Been a couple of times and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. I had the lobster ravioli and it was totally delicious. My husband had meatballs and a pizza and he was very happy with them both. The waiter was lovely and the service was excellent. Can’t fault this place and looking forward to returning

Went there to meet friends for a catch up. Ask to eat upstairs if you can, there’s more tables up there so the atmosphere’s better. I had the spicy meatballs to start that were really tasty, Wifey had salt and pepper calamari tempura to start followed by a calzone pizza which was huge, she couldn’t finish it. I had sea bass and king prawns for mains. Lots of prawns, shells were split butterflied so were easy to eat. Excellent food and worth the price. Menabria Italian lager on draught was nice too. All in all we feel like we’ve found a regular spot to go to. Pity we’re not that local to it but we’ll def go again.

Excellent five-course dinner (appetiser, starter, main, dessert, cheese). Fixed menu changes regularly (vegetarian alternatives available, though we didn't sample these). All dishes are inventive but without gimmicks. Good and reasonably priced wines to accompany. Friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. Lovely atmosphere, candle-lit and informal. Crockery as well as food is home-made. Thoroughy recommended.

Fantastic bottomless brunch! Great value for money. Our group of girls have been round the bottomless block and can say this is the most attentive bottomless we’ve been too, refilling our drinks constantly and a shot to finish too! Pizzas were delicious and lovely music and atmosphere. Such polite friendly staff Tom & Will! Made sure we had a great time thank you!

Went to Ripponden to stay with my sister before going on to Sheffield and she suggested we went here for lunch. Set on the ground floor of an old mill now converted into small businesses/offices this family owned cafe has a varied menu which changes daily with both hot, cold and gluten free choices. Two of us had the chicken curry whilst the others had poached salmon salad and a baked potato. Good choice of desserts too and friendly staff with the only downside being that it was a bit on the expensive side. Having said that I would gladly return the next time I come up north.

This is a great place for a coffee & a sweet treat or a spot of lunch, along with a great selection of Italian wines and food to take home with you - highly recommended if you're in the area

Before entering the restaurant I looked at the menu outside, I saw something I wanted and ordered inside to takeaway. I ordered myself the Italian stallion burger… my partner also ordered something else… I waited 20 minutes for the order, left and then realised… they had given me a pizza… something spicy. Not my choice. So I went back in and they said they no longer did the burger however they had given me the ‘Italian stallion pizza’ but there is no such a pizza? On the menu or otherwise. So I left disappointed, hungry and £50 short. Honestly would look for other alternatives prior to considering returning.

First time going last night. Was very impressed. The food was very nice and the chef was even happy to accommodate changing some of the menu to get it exactly how I liked which I'm greatful for. The staff were extremely friendly and happy and willing to assist in any way they could. The only gripe I have is by the end of the night around 21:30 it felt like we're being pushed to leave even tho there was a party of 8 or so still behind us far from ready to leave.

Delicious food and exceptional service, whether going for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Ricci's will never disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce had a fantastic depth of flavour and was balanced perfectly, didn't feel too heavy or overwhelming. The specials are always fantastic as well

Extremely slow service. Attended for a family meal in which a pre-order was requested from the restaurant, which was provided. It then took over an hour for less than half the people to get their starter (other half hadn't ordered starters). Then another hour wait for our main courses. Between courses the tables were cleared by a family member as the dirty pots were sat on the table. Then there was an issue with dessert orders and 2 desserts were missed. Overall spent 3 hours and 30 minutes at the venue, which is far too long for a meal. We booked at 4pm due to two toddlers coming and did not expect to only be leaving at 19:45 hours. Also paid £15.95 for a margarita pizza with a small bit of ham on, which seems a lot. Extremely disappointing and likely will not attend again.
