Royal Saffron in Calderdale

I cannot understand all of the great reviews. The restaurant was not inviting. Food OK. Staff OK. Did not want to stay any longer than need be due to there being no heating.

After reading the reviews we thought we were in for a really nice evening. The staff were unattentive, the place was really cold - to the point of shivering and the food was mediocre. To say I was disappointed is an understatement .

Great food and fab service. 👍. Bring your own alcohol was a nice bonus. Was never rushed by the staff as we took time to eat our food and catch up. Lovely atmosphere

To say it was a Tuesday, I wasn’t holding out that it would be the best, however it was beautiful, the Vensi special was so tasty and the mixed starter was excellent.

We were celebrating our traditional family Christmas on Boxing Day this year so decided to do something a little different on the Christmas Day.So glad we booked The Royal Saffron, we had only eaten here once before when it first reopened.Despite that it had obviously been a very busy day for them, all the staff were extremely attentive and hospitable and the food was served hot and tasted delicious.Great value especially as you can take your own drinks.

Brilliant meal for dad’s birthday. Food was brilliant staff were even better. Happy and super helpful. Would highly recommend

First time at this restaraunt and I have to say it is probably one of the tastiest curries I have ever had. As a vegan it can be tough to find Indian restaraunts that cater to a dairy free pallet but there was lots of choice. The staff understood the dietary requirements and the service was second to non. We are already planning our next night out at this place. You will not be dissapointed.

Absolutely amazing food fantastic atmosphere friendly and welcoming staff a must if you haven't been I have been converted to curry after never having one before.

We had a fantastic experience at Royal Saffron! The food was absolutely delicious and you could truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. It was a great choice for our work outing. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is in a converted pub so the decor is a little underwhelming but when it comes to the food, it is in a class of it's own. This is the best Indian food we have ever eaten. The staff are friendly and efficient and we will certainly be going back.

Amazing curries and very friendly and attentive service. Tikka was amazing and Shashlik was perfectly seasoned. We will be back :)

Fantastic welcome, the service is first class and the food is some of the best I have tasted. You will not be disappointed if you give it a try.
