The best restaurants serving Asian food in Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

What nice people and grand food all in the Trades club. reasonably priced and nicely served. Ok you might have to wait but here its not a problem particulalry if you sample soem of the decent ales at the bar. Supporting two local businesses - what is not to like

Just had a party today , unfortunately we are still eating and they told us that we need to vacate the table in 15 minutes, as we find it rude. I know they are very busy restaurant but we are paying customers as well. Plus my friends already sat in the table and they ask them to off the table as we have only few reservations as far as I know they've been informed regarding additional people coming over and they said yes so we have all to squeeze on table which you can't enjoy proper eating. Food wasn't all the same portions but the same price..

This evening we went for a meal at the Village. We met up with family. We left Sowerby Bridge 5 years ago and this was our first opportunity to go back to The Village. What can I say? The service and the meals were first class. The curries as delicious as we remembered. The peshwari naan totally flavoursome.

Another great curry from this friendly takeaway. I love having a meal from here and watching them cook it while I wait. Never had a bad meal yet

I went for the Wednesday 2-for-1 deal (most mains and starters were included in that) for my first visit to Colombo and was blown away by the food. I had the vegan kothtu, quite unlike any curry I've ever had - lovely!

Very tasty food and good service the curry's are excellent in taste and texture the chicken tikka vindaloo and naga are worth trying they are easily the best curry on the menu I would eat them again

Since Zaika changed hands, the service is beyond terrible. We've given them several chances, but takeaway is always horribly late and often with items missing. Takeaway 2 weeks ago took 2 hours! Went to collect tonight - 40 minutes after the stated time and still stood here waiting. No free bhaji with delivery anymore and there's always something missing from the order. Such a shame as the food is lovely. Tonight was last chance saloon and it's been a big fat fail.

Absolutely disgusting takeaway. Ordered duck, about 1g of meat and the rest was duck skin, v v v bad. Worst ever had. Daughter had pad Thai again with duck. Hers was microwaved but tasted like it had been fried in a dirty chip fryer. Awful avoid at all cost

2 and a half hour delivery time is simply not acceptable

Absolutely disgusting and well over priced!!! donner meat tasted microwaved chicken tasted off and chips had black bits all over them!!! Think an oil change is needed. Only thing that was nice was the salad the whole lot got binned!!!
