Came with my daughter and her school friend, lovely cake, amazing huge milkshakes and I had the salmon bagel. Really good quality food, friendly staff and spacious
My son and I stumbled upon this caféfeeling tired and hungry after our house move. I was amazed by the cheerful and interesting new owners and the lovely decor. It was immaculate and yet extremely homely. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast which Jamie Oliver would have been proud of. Beautiful. The self effacing new owners were so obviously master cooks and artists as well.
I can't wait to go back. Cafés can often be over priced, complacent and a bit tired. Not this one. I would highly recommend a visit to lift the spirits and experience beautiful food.
This is an 'older style' fish and chip shop, well established over the years. The staff are friendly, and give good customer service. The food is excellent, cannot fault it. Hey taje telephond orders. Very good fish and chips, serving Haddock. We would definitely recommend this fish and chip shop.
Great food and service all at a reasonable price. Several Polish people eating there, one from Manchester.
We ate off the Polish menu, everything was very good.
Came here for a hot drink as staying at Premier Inn, had wanted a cooked breakfast but not serving at the time - they happily made a 'proper' coffee, and gave me a warm welcome and wasn't rushed.Very good prices. Well recommended for a sit down and a chat
This was an amazing little place to eat pizzas. The prices are really reasonable. The pizzas are so tasty and there is a great choice for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and I think they did gluten free bases as well. The side dishes were delicious too. They serve the meals in boxes so you can take home what you can’t eat, we took home some pizza and chips as we over ordered and I have just had a piece of pizza for lunch (done in the air fryer) and it is still delicious.
It’s a small place so it is advisable to book. The man that served us was really friendly and helpful and it really made the start of our night a great one.
Without question the food here is good. The tastiest sandwiches and cakes. However, the reception can vary depending on who is working. On our last visit the dark haired lady serving couldn’t even be bothered to say Hello and was actually a little rude. Felt rather unwelcome and uncomfortable whilst spending £20 on 3 sandwiches. We think we’ll spend our money elsewhere going forwards.
What nice people and grand food all in the Trades club. reasonably priced and nicely served. Ok you might have to wait but here its not a problem particulalry if you sample soem of the decent ales at the bar. Supporting two local businesses - what is not to like
Me and my partner came for Sunday lunch again and it was excellent I had a small portion and partner had normal size staff very friendly and helpful too
Best coffee (like... proper coffee) in the area. It's that simple. Stay for the donuts (stay for two). In a town with too many coffee shops, this one was the one it needed.
Has a new owner who makes fantastic sandwiches well. Both panini’s were well cooked and so full of flavour. The beef salad was huge, very fresh and had everything. Give it a try

Literally the best sandwich shop around for miles. I work all over Yorkshire and have tried a lot of sandwich shops and none come close to this one for me. 11/10 food 11/10 staff please never change 💛
