Fast service but is due to being quiet most the time.

The service, food and atmosphere was perfect. What a fantastic place.

The food here was very good, well worth the money, the server was very attentive & made us welcome as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was very quiet, possibly due to poor roadside appeal (don't judge a book by its cover) we will definitely return here in the future.

Had takeaway really good husband who is very picky said his nan bread was the best he’s had for a while. Samosas quite spucy , tandoori mix good , clean not greasy. Do recommend. I’m

Bought a Groupon voucher for Bombay Lounge as we were visiting Halifax in May. Hadn't raised our hopes as Glagow curry houses are in my humble opinion, the best in the UK. But this place was good. It was quiet( but it was Tuesday early evening). The proprietor was welcoming and the food and Kingfisher beers were excellent. Will certainly pop in ,next time in West Yorkshire.

We've just had a lovely meal at the Bombay Lounge. The dishes weren't too spicy but were very well prepared. Lots of lovely flavours. The service was excellent. And the Sundays (and Wednesdays) special offer is a great bonus. Don't be put off by the location. This is a great place to eat.

If it were not for the fact that I live 85 miles away from this restaurant, I would be there on a very regular basis. Amazing food, full of great flavours, a beautifully decorated dining area and really lovely staff, conspire to make this a real delight. Not only that, but the prices are excellent too. Highly recommended.

Ordered online, no hassle took order like a pro and food was gorgeous and warm when arrived.

Worst food ever. I know they don't cook pure Indian food but the food was purely cooked a day before. Totally under cooked, Biryani rice were hard and tasteless. They named the dishes on names of cities that do not relate the cities at all. Total disappointment. People looking for Indian food should never go there.

Had dinner here on a Groupon deal again. Food was well cooked and delicious. Staff helpful, polite and made sure we were looked after. Well worth a visit. Just been back again on another deal. Food absolutely lovely best Naan bread in Todmorden. Quality curries well cooked. Excellent polite and helpful service. Definitely worth visiting if you like a good curry.

Disappointed - had good meals in the past. Meat very tough, appeared burnt. Poor value for money. Flyer advertises free delivery over £10, charged delivery and charged for the paper bag it was delivered in. Mediocre dish, starter was ok but nann and main course very disappointing. ☹️

Amazing food, authentic and tasty … friendly, attentive staff, reasonably priced

absolutely flawless. The Afghani Chicken and the Mughal-E-Azam are incredible. I'm very new to the area so this was just a quick one because we didn't have ingredients to cook. Found this place and ordered simply anything - probably the best south Asian takeaway we've ever had and a complete surprise. So thankful that these folks are basically our local because we'll be ordering a lot more from now on. incredible

Midweek Groupon meal. Enjoyed our food. The Bombay Fish starter is one of our favourite dishes.

Time after time brilliant food, great staff and reasonably priced, we travel on the train to get here, The people of Todmorden need to support this place!!

I have only given it 1 star because I had to to be able to write a review, 1st of all they only sent half the order so I rang to try to sort it out after another hour of waiting I called back to then be put onto the drive who then told me that it had been sent when it hadn't he's said he was just going to speak to the young man who took my order who was lovely by the way, the driver came back on the phone to tell me there had been a mix up (not with the young man who took my order as the order slip he had written was attached to my bag).so they hadn't even made the other part of the order and had no intensions in sorting it out .The food that was delivered the nan tasted like it had been frozen and defrosted and soggy and the rest was cold. 1st and last time I ever order food from Bombay lounge in Todmorden

Arrived at the restaurant to find the car park, a mass of huge holes everywhere. When we drove off to find street parking my exit was blocked by a motorist, trying to reverse in in front of us and wouldn’t move. Eventually he moved over, going past him, the driver was staring aggressively at me despite it being my part of the road. Turns out he was the owner.. not a good start! Restaurant was empty quiet and shabby. The waiter, bless him, was about 15 years old, didn’t have a clue about being a waiter at all!! Sat us down, a table of 6 with one baby. The waiter took our drinks order. Beer was flat and warm, and the baby’s orange juice looked like a vodka and orange. The meal was an experience I’ll never forget as were the only table in there and no one else came during the evening, at all! The food was awful, and took ages to arrive despite there only being us in the place. I had the spicy prawn starter which consisted of maybe a full large onion, fried with 2 prawns buried in there and completely inedible salad. It was just warm enough to eat, my other guests had the combination starter which the waiter sprayed water at while entering the room, I assume to show how hot the trays were, to create some effect I imagine, never seen that before?? Looked wrong on all counts. Main courses were terrible, again cold despite us still being the only party in there, my son’s curry was just swimming in oil and cold, everything cold like it had been in the kitchen waiting for 10 minutes before bringing it out. All in all the worst eating out experience to memory, I’m sure I’m speaking for all our table including the baby as he only ate a few chips and left his chicken. When the waiter did eventually clear the table he came back and said.. get this.. “do we want anything else or do we just want the bill”!! I have never ever heard that in my life said by waiting staff… I would not recommend this place to anyone and will probably shake my head every time I drive past here in the future.

