Jamie's Place in Calderdale

Specifically requested crispy fat on the bacon, basically burnt - my god did they exceed! Absolutely BANGING. Only moved to the area a few weeks ago and I’ve been here a good 4-5 times already! Everything so fresh, reasonably priced and quick to serve. I’m now a regular, thank you!

Had 2 great night sleeps here, slightly more cum on the sheets than you would normally want but 5* all round!

Found this hidden gem next to the NISA , lovely food and I love that you can pay food forward and pop it on a love heart for someone who is less fortunate- incredible idea and an amazing way to give back . Will definitely be back

Go in all the time for breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Really good value. The owner works so hard and everything is freshly prepared.

Today Jamie made me my sandwich as he knows I all ways like it, he's a local man with good manners for the peaple he serves in his cafe. He is allways busy and the food is lovely. I am glad we have him serving food in owr local area, I Will keep coming back.

We're just used Jamie's Place, for a wake, and were all very pleased with the service. The food was excellent quality and fresh. Plenty for everyone, a lovely selection and it all tasted great ! Communication was also good .Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks Jamie 👍 😊

The atmosphere would be lovely if the cook/owner wasn't so stressed out all the time. He chunters to himself and complains constantly but doesn't seem to let other staff cook, which is a shame as it's a cute little cafe

Jamie's Place came recommended by a friend when I was looking for someone to provide a buffet for guests at my mums funeral. It was a difficult time for all the family with everything that needs sorting, the catering being one. I needn't have worried as I knew that Jamie's professional approach and reassurance when we spoke meant I had the right person to help and I could leave everything in his hands. We spoke about how many we were expecting at the wake and he gave good solid advice about options available including not to over cater for guests. The food provided on the day was great and all the guests commented on the quality which was excellent. Jamie and his team even delivered and set up the buffet as we were unable to collect on the day of the funeral. If you are looking for catering for any occasion, I can highly recommend Jamie and his team to support you with your requirements. Thanks once again. Paul.

Absolute treasure of a little cafe Googled and found online, “breaky near me search” followed the reviews and tried this for first time as a birthday breaky treat. Freshly cooked delicious breakfast prepared with heart and soul! Lovely staff A**** highly recommended

We were working up the road from this cafe so decided to try it, ordered a big breakfast and a spam and mushroom bap, waited over 20minutes for the food to come, when it came the spam was paper thin yet a lot of mushrooms, the big breakfast came sausages looked anemic and weren't properly cooked neither was the bacon, needless to say we never went back and at £13.50, an expensive error!!!!

Excellent value: really well cooked and presented food, from good quality produce, served by very helpful staff. Good GF, veggie and vegan options available and staff very happy to accommodate any special requirements. Seems to get busy at a lunchtime but you can call and order ahead.

Cracking breakfast! Sat in for our breakfast today and it was amazing. Everything freshly cooked, with toast and tea. Service was fantastic and really friendly, we were made to feel welcome. Definitely be back for more wonderful breakfasts.

I’ve only ever been to Jamie’s place a few times but I cannot fault them one bit, decent quality service and quality food every time, if you’re ever around the Greetland area as it’s honestly really worth going too.

Why bother to cook bacon in your own home Jamie's sandwiches are amazing all his sandwiches we shall be regulars from now on cooked to perfection .and I found out that he also does take away sunday lunches so we shall give them a try .just the thing after a long walk around greetland

Couldnt find Jamies place for a while.however i finally found it below Nisa in greetland. Thank god i did. Good quality food and polite staff.

Tasty cheap eats. Quality breakfast & brunch. Fast & friendly service. The folk that own/work here always have a kind word to offer a tired parent. The tray bakes are a brilliant pick-me-up for a weary Mum.

Jamie is a nice bloke and the cafe has a great kinda unusual underground feel to it. Very nice food. It will quickly become too small as word spreads.

I came for a recent visit and the food was amazing. Its all freshly cooked and has very good prices. They cater for everyones needs and if you want something not on the menu jamie makes it for you. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk too.

Me and my other half come here to this little gem often. Its fab little cafe that makes amazing fresh food healthy too. An also cater to vegan an gluten free. The salt and pepper chicken is amazing. This place is a must visit for anyone in area.
