Our 1st time in using this chippy in ages, now ive moved to Rudheath from Moulton it will be our local from now on. £6 for the fish&chip meal deal was yummy( batter was light crispy and not greasy) and excellent VFM and a good portion for myself, ( a slice of lemon and tartare too)! my dtr had the sausage chips with gravy,she said it was yummy. I phoned my order through and it was ready for noon pick up.

Lovely fish chips and peas (hubby had curry sauce)..better on the fish is so light and crispy..😋..never disappoints.. parking is an issue but worth the struggle.😁..highly recommend.

I got a large sausage and steak pudding and some chips. It was delicious. And amazing fresh chippy. I would go again so good. Great tasty food. Great value for money. Great place for a good value for money. You get a lot for your money.

Possibly the best chip shop in the whole of Northwich. Beware, portions are huge so a large chips will feed 4! Steak and kidney puddings from the steamer now microwave too... Recommended..

Friendly staff and excellent fish and chips

Asked for spicy curry sauce, got an extremely sweet liquid. Also asked for Cajun cod which didn’t taste any different to normal batter. Just to top it the staff aren’t friendly.

Had fish and chips it was presented very well with tartar sauce and fresh lemon in a large paper try with lid. The meal stayed crisp and was a large portion.

central chippy is a Fantastic ( English chippy) absolutely superb on my doorstep the food is superb chips the best and also the fritters burgers chicken ect, are all outstanding all ther menu is great !! And friendly owners highly recommended just fantastic !!!!

I wish when i ordered the pies they had warned me they would nip in the back and microwave them. They were floppy and wet which made them the same texture as the chips.

We were very impressed with our dinner from Central Chippy. We got a large chips (which was huge), scampi which was so tender and delicious and some hot curry sauce. All were very reasonably priced, fresh and delicious. The shop was clean, service was fast and the serving lady was very nice. We will definitely be returning to try other stuff.

Fantastic good old fashioned British chippy we grew up with. Best fish and chips I've had in 20 years. Beautifully presented with a wedge of lemon and tartare sauce. My husband had a perfect beef burger with onions relish and lettuce with chips. Couldn't find any faults , perfect freshly cooked food , real chips from a chipper. We will certainly visit again. Would highly recommend. As my husband said great value for money, lovely meals. This made a great day out for us, so hard to find a real dedicated chippy, thank you to all the staff.

Always had a good meal from Central Chippy. Where in Northwich can you buy fish & chips for under a fiver? You can here. Meal deals are cheap and everything is cooked fresh to order.

Visit today, Food was good,what I had of it but the personal hygiene was not the best.. The man in the back came out to get the chips out the fryer and was Covered in ither cat or dog hair put me off. But already had my food in the bag at this time... No hair nets or aprons. Shame used to be a good clean chippy