Well, it was a very good meal and very reasonable priced and the staff were lovely. BUT, the place was freezing I was cold through. I would definately go again but in the summer. I don't know how the staff work in there. They brought us a heater but it didn't make any difference it might as well have been outside.

Well had a takeaway tonight got my order wrong but after a phone call it was put right the food was very good price was well worth it would eat there again

Horrible experience walked in only 1 table being served young lad who was taking order and drinks was the rudest person I could imagine I asked him if he was having a bad day said no ha took 45 minutes for starters even doe there was 3 tables only being served said 10 minutes to get our main meal 25 minutes later still not there ended up walking out with a takeaway

Visiting family and we decided to got out for a meal. Everything we ordered was amazing. Service was second to none, every friendly and enjoyed. Shame I am not local and will be visit here when I am back in the area.

They've really upped the quality in the lat six months. Lamb is now really good quality, it was previously quite tough. It's spicier these days too which really suits me. My veggie parner likes this place best of all Tod curry houses.

This is a little gem, hidden off the main Rd. The decor isn't spectacular, but everything else far out ways that. The tables are set out nicely, the service is laid back,so don't go in a rush, but very attentive and friendly. The food is so flavoursome Great choice for vegetarian The prices are great. We go often and it takes us 40 min to get there, best Indian food we have tasted.

We purchased a 2 person meal deal voucher via groupon for £15. This allows a starter each and a main each. Our waiter was very attentive and regularly checked that everything was ok. The food came quickly and was delicious. I cannot fault the service and the food and would highly recommend. Such a bargain.

We arrived at 6:30, after having our starter which must have taken 30 mins the main course FINALLY arrived at 8:45 Sizzling mixed starter was v good, garlic & chilli curry was tasty, rice pretty average and naan cold Cobra was spot on although had to ask for bar service and ended up going to the bar myself The place was freezing, ended up putting our coats back on! Wont be going back.....

A local restaurant that is just outside of the main town but well worth a visit. The food is excellent and it's a pity that the place isn't a bit busier. They have a take-away menu and the food is equally as good. My only gripe is that it was a bit nippy in there, but it is a big room.

Went on a groupon deal and wasn’t worth the drive.The starters were tasteless and very small the main courses were edible.The waiter was very pleasant and that’s probably the best part of the meal.Wouldnt go back

First impression from the outside are not too good and the entrance door does not give a good impression.Inside the ambience is better except for the peeling wallpaper on the ceiling and the temperature is too cold to eat in comfort. The waiter is very nice and we move to a table next to a patio heater situated in the centre of the restaurant.The food is tasty and of good quality and good value especially with a Groupon voucher.On busy nights there may be a problem with finding a parking space.

Visited at 17.30 Sat. They had just opened. Unfortunately the restaurant was cold. Visited on a Groupon offer. Menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. My husband was disappointed with his starter, Momo’s that were very plain. I had chick chaat which was really nice but small in portion in comparison with other restaurants. We had a lamb Afghani and a chicken speciality curry. Immediately when I saw them I thought the portions were small. Both were tasty but had no veg except for 2 strips of pepper in the chicken dish. Beer very reasonable at £3.80 a pint of Cobra. Staff were nice but service was slow as they were busy setting up the restaurant. Our napkins were dirty and so was the poppadom basket. They do a buffet night on a Wednesday and Sunday at £9.90 per adult. Don’t know if they may have changed the meals because we were on Groupon? We left really full though. Restaurant was busy enough though it was early. Very little car parking.

We had a groupon 2 course meal for2 here. It was gorgeous food from a packed menu. I'm vegetarian and was so pleased to see CHOOCE! Well presented food. Unusual menu choices along with traditional options. Friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommended! Lovely evening!

We decided to try Bombay Lounge and although the food was good I was a little disappointed, I visited with my friend who is a vegetarian and had ordered the cheese samosa, the samosa which was served was a meat one when we mentioned to the waiting staff they told us it was because there were no cheese ones left. Incompetent and unprofessional

Fantastic little gem of a place, best curry ive had outside of bradford. Booked to go again in 2 weeks. Cant believe ive lived here 5 years and never been. Well worth a visit and highly recommend

We had been given a groupon which we were trying to use therefore this was our 2nd visit to Bombay Lounge as the first time the weather was bad and although we managed to get there the poor owners couldn't get through because of the snow! But on our 2nd visit we were not disappointed. What a lovely restaurant. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The food was delicious and the menu was varied and extensive. We will definitely be back.
