I cannot write a review on the food on account it didn't show up! Called 10 minutes after the eta on just eat to be told it was running late, still didn't arrive, phoned back again and was told it had been delivered, which it hadn't. The operative argued it had been delivered. Poor customer service with no apology or offer of a replacement when we've ordered from there several times before. Now having to faff about getting a sizable refund via Just Eat 👎

Ordered takeaway on Friday night and I couldn't physically eat it it was so bad. Ordered fish makahani, it was sweet toxic orange looking goo with a load of melted cheese on top. It had bits of batterered chopped up fish so the batter had gone all soggy. No spice, no flavour, no care had gone into this dish atall! The saag planner was super oily, just all of it was gross. I usually order from syiba it's cheaper and 100 times better, get ur chef to try a curry from there please. I won't be ordering from here again

We got in at 6.58 so just in time for the early bird. We were very impressed with the menu....lots of different dishes that we haven't seen before. The food wasn't quick coming out, but they were busy with delivery, however when it did arrive, it was soooo tasty! It's a shame that we don't live in Sowerby Bridge as this would be our favourite curry house. An added bonus is that you can take your own alcohol, even though they have a licensed bar.

Myself and my partner had a night out in SB.called in the Rajpoot for a bite to eat and the meal was beautiful,I had lamb and it was so sweet and tender....partner had sea bass and it looked amazing will defo go back again when in the area

I really enjoyed the meal, delivered quickly, free papadams, mint sauce and mango chutney !! Sizeable portions of curry and Rice, great to see the foil container back in use, I hate those Satco Containers.

Three of us enjoyed very tasty curries here, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff and quickly served. The food was very tasty, piping hot and freshly cooked, the portions were decent and we were very happy to eat in this restaurant and are happy to recommend to others eating out in this area.

2 hours after ordering still no food. Called and they said it will be there in 5 minutes. Still no food after another 45 minutes. Don't bother there's more reliable restaurants.

ordered a takeaway this evening. arrived in good time. very tasty curry. nice chunks of chicken and great paneer. will return

First time eating at Rajpoot. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very cosy. The gentleman who served us was such a warm friendly person. Food smelt delicious, sounded good on the sizzling plate and tasted really nice. Had a lovely relaxing evening with good company and would highly recommend.

We discovered Rajpoot recently and have ordered several times since. Their food is delicious and there is great variety. I also really appreciate them working with me to find vegan options :)

Just moved to this area in March and have usee the takeaway several times during lockdown. Ordered a takeaway picked up took home and they hadn't taken my order for a main , it's the first thing I ordered when I called. Agreed to go back and I would have expected to get a slight reduction given that I now has to go back to cold rice and paratha. But , rather than a small gesture of good will and customer retention they would rather sacrifice that for a few pounds. Given the number of good Indian restaurants here you think keeping customers on board would be key. Not here, clearly greed is more important that customer relationships. I wont be going back but they made absolutely clear they did not care about that....from ordering it was 1 hour and 30 minutes before I ate.

We've visited Rajpoot on a number of occasions - with family, with friends and as a couple. The early bird is fantastic value for money. Large portions which are very tasty. Staff very attentive and you can either bring your own alcohol or purchase from the bar. Also had a number of takeaways on a weekend which have always been brilliant! Can't wait for lockdown to be over and to be able to visit this restaurant. In the meantime we'll continue to enjoy take away service

Just to get one thing straight, I’m not saying not to go. I’ve been to some dire curry houses and this isn’t one of them. It all seemed though to just “lack something”. Maybe it was the decor.... silver walls and yes those seats are the Italian flag, it used to be an Italian restaurant. The curry, it just didn’t have bite or just lacked that flavour hit, I don’t know. The other thing, everything it seems is a sizzler. This was the second time I’d been in to give it a second chance and just like last time the meal left a fog of smoking fat which made me open the door, other patrons were coughing and the staff looked as if to say why are you making such a fuss. Still, you can bring your own alcohol, staff are pretty good, it’s in one of the best foodie locations in West Yorkshire so they’ve got that right and you can’t fault the price.

feeling a bit hopeless regarding poor service I've recieved from Rajpoot Indian in sowerby Bridge via Just eat. So two weeks last Saturday I finished a 13hr shift, ordered food on just eat at 20:50 to be told it wouldn't be with me til 22:10. Due to time I had no other options so thought I'd wait at 23:10 no sign of said food. I made various attempts to call the restaurant to see if they where even coming, to get no answers or engaged tone after giving up hope my hubby made me cheese on toast and I went to bed in tears. At 23:40 the door bell goes with said takeaway and my husband sent them away. I've been chasing for a refund ever since calling just eat to be told they cannot get hold of the restaurant owner to authorise the refund, for them to ask me to ring the restaurant to be told on all occasions "the boss" isn't in and no one can authorise it. Finally get just eat to get hold of them to be told they'll only authorise 50% because they delivered the food. In tears yet again. So so dissatisfied by this restaurant 😪😪

Fantastic! There are some very good curry places in Sowerby Bridge and this is one of the best. Try the early bird menu before 8 pm. Take your own alcohol as well. Food is excellent and the service is great. What more could you ask...
