The best restaurants serving Indian food in Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

Very nicely flavoured food, carefully seasoned, not swimming in oil, eveything such dishes should be. Distinctive and very tasty main courses include: Karahi paneer, Gosht achari and Chicken jalfrezi, my guess is thst the rest of the menu is just as good. Gulab jamun is a nice sweet way to finish the meal. Service was helpful and cheerful. Well worth a visit.

We spotted this on a little drive & just pulled in, no idea what the menu was going to read and we was pleasantly surprised to have found a new curry place! Have to say from the minute we walked in it was like “wow” the place just looks amazing and such a cute little spot for it! The food is absolutely amazing! We ordered the chicken tikka masala Chicken bhuna, boiled rice, chips and garlic nann (never had a garlic nann so amazing) we was blown away! Amazing flavours all food came really hot and so quick! Much cheaper than we anticipated too and for the quality we are already planning our next trip!

We are very happy regular customers here. There is always an Interesting selection of food: the theme changes from week to week (e.g. tapas, SE Asian, Mexican). The food is always beautifully prepared from fresh, local ingredients; the heating instructions are easy to follow and work well. The people who run this business are lovely and friendly; their delivery service amazing (currently you can choose Saturday or Sunday). Strongly recommended!

Simply one of the very best Indian restaurants in the UK. Always fantastic quality and great value. Have never had a bad meal here. Great food and friendly service.

Sites with the family, can’t fault the service all the staff were great,. The food however was average, no terrible just nothing special.

Had a brilliant night. Polite lovely staff showed us what to do as we hadn’t been before. Food was beautiful! we really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were so helpful bringing us another Pepsi seconds after we asked. Will definitely be returning soon

Really lovely experience overall. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The server took care to ensure we understood the menu and chose a dish which suited our spice preference.

I cannot write a review on the food on account it didn't show up! Called 10 minutes after the eta on just eat to be told it was running late, still didn't arrive, phoned back again and was told it had been delivered, which it hadn't. The operative argued it had been delivered. Poor customer service with no apology or offer of a replacement when we've ordered from there several times before. Now having to faff about getting a sizable refund via Just Eat 👎

So glad to see that it had reopened. Ordered food to be collected and they did not disappoint, the food was great and worth the money. The staff were friendly. Looking forward in ordering again from them.

Edit: Oct 2024 - Sadly, despite rumours of just closed for a refit, now seems to have closed down. Shame.

Lovely food, friendly owner! A great place with great tasting food, a good variety on the buffet they offer and a friendly staff to-boot. It's run by an owner who takes great pride in the running of his business. He even suggested that if we have specific requests for the buffet, to ring ahead so that he can have them specifically prepared fresh. More restaurants should be run like this. 😊

Good meat curries, lovely naans. Good people working there. Feels a bit cramped inside but takeaways are good.
