comfort food and some thing more adventurous if you're looking for it. Would highly recommend to all.

I've visited trios today for breakfast. It is a hidden gem. It's not that easy to find unless you know where it is. I had a lovely homemade breakfast. They changed the fried eggs to scrambled no problem and they were gorgeous. Its good value, quality and quantity. I can highly recommend this place. I've been on 2 previous visits for lunch and the homemade quiche is amazing..... Xx

What a wonderful Christmas Dinner we had at Trios Dinner Prawn Cocktail, followed by a sumptuous dinner with all the trimmings. Perfectly cooked veg and plenty of gravy. Sherry trifle just to make sure we were well and truly stuffed! Can’t recommend it enough

Discovered Trios when visiting Three ways. Excellent little local cafe, great for the staff in site and visitors as right in the middle of a residential area. Would go again and thoroughly recommended. Deserves to be much better known.

I visited this new cafe for the first time and was very impressed. The cafe is in the Three ways centre and has a bright modern feel with views of the hills above Halifax. I chose a carrot and coriander soup with granary bread and my friend had a quiche and salad. All the dishes are prepared by the owner/chef and she changes the menu daily. The coffee was as good as the food and I decided to visit again and this time chose a delicious lasagne. Prices are very reasonable.If you want to try a different lunch/coffee venue you should visit Trios neighbourhood cafe on Nursery Lane, Ovenden. There's on street parking.
