I cannot understand all of the great reviews. The restaurant was not inviting. Food OK. Staff OK. Did not want to stay any longer than need be due to there being no heating.

After reading the reviews we thought we were in for a really nice evening. The staff were unattentive, the place was really cold - to the point of shivering and the food was mediocre. To say I was disappointed is an understatement .

Great food and fab service. 👍. Bring your own alcohol was a nice bonus. Was never rushed by the staff as we took time to eat our food and catch up. Lovely atmosphere

To say it was a Tuesday, I wasn’t holding out that it would be the best, however it was beautiful, the Vensi special was so tasty and the mixed starter was excellent.

We were celebrating our traditional family Christmas on Boxing Day this year so decided to do something a little different on the Christmas Day.So glad we booked The Royal Saffron, we had only eaten here once before when it first reopened.Despite that it had obviously been a very busy day for them, all the staff were extremely attentive and hospitable and the food was served hot and tasted delicious.Great value especially as you can take your own drinks.

We had a fantastic experience at Royal Saffron! The food was absolutely delicious and you could truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. It was a great choice for our work outing. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is in a converted pub so the decor is a little underwhelming but when it comes to the food, it is in a class of it's own. This is the best Indian food we have ever eaten. The staff are friendly and efficient and we will certainly be going back.

Oldham RoadWe were vastly disappointed by the second rate food refued a sweet menu we're to busy and you need to leave the table in a few minutes as it is booked. Plus we were told when booking it was the normal menu at 5 pm until 8 when they have a event on totally miss leading a fixed price menu only available at£ 27.95 it was kayotic and really poor service I would not have booked had I known it was a fixed price I didn't usually bother with reviews was served 2 small side dishes as her meal cold and.. enadable . they were greedy and totally over booked so cinnamon but you have seen the last of my family you totally ruined the first new years eve we've had off work for the past 30 years retired chef and restaurant er any poor reviews you get for that poor performance are richly deserved

Had a takeaway from the Lounge tonight. Food was excellent, really tasty and well cooked. Prompt delivery on time and very polite driver. Naan bread was to die for as usual. Glad that it's still very, very good. Well worth trying if you either live in Todmorden or just visiting.
