Brilliant food and service. Parking outside. Fully recommend. Cafe is clean and bright. Good value for money. Will come again.

Super breakfast. Dropped in on our Sunday morning walk. Asked if we could sit in with our well behaved little dog. All ok so we indulged . Great coffee, superb eggs royale and friendly attentive service. Will definitely call again. Thanks.

I have visited this cafe a couple of times before this year, and the food has always been excellent. It is all cooked to order, so always hot and fresh. I visited with my brother and sister. We each had different dishes, and while they all looked good, I have to say that my Caesar salad is the best I have had anywhere. Masses of hot chicken and bacon, and the sauce was delicious. This would be enough to give a positive review, but I felt that the service today went beyond anything that could have been expected. My elderly sister asked for a peppermint tea (they have an extensive hot drinks menu), the owner apologised and said they only had the ‘Two Mint’ variety. My sister was quite happy with this. Some time later however, the owner came in with some shopping bags, and pulled out a box of peppermint tea bags, with the comment that he would have some the next time she was in. It must be 6 weeks or more since we were last there, and only our 3rd visit, so it’s not as though we were very regular customers.I feel that this level customer service is exceptional and deserves acknowledgement, so whilst I only very rarely post restaurant reviews, I felt I really had to show my appreciation. I hope they have the success they very much deserve.

Brilliant little cafe on the main road with good access to parking. Portion sizes are huge, super filling. Everything tasted great and was cooked perfectly. I especially enjoyed the mushrooms and hash browns - perfect! We asked for our Full English without Black Pudding or Tomatoes and it was no problem and it didn’t compromise on portion size either. All food is really well priced and great value for money. The staff are really friendly and the man who served us was lovely. Looking forward to going back for another big feed 😋

What a fabulous little cafe! Tasteful, contemporary décor, absolutely delicious meal cooked by owner David, delightful ambience, convenient location with parking directly outside. Fantastic coffee machine. An absolute gem of a cafe/restaurant, which aims for and achieves high quality food, drink and customer service. Wish I lived a bit closer - I'd be a regular. Thanks for making my friends' engagement meal so special.

Went along with family for a late breakfast/early lunch. Throughly enjoyed some very good quality food (especially the sausages) Friendly atmosphere with very helpful staff. Will defiantly be back to sample more of your very tasty menu.

My fiancé and I have had take out sandwiches from Verity's several times now and always enjoyed them. We also got jacket potatoes one lunch time which were cooked well and had lots of filling. Today we sat in for the first time and it was lovely. Service was swift, polite and friendly. We haven't been at any peak lunch or breakfast times so can't vouch for how they cope when it's busy which I think is always a good test of a place. The décor is very smart and all the tables, chairs and even cups follow the red and black theme. When the food arrived it was presented nicely and looked really appetising (wish I'd taken a photo but I was too eager to tuck in!). Everything was cooked nicely. We were asked if all was OK and thanked for our custom as we left. The place has definitely smartened up since it was Bailiff Bridge café. The manager/owners particularly were very friendly and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Heard good reviews so popped in for lunch, the food was excellent and will definitely be making this a regular place to eat
