Had a meal from there for the first time tonight and it was perfect, a great service from calling up to collecting with a great recommendation on what to try with the dish we had ordered. First class and i look forward to going there again soon, Chris.

This is a very good restaurant normally and perfect food . We ordered for 1st time on a Sat today and my partners Lamb Rogan Josh was every bit as good as always ... I had Chicken Korma as usual (being a bit of a lightweight with curry ) but it lacked some of the coconut creaminess that it usually has ... so it was a bit more spicy than normal. Though I was able to eat it ...it wasn't quite so enjoyable as usual .

Nice food but took far too long. Had we known it would take that long at the time of ordering we wouldn’t have proceeded to order. They shouldn’t have accepted the order if it couldn’t be fulfilled in the time stated.

Delicious food as always. Was late so tepid but delicious nonetheless.

Visited this evening. Walk in.. Very friendly staff/manager. Chicken madras garlic naan pilau rice chicken dhansak. . Plentiful portion size.. Both meals flavoursome and very moreish Highly reccomend.

Usually don’t have any issues however it was late and missing two items from my order!

We have never had a problem before but tonight’s order was really poor. The food was all cold, the Poppadoms were soggy, the food was bland and really greasy. :(

We waited approx 1.5 hours for below average food. We were so looking forward to this. The garlic naan had no garlic flavour & all was hardly warm. Also 2 items missing. I never leave reviews but this was a disappointment after a long wait

Had a takeaway here a week ago for myself and my daughter. I had the naga curry which was very nice and had a decent heat. Daughter had a pasanda which she also enjoyed. The sides were not that great. Small naan breads with little filling. Onion bhajis that were small. We also had the mixed kebab starter which was poor (very dry, no onions etc). Not sure I'd go back.

Superb takeaway. Ready for collection on time (20 minutes after order placement). I had the meal for one, wifey had the veggie meal for one. So much food - we were both stuffed. Cracking value and really tasty. Vowed to utilise this place more often. Recommended !!

Prawns ridiculously chewey, awful. Won’t be ordering from them again. If you can’t cook prawns don’t sell them. This is twice now. This time king prawn, last time small prawns. Really bad.

I've been a loyal customer of Taj Mahal for over a decade and they haven't disappointed me once. Such lovely service everytime I call and the food arrives piping hot on time, everytime. I would highly recommend the Jelfrazi they do. You can tell with the decades of experience they have perfected the dish. My only go to. Great work guys. Keep it up

Ordered from here with my family last night. We ordered the meal for for with an extra lamb madras and some more poppadomd. Delivery did take a long time but it was a Saturday night so that’s to be expected. Food was all lovely. Madras was rich with tender lamb and a decent spice. Tikka masala was really tasty and even the added vegetable curry that most places slop up with no care at all was really well cooked and seasoned. Will definitely be ordering from them next time and if it’s as good as that, this will be our new regular.

Very friendly delivery driver. Lateness didn't matter as it was only 5 minutes or so.

Food from here is usually pretty good but tonight it arrived cold and so devoid of spice you could feed it to a 5yr old child

We ordered at 8.00 pm, and had children eating. I rang the resturant as just eat said the delivery wouldnt come until 9.30 pm earliest. they got to the food to us by 9.00pm, probs before, was delicious, was all hot, one of best indians we have had. the roads are icy and we are really thank full for them deliverying quick and for the great quality of food. thank you everyone there!

Freshly made, the pastes are thick and not watery at all. All three curries are tasty, rich in flavour and as spicy as we expected (we requested extremely hot), generous portions, considering their prices, fair enough. Their staff was friendly too(we collected the curries by ourselves).Thank you for the high quality food, we will return for the next time.

Hi I tried this take away for the first time and was mighty impressed. The wait time was exactly what I was told and the food was piping hot still.The food itself was wonderful,full of flavours and good quality meats had been used.I have worked as a chef in my past and I was impressed to say the least.I will use them again and recomend them most highly. This place is well worth the money!

After waiting over 2 hours for our food to be delivered, the food was less than average and one of the curries only had three pieces of chicken in. Would definitely not recommend and we will never be ordering from here again!

Watery tasteless madras with minimal chicken. Half portion compared to others. Tub was only half full. Pilau rice could have been plain boiled rice. Bombay potatoes were better although still not much flavour. Onion bahjis were very nice. Overall very disappointed as this restaurant had good reviews.

Have ordered before as the last one before this was much better, one of the meals was a strange looking colour unlike the time before tasted horrible, the chips were cold, I the only nice one was the chilli one.

Delivery was decent, food was very mid tier for a curry. I’ve had curries from lots of places over the years and the chicken tikka masala has a low-ish quality sauce to it. I prefer it to be quite thick and creamy and this was near enough polar opposite. Probably wouldn’t order from here again.

It's not that anything was horrendous, it's just that none of it was particularly good. the prawns tasted a bit "shelly", the sauces were mediocre, the peshwari naan didn't have much filling or flavour. I enjoyed it tbh, because Indian is great, and if it was the only one available I'd go there again. but it isn't, and compared to the competition it just wasn't very good.

Meals arrived late and incomplete. No salad included with CT Main. No dip with poppadums. Madras tasted awful. No depth to the flavour. Used to be my favourite take away. Won’t be going back for a while. Also, JustEat are useless, asking for photos of the missing food. That is of course, their way of avoiding to refund the cost of the incomplete dish.

The king prawn purée had a lot of shell in it. The dupiaza was really oily and the samosa’s were soggy because they have put them i a container so the condensation ruined them. The Poppadoms were also stale 😫

Food was banging and on time will 100% be back.

This was always our go to take away for Indian, the customer service used to be superb as well as the food. This evening has changed my mind. We made an order for collection for a birthday get together. After driving 20 minutes to collect, we were told everything was in the bag and the receipt was read out to us. On returning home we found one of our meals was missing. We called to ask if the missing item would be brought out as we’d already made a 40 minute round trip and the missing item wasn’t our fault, but one of the restaurant to correct. We were told we’d be waiting for 30 minutes. We’ve now received another phone call arguing that they shouldn’t have to bring out our meal to us as it’s slightly out of delivery range. This is the restaurant’s mistake to correct and it’s ruined a birthday meal ruined now. Everyone else has finished and the birthday person is still without. Finally another phone call to tell us the meal is now on its way and some half-apology that we, the customer probably make mistakes all the time too and blamed the cashiers age…a mistake I could accept and forgive however how it was dealt with I cannot. One very late curry on now cold rice this evening. Very, very surprised as this place used to be amazing with superb customer service. A shame.

We tried this takeaway based on other reviews but was awful. Starter was terribly bland, dry and tasteless. The curry has some flavour but the meat in both was low quality, not marinated or tender. Rice was soggy. Would not recommend this place unfortunately. Wish we’d not bothered.
