Duke Street Food in Calderdale

We were vastly disappointed by the second rate food refued a sweet menu we're to busy and you need to leave the table in a few minutes as it is booked. Plus we were told when booking it was the normal menu at 5 pm until 8 when they have a event on totally miss leading a fixed price menu only available at£ 27.95 it was kayotic and really poor service I would not have booked had I known it was a fixed price I didn't usually bother with reviews was served 2 small side dishes as her meal cold and.. enadable . they were greedy and totally over booked so cinnamon but you have seen the last of my family you totally ruined the first new years eve we've had off work for the past 30 years retired chef and restaurant er any poor reviews you get for that poor performance are richly deserved

Service was extremely poor (Diabolical): Was waiting 1hr 30 mins for my food, staff have no clue or awareness. Had to ask repeatedly for when our food is ready and they didnt return with a reply. (Others who came in after us got served way faster) Food was mediocre. All utensils were dirty. Not happy.

Really lovely experience overall. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The server took care to ensure we understood the menu and chose a dish which suited our spice preference.

I can’t rate this place highly enough. Welcoming and a friendly family restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty, and very good. Will definitely return. It was a birthday meal and a lovely end to the day. Thank you 🙏🏻 Kerry and Paul Special thanks to Nabila ❤️

Had a takeaway from the Lounge tonight. Food was excellent, really tasty and well cooked. Prompt delivery on time and very polite driver. Naan bread was to die for as usual. Glad that it's still very, very good. Well worth trying if you either live in Todmorden or just visiting.
