The Magic Sandwich in Calderdale

My son and I stumbled upon this caféfeeling tired and hungry after our house move. I was amazed by the cheerful and interesting new owners and the lovely decor. It was immaculate and yet extremely homely. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast which Jamie Oliver would have been proud of. Beautiful. The self effacing new owners were so obviously master cooks and artists as well. I can't wait to go back. Cafés can often be over priced, complacent and a bit tired. Not this one. I would highly recommend a visit to lift the spirits and experience beautiful food.

after going for my weekly swim, i decided to pop into the magic sandwich for a change, after looking at the menu i decided to try there yorkshire berrito which is like a wrap with slices of topside of beef with fried onions , gravy optional,and it was delicieous & different, and well worthg £3.80p, and would recommend it if you like your wraps or fancy something different thabn your normal sarnie.the owners are ver friendly and welcoming in king cross's hidden gem.

Have been going to the magic sandwich since just before xmas 2018,the owners Andrew and geena are very friendly and welcoming, I would recommend you visit this little hidden gem of king cross Halifax, there is a good choice of sandwiches/meals to choose from. Personally I would recommend the sausage/bacon/mushroom butty. It may be a small café but well worth a visit. Keep up the good work Andrew & Geena .

I visit 2/3 times a week Magic Sandwich back King Cross across from Library. They provide a Warm Welcome with a very variety of good food. I look forward to the Small breakfast which comes with 2 very good chunks of bread in coffee/ tea bread and butter if you like . Cost 3.75 and fills you up for the whole day. They are very clean and can eat in as well . I can tell everyone who reads my page . Well worth a visit takeaway or eat in . Very impressive and reasonable price. Yum Yum

The owner is literally the best person that has ever lived. He just cares you know. what a guy. recently lost weight but Chris' smile and warm gaze is enough to coax anyone back to calories!

Called in for a sandwich on several occasions now and each time has been perfect. Cooked exactly how I asked for it and the service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to anybody either passing by or bringing the family and friends for breakfast or lunch.

Wonderful staff and excellent food. Cleanliness to the highest standard! Will be visiting again soon.

Gorgeous cafe and food is brilliant, very clean and staff are lovely . Enjoyed are breakfast and the owner was brilliant helping with my baby when he was upset, really made us and baby feel welcome although he was upset xx

Yummy breakfast as usual. They never dissapoint. Low prices and lovely ,friendly atmosphere too! Great!!

Best Sandwich shop I have ever been to, they deliver to my work also, always on time and sandwiches always delicious. I would highly recommend this place, friendly people and great service!

If ur looking for a 5* breakfast at realistic prices then this is ur place to go. Bacon sausage egg tomatoe beans spam blackpudding toast tea coffee it sets u up for the whole day and is great quality food. Cheerful professional staff clean small seating area inside or u can ask for it to be put in tray as take out. Been loads of times and will continue to do so. Sandwiches etc as well but ive not had sandwiches yet from here but my husband has and he said that the sandwiches are also fantastic.
