Great food and service all at a reasonable price. Several Polish people eating there, one from Manchester. We ate off the Polish menu, everything was very good.

My wife and I popped in for lunch after discovering the restaurant online. Our expectations were high after having seeing the impeccable reviews and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant itself is cosy and atmospheric and the traditional, rustic Polish food that we were served was as good as any I have eaten. It's a real gem of a place and I'm sure we'll be regular visitors in future.

This was a great lunch spot for the family! Welcoming and helpful staff. The food was fresh and had a nice variety of options to suit all our preferences. I especially enjoyed how the chicken sandwich was full of colorful vegetables! We ordered everything on the kids menu for our kids to try and they loved it all.

Both myself and my wife have Polish parents and grew up eating Polish food, and my wife continues to cook the classic dishes. We also try out Polish restaurants when we find them as we love Polish cooking. From our experience, the lunch we had today was Exceptional, no other word for it. I had the meat dumplings (Pierogi) and my wife had the Langos potato pancake with beef stew (Placek po węgiersku). Both by far the best we have had. Going back soon to try more of the dishes, both Polish and from the Bistro (none Polish) menu.

6 of us visited for lunch last week. We are going on a cycling trip to Poland in the the Summer and thought we’d try out some polish food. Omg! If it’s anything like the food we had here, I actually can’t wait. It’s a funny little place, in the basement of an old terraced house in a residential area outside the town. But it’s lovely inside. There’s something a little bit special about it. Between us we had the dumplings, stuffed cabbage leaves, cabbage stew and a salad. None of it sounds hugely appetising to a british palate but don’t be fooled. It was all rustic, home cooked and absolutely delicious. We followed it with the most unusual rose coffee, a creamy latte style with just a hint of rose. I’m a straight up strong Americano with hardly any milk kind of girl but I actually really enjoyed it. Would recommend.

Booked in advance for a breakfast ahead of attending a football match at The Shay. Less than 10 mins on foot to the ground. Cafe was smartly turned out inside and the bar area led out to a pleasant and colourful courtyard. The staff were friendly and attentive. Even though I'd pre-ordered, my breakfast was cooked freshly. The first sip of the accompanying latte was beautiful. The bacon was thick and tasty, the sausage was local farm produce standard. Three sausages and three rashers too. Portobello mushroom and grilled tomato completed the ensemble, save for the tastiest grilled chorizo sausage I've ever tasted outside of Spain. Toasted sourdough bread and butter completed experience. Reasonably and fairly priced too, I will be back the next time I am in the area. Thanks all at Urban Garden Kitchen and Bar!

Bobs tearoom is always marvellous. Very beautiful walk to get there no matter where you come from and the drinks and cakes are always well worth the walk. A local hidden gem.
