Pizza King in Calderdale

Absolutely disgusting and well over priced!!! donner meat tasted microwaved chicken tasted off and chips had black bits all over them!!! Think an oil change is needed. Only thing that was nice was the salad the whole lot got binned!!!

Ordered using uber eats but the order never arrived. Usual phone calls to takeaway but was told a pack of lies each time. Stay away. You've been warned.

Popped in for a pizza, as title, whilst visiting the area..lovely pizza and nice staff..very clean and place worth visiting..prices excellent.

Ordered 2 cheese burger meals one with onions and cheesy chips, a bottle of pepsi and a cheesy garlic bread. 1 hour and 40 minutes later we receive a partial order. We recieved the bottle of Pepsi but not the 2 cans of pop that come with the meal, we received a burger with onions and plain chips (no cheese on the cheeseburger and no cheese on the chips) and a plain garlic bread minus the cheese. The garlic bread was cold, broken and in a box twice its size. Rung pizza king and they said they were closed the day before and I was told I was lying about the food being cold and the order not being here. After 10 minutes of arguing on the phone being called a liar I was told there was nothing I could do unless I wanted another cheeseburger which would take them another hour. After I said after waiting almost 2 hours for food that I havrnt received and receiving abuse on the phone I dont want to wait another hour for a burger when you are only 10 minutes down the road I was told they would give me a refund however this never happened. Calling customers liars and trying to blame it on being closed the day before is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

I am shielding and have not been out of the house for 7 weeks, so was really looking forward to this. The food was disgusting! My sons crispy duck was just soggy duck skin, no crispy about it. Mine and my daughter-in-laws chow meins tasted distinctly nasty, with fatty meat in it. My son threw his special fried rice away after a mouthful. The prawn toast was burnt and I'm sure had never seen a prawn, just sesame seeds. My other son had a pizza and said it was ok. Not sure how this place is still open if this is a sample of what they serve up. If you value your health don't go there!

I placed an order from Pizza King in Halifax at the end of April. I ordered a Sweet and Sour Chicken meal with egg fried rice, a Chilli Chicken meal also with egg fried rice. What was delivered to me door was an absolute disgrace and the company should be embarrassed to even drop off food at a paying customers door like this. The chicken for the sweet and sour meal was well and truly overdone.. there is crispy chicken and then there is simply inedible. There was a hole in the box with the chicken (I hope this was a burn and not a rodent) the egg fried rice just didn't look like egg fried rice at all. The sweet and sour sauce had black bits floating around in it and the chilli chicken was swimming around in literally a pool of sauce and was ever so soggy. Will never ever order from this place again. The standards are extremely low.

Absolutely joke !!! Taking a piss of their customers , keep lying and being rude. The food was late over 2 hours !! Made me and my 8yrs old son starve and upset.They made me drive to the restaurant only to tell me I need to wait another 15min , it was 25min , so finally got my food drove back home only to find out it’s not completely! Another 30 min waiting for the delivery of missing food. Ordered at 8pm finally when I had my food at 22:20 it was cold and the portions smaller than in kids meals!!! 6 small prawns in sweet and sour? 8 tiny chicken pieces in chicken mushroom?!!! Ridiculous, for same price I used to have cracking full box of meat from my local Chinese but unfortunately they are closed now . Anyway the restaurant agreed with a refund unfortunately it was another lie, rang them 6 times and everytime they were keep lying saying they will refund the money but they never did , some of staff was very rude some of them were saying they are the owner ( apparently they have 3) This business shouldn’t be serving anybody , My worse take away experience ever, absolutely nightmare!!!

Do not order from here. Ordered a special pizza and was specifically asked NOT to put mushrooms on. The whole pizza was laced with it. And it was tasteless. Horrible place. Can't understand standard English ffs

I gave this place a try having moved to the area recently, needless to say it was a mistake. The food was awful. The thai green curry was very unpleasant, it was glutinous and sludgy, like nothing I tasted before (see picture). It was a mess with some papper and chicken bits thrown in. The spring rolls were probably straight from Iceland and the chips was obviously old and refried. Save your money and look elsewhere, like anywhere but this place.

If i cold put zoro stats i would of i got an adult chicken nugget meal and my little couison got a kids they were the same size my mom got shammi kecbabs she late started throwing them up the donna meat is descrase ful it took 4 hours to come it was stone cold the fries dry and hard to chew very disapointed 😠

So i was very drunk and very hungry when i ordered a donner kebab. We waited 1 hour for this. It came in a really hard dry naan bread, the salad was just a couple of slices of white onions and cabbage and a very disgusting sauce . We asked for yoghurt and mint but never got it. Unable to eat this despite the hunger and alcohol. Im gonna stick to cheese on toast at home in the future.

I have been here before and it was ok but this time ordered this time and it took about 3 hours to arrive. When the food finally came the chips were peeling of the bottom of the box because the cheese on the chips was like super glue and I could taste the plastic also my meet was like eating rocks besides the Donna meet was frozen as if it had just been delivered and had no taste I felt like I was eating my rug and it smelt like rotting egg and at last the burger was just batter with barley and chicken that was inside smelt smelt like a decomposing body

Placed an order yesterday and it was the first and last time I will ever order anything from there. The chicken tasted of iron. My husbands chicken green pepper and black bean sauce looked like frog 🐸 spawn. It was the worse Chinese I have ever had.

Food quality isn't consistent, and sometimes the delivery missed items off of the order this time but other than that it's pretty good.

I'm a regular costumer with pizza king and iv never had a problem with the food. it's warm and tastes very fresh iv rated this as a 5 star because they are really friendly and always bring my son a lolly

Awful food - Special Chow mein was dry, chewy and barely warm. Only chicken and one prawn (I asked for no seafood) - I can't believe I paid this much for it. When I rang to complain they essentially told me to p*** off.

