Delicious food, warm and welcoming atmosphere and always amazing friendly service. I’m a regular diner at Gio’s and haven’t yet had a meal that wasn’t 5*.

Gio’s is a family-run Italian restaurant serving delicious food with brilliant service from all staff. The welcome is warm and they make sure to look after you throughout your visit. The menu is plentiful with a good drinks selection too. It is located on a busy crossroads junction, however you don’t notice this at all when inside. Parking available in Hipperholme a few minutes walk from the restaurant and free after 18:00. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine. Note: For those with mobility issues, ask to be seated downstairs.

Been this way evening for son’s birthday. We were warmly greeted as we walked in. And the fantastic service continued with every staff member being friendly and really lovely. The food was delicious, all 4 of us enjoyed it all (hubby can be difficult to please). Definitely recommend and will return.

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is by far the nicest food I've eaten out at any restaurant. The staff are so good, genuinely so friendly and were brilliant with our daughter who has now declared this her favourite place. One million percent would recommend, over and over again. Can't wait for our next visit already

Fabulous happy, professional and wonderful team, awesome choice of home made gluten free food, with by far the best gluten free pizza I have ever had…. Followed by delicious gluten free sticky toffee pudding. It was reasonably priced and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food,compliments to the chefs, I had chicken calzone for my main, wow, beautiful. Atmosphere was really good, every member of staff was attentive, smiling and polite. We where a table of 10 everything was served together. One of my group is Celiac and her pizza looked amazing. Everyone enjoyed the food. Had a really good night and we will be back.

Gio's has a fab vibe as soon as you walk through the door. You are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The guys are ready to help with menu choices and really care about making your visit enjoyable. The food is lovely. There was a little bit of a wait between courses when busy but that adds to the evening. There is definitely no pressure to 'eat and go' like other there is at other establishments. Try the grappa amora....very smooth. We are already planning our next visit.

Went for Christmas dinner this year and all I can say is the food and service were 10 out of 10. The turkey dinner and the fillet steaks were cooked to perfection really good value for money thanks so much and we will be back !

Fantastic meal and the spare ribs were superb, not often you can get spare nowadays so indulge yourself, the ambiance also brill, can't fault it in any way, we will be back soon, the wine very reasonable and the service second to none
