As in the area popped in for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised large breakfast as pictured £7.00 was cooked fresh and everything was hot unlike a lot of cafes. Sausage budget however was edible. I would visit again if in area

Genuinely the best cafe in west Yorkshire, food is incredible, great price and the owners are a credit to there business. I no longer live in Halifax but travel here regularly it's that good.

First time visiting and we will definitely be back. Absolutely amazing food. The staff are lovely and even brought our food out to our car. UPDATE: After visiting this cafe a few times we are continually impressed by the amazing food and lovely staff! Would recommend to anyone.

Coming up the North to see family and we all meet up to go for a breakfast as this was not to far away from where we was staying soon as we come in was really friendly with great manners the drinks come nice and quiet just within 5 mins the food was here 😊 all cooked and nice just one bit I was not to happy with was the omelette as was so much oil and was way to much cheese in it as it was all the pain the oven but everything else was great 👍

Took my dad here on a Saturday morning, great value for money and the food was brought quickly. Couldn’t ask for better really. (I had the vegetarian breakfast and my dad had the small full English - both came with toast, it’s just not in the picture)

I got a full English breakfast which included fried bread. The food & service were excellent.

The food come in exceptional sizes and well worth every penny.A must if you're reading this.

I really wanted to love this place. The decor is one of a traditional British cafe and I have to say looks awesome. The food however is very much aligned to greasy spoon. Sausages that have been cooked from frozen in the deep fate fryer, bacon that is a bit scraggy you get the picture. Not somewhere I would return to in a rush.

My wife and I were on a nearby stone carving course and staying in a Travelodge. According to Google, this was the only café open at 07:30 on a Sunday. What a great find! I had a large breakfast, and my wife a small. We also ordered takeout sandwiches for lunch. My breakfast, which, amongst the usual 'Full English', included fried bread and fried Spam. Most cafés now offer the inferior American option of hash browns nowadays. None of that cosmopolitan nonsense here. Just masses of great food. Neither I nor my wife needed the sandwiches until we were on our way home at 17:30. The sandwiches, a cheese and salad and a cheese, ham and salad, were once more huge and delicious. All that food and two teas were £20! My wife took half her sandwich to work on Monday for lunch. The service is spot on and fast, the staff are friendly and the café got fairly busy by 08:15. There is limited parking right outside the door.

Excellent breakfast (£6) and cup of tea (£1.20). Well worth a visit. Friendly staff.

Was ok, nothing to write home about. Tuna cheese jacket potato was decent but not enough Mayo on the tuna so was a bit dry. Food slightly expensive as well…

We are cafe owners ourselves but on our days of we always choose this place food is always good and the lady is lovely we came in with our new grandson today and she had to have a cuddle of him superb everytime

Excellent food and service every time myself and my partner visit. Never ever been and had any complaints at all. Super clean and comfortable with decent size tables a good menu choice and very friendly staff . Easy location to get to with some good parking close to it and around the area. Sunday visit this time and it was extra busy but they handle it with a very calm and relaxing nature. Well done and thank you keep up the fantastic hard work.

Great place, friendly staff. Food is okay, it is the sort of thing you could cook at home, but it is a family ran place so it's quite nice. I've been around 5 times and they have forgotten the drinks once, but they sorted this out pretty quickly. Would recommend :) I've had to amend this review. I've been here a lot of times now and I consistently see staff vaping inside, which to me isn't acceptable.

Came from out of town and found this gem. Excellent breakfast thank goodness we only opted for the large it was still too much. Every element cooked to perfection and generous portion sizes all served with a smile. We'll definitely be returning when we're back in Halifax