Got a chicken masala,shami kebabs the chicken was fatty/stringy the kebabs were dry and bland no flavour and swimming in grease even the poppadoms were soggy and tasted foisty would not recommend this to any body I would give it zero stars if I could needless to say the food ended up in the bin

It's a new place with new ownership. Great food. Seriously I don't remember eating better kebab in my life. It was awesome. It is run by a couple, they have few tables available, deliver food locally I'm going to visit this place very often.

The cookie dough was gritty and was missing the fresh fruit that i paid extra for and the banoffee waffles were just cheap shop bought waffles with a bit of chocolaty syrup and a few banana slices not impressed, total waste of money, next time will take my custom elsewhere.

Food order was wrong, ordered Oreo ice cream and I got bubblegum. Order turned up an extra 30 minutes late, bearing in mind this is on top of the extra 20 minutes the takeaway added. Also the takeaway do not answer their phone I rang multiple times to no answer. Overall bad experience

Waited a hour and a half for 2 burgers, from literally down the road, only for it to come with no salad and a plain burger instead of a garlic burger.. chips were like rock, won't be going here again

I asked for Black Forest Gateaux and got Chocolate Fudge cake and there was a piece of foil I'm the sauce on the waffle. Other than that it tasted good and delivery time was adequate for the distance. Would day that it was over priced for actual quality but overall decent enough. Won't be rushing to order again.

Llamamos, en numerosas ocasiones, ya que no llega a este momento, sólo me dijeron que 5 minutos. 5 minutos todavía nada. 20 minutos y todavía nada. 30 minutos, todavía nada. Otra media hora fui, así que llamamos de nuevo y esta vez nos dijeron que estaban experimentando problemas con su coche. Ni siquiera reciben una llamada de teléfono para hacernos conscientes de que nuestra comida iba a ser incluso más tarde. Así que hemos esperado por casi dos horas y aun no es aquí! After months and month of wanting to try this place we finally decided to order, came 20 mins early which is great!!! Wish I'd have read reviews first tho!! My strawberry cheesecake gelato leaked onto my banoffee "hot" cookie dough which was cold so was my bfs strawberry cookie dough!! For £20 I was pretty disappointed and won't order again!!

The deluvery was 20 minytes late which didnt bother me that much but both deserts were disgusting, there was no toffee sauce, rasperries or extra fresh fruit n the tiny amount of waffle that we got for around £7. Everything looked mouldy and microwaved, the icecream tasted like soil even more so than the cookie dough, everything was awful and I really expected better due to my area not offering anything else similar to this takeaway!

I do not recommend this place at all! Ordered my food at 7:00 o'clock to be here for 8:00, half hour later I ring to ask where my food is and they tell me they don't deliver to orders under 10 pounds even though on the website it says 5 pounds, he then tell me he's got another order near my house and can deliver my food at 10:00!! Do not order from here !!!

Y cuando llamé y pregunté donde mi pedido me dijeron que estaba listo para la entrega, pero el conductor nos estaba esperando la lluvia a amainar un poco antes compró. Originally ordered at 9 o'clock, waiting an hour and called they said they don't usually deliver to Sowerby bridge even though they accepted it already? Then said 30 minutes and it just didn't turn up. Appalling service, don't even bother.

Not pleased at all. I ordered 2 portions of chips along with the pizzas. And I didnt realise until I got inside they had forgot the chips. They even charged me £2.90 aswell for something I didn't receive. Tried ringing them and no answer. Won't be ordering from here again, no honesty whatsoever!!!

The food was a late but the very helpful delivery driver and manager gave me a free 2 litre bottle of coke and money off our next order.

Waffles just came in a big mess hardly no chocolate on them no cream on them at all just traces of it milkshake was warm not cold or not even a milkshake it was more milk it is a shame because this is the second time this has happened and it's used to be really nice from here 2 times is enough for me won't be going again

If i could leave a zero star review for service i would. Ordered 3 milkshakes some cheesecake and a waffle to share. It arrived after 40 minutes. The driver passed the bag of goodies over and the paper bag split. Sending milkshake everywhere. The waffle was foul. Tasted sour rather than sweet (banofee waffle) the so called cheesecake was definitely not a cheesecake more of a cream cake. Called the restaurant who "pride themselves on second to none service" to be told i won't get a refund [not even for the shakes] the best they can do is send me one milkshake out for a completely reunited 20 pound order

Ordered from here twice, the first time was a pepperoni pizza, it arrived lukewarm. Once I tucked in was disgusted at the amount of salt on the pizza. I don't know why it was so salty but it was horrific, I thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again, only to find the same salty product. Definitely stay well away from this place.

one suggestion off the bat would be to label up your Gelato and yogurt flavours as it's a touch tricky to tell the differance between the cherry , strawberry and raspberry that said once we'd got it sorted out it was nice the chocolate chip cookie dough was very nice soft gooey and warm which went will with the cherry gelato i got with it the large banoffee waffle was a bit of a disappointment though plenty of waffle with a bit of banana sliced on top and a couple of squirts of cream at the side ... no real taste of the toffee part that normally mates up Banaoffee and not really enough topping turned up on time though and the cookie dough was hot ( waffels not so much) i will be trying them again

Fumming! I know I haven't changed my number but I order a drink at £1.50!! And it hasn't been delivered might not e a lot but it's not cheap for a tacky little drink! I understand you can run out you could of replaced! And to say you asked for £16 when it was only £15 something!! Lass at 43ovenden way!!
