The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Amazing food! Favourite Indian restaurant by far. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and whenever I have friends over it’s the place to order a takeaway from! Highly recommend :-)

We have had many take aways from here and recently visited in a group of 7 to dine in. The whole evening was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, particularly the lamb which almost melted in the mouth and was plentiful. The service was also second to none. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient without being over intrusive. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Had a lovely evening here with the football team, think there was between 10-14 of us and we were served drinks as soon as we came in. We did pre order our mains and at the last minute a couple of us ordered starters which came out very quickly, this wasn’t an issue for the staff which was amazing. Service was really good for the whole evening and everything was brought I us very quickly. I had the chicken korma and prawn purée and it was lovely, good size portions and everything was hot and seemed fresh. The restaurant was nicely decorated and seemed clean. Maz and the staff were all great and there was always someone around for anyone to order another drink or anything. I have had a few takeaways from here over the years and never had an issue, food has always come quickly and been hot. I think once there was a delay as it was a busy night but we were given some free drinks and sides so we’re very happy. I would recommend this restaurant and will be coming back with my family. After a long and painful period in intensive care, this restaurant has now closed. It had a good run and for a while was THE place to see and be seen, but alas no more.

Ordered online for a certain time. Food arrived on time, hot so didn't have to warm up. And was absolutely delicious. Every mouthful was very very tasty. Highly recommended The dishes we had was part of a set meal for 2

This Curry house serves amazing food every time...Highly recomended. Great service and very friendly. Worth every penny. If you want a good curry give Tandoori Nights a go....

Years and years of great meals. Hubby (Paul ) says it’s the only Indian (and he’s been hundreds ) that can make him a great jalfrezi phall hot. Great restaurant great food and really helpful friendly staff. I think Paul loves the anmol more than he loves me 😂

We decided to book a family Diwali meal which was booked over the phone. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely waiter who took us to our table. The tables were separated which we were a little annoyed about as this was not mentioned before. Another waiter came out and abruptly told us to be seated so we can order our starters. I explained we were waiting for one more family to arrive. Within minutes the same waiter came and said exactly the same thing! I was quite shocked and to be honest we should have left at that point. The rest of the family members arrived and a nice waiter took our orders. The food came out and dishes were mostly different however they had the same sauce and tasteless. Curries had big chunks of green chillies. The chicken curry was awful. The portions were small. We went on to order desserts but were given one menu between 14 of us! After a few minutes past, the same rude waiter appeared and asked us to order our desserts now as they need the tables. This was the icing on the cake for us, we paid the bill and left without ordering desserts. This is not how you treat paying customers. On top of that, the food is not great at all and we are shocked with these high rating reviews. Shocking service, shocking food and shocking communication. The only good thing was the young waiter that treated is with respect. I wouldn’t bother people with this place, we will stick to where we know!

2 of the bhagis were rock hard. The Dhansak was really oily, by the time I got the oil out there was about 1/2 left. It was very sweet, but had very little heat to it. The best thing about the meal was the Keema Naan.

We ordered takeaways from the lal qila ,both meals were absolutely delicious the flavours fused with spices was fantastic the lamb was so tender, would definitely recommend this establishment 👍👍
