The Gnarly Bone Cafe in Calderdale

Food, service and atmosphere all positively pawsome! Would recommend to all human and their furry friends.

I called in while out walking my dog, we had a lovely meal and the service and surroundings are brilliant.

The perfect spot to cool down after a long day, as the protector of the garden from all sorts of scary stuff: squirrels, birds and even next doors cat 😬 as you can imagine I need time to let loose at the end of the week. I popped in on my lunch break with my friend Monty and we both had delicious dishes, he had the duck ( having failed in been able to catch one him self on the canal he was delighted ...) and I opted for the chicken as recommended by the waiter for a dog of my constitution 🙄. All washed down with the house H20 admittedly my personal preference is for puddle water however it was refreshing and hit the spot for a lunch time tipple ... I’d love if if they added puddle water to the menu for our next visit ! The bill was delivered with some delightful coconut treats and a lovely ear rub ! Our new local and we couldn’t be happier! We had a lovely lunch and it was so lovely to be able to take Buddy and for his favourite food to be on the menu, Pure Petfoods Turkey Terrific! The little veggies, unmistakable aroma of parsnip meant he was a happy boy, we look forward to trying more of your extensive menu in the future!

The perfect spot for dinner with my best pal. Why someone hasn’t thought of this before is beyond me.

Sowerby bridges hidden gem, if its a snack your after or one of the many meals which Is on the well stocked menu, then you wont be disappointed, the staff are friendly and full of yorkshire humour too, superb 👍🏼

The perfect place to meet with friends who have dogs when you need a sit down after a dog walk. Great atmosphere, will be returning again soon!

Nice home cooked food from toasties and potato wedges to cake and coffee. Dog treats available for your furry friends, our dog loves the fruit smoothies for a healthier option. The food is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone for a visit with the pup.

Having a walk along the canal we veered off to visit the Gnarly Bone cafe and what a welcome we received. Just 1 man and his dog, brilliant idea - a daytime cafe that welcomes dogs and walkers. We had a veggie breakfast and oodles of laughs. We’ll be back!

All the food is first class and freshly prepared, prices are so reasonable and your dog is catered for too, what more could you want!

My dogs loved their trip to the gnarly bone. It’s very clean and caters to my dogs wonderfully. They really care a lot about the quality of their food and service. My dogs were very well fed and watered!

Fantastic breakfasts and home cooked hearty food with some great specials. Well worth a visit with a dog or without . Homemade cakes are amazing

Went to Gnarly Bone as we had been told it was dog friendly. Couldn’t believe it when our dog could also eat with us (they actually serve dog food). My dog loved it - not sure he will be happy going back to his usual...

I visited the Gnarly Bone Cafe last week to try the talked about Meaty Sweaty dessert and I was not disappointed. The service was exceptional, and I will be visiting again. It’s a paws up from me!
