Tandoori Nights in Arun

Great tasting curry but there wasn’t much meat in there (chicken) which made for a disappointing portion. Naan tasted stale and was tough, but they made a delightful sag paneer. So some good, some bad, which made for a mediocre review on average. Personally I won’t be ordering here again and will search for a better Indian take out near Rustington.

Slight confusion between the Just Eat menu and what was ordered. So that needs fixing.

Regularly order from here and never usually a problem. However received food today and the chicken cheese Rosa was half full and the chips were cold. My wife rang the store to explain and ask for a resolution to the issue, to then be met with a very sarcastic person on the phone who claimed to be the manager. He said I’ll give you a 50% refund and We will draw line under it as I’m guessing you’re not coming back.

Arrived perfectly hot and very tasty

Order was late. I wouldn’t have minded if this wasn’t categorically the worst curry I have ever ordered. The entire madras was overpowered by aniseed and was 80% oil. I tried to remove the oil with a napkin because it was so significant but the entire thing was inedible because it was literally like eating spoonfuls of oil full of aniseed. Naan was dry. King prawn was tiny. I try not to leave bad reviews as it can be a one off but this was shockingly awful

Food was hot and the driver turned up early so that was a bonus! Chicken Balti could of done with a bit more flavour but was still lovely, will definitely be using again.

Excellent service and food. Couldn’t fault it really. Lovely and spicy just how I like it and plenty of taste. Lager is brilliantly priced, could have been colder but that’s only my preference. Staff were very good and attentive. We loved the experience and will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the chicken tikka masala didn't taste good at all and was more like a coconut tomato sauce with a few pieces of chicken. Unfortunately, the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. The vindalo veggie, on the other hand, was good.

Old school Indian, recently does seem to have some erratic opening and closing times

We used to come here a lot when we were younger but it has massively gone down hill. The service was so slow it was almost laughable, we heard the guys on the table next to us muttering about it too. Then my curry had literally 5 small pieces of diced chicken in a sauce, no vegetables or anything, with a very small rice. To top it off they served the naan after we had all finished our mains and then said “why don’t you take it home” Awful awful experience and will never return.

2 hours to deliver from a restaurant 5 minutes away, food finally arrived cold

This has been our local traditional Indian restaurant/takeaway for years. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoy eating from here, the ingredients are of quality although somes days full of flavor and some days not so but that being said this establishment is still superior in comparison.

absolutely delicious. I have tried a few local since moving to Angmering and none compare on taste and quality to this. only negative was my nan breads being burnt but I didn't care after having the tastiest curry. I had vegetable korma and it just made me so happy lol. thank you

Arrived earlier than expected, as ordered and nice food

Host was ok but not welcoming & Friendly took 10 minutes to get a drink despite being only ones in restaurant. Chicken tikka starter came out & was just about warm☹️. Chicken Madras was nice but pilau rice was warm so had to send that back ☹️ will definitely NOT go back worst indian I've ever experienced.

I Do NOT recommend!We came to collect our food The girl in baggy T-shirt leggings socks and slide was rude and unprofessional no hello or thank you good bye just “ name” then I paid she said “wait” we sat for 15 min for 2 dishes that I had ordered on to phone to be collected at certain time. When I opened the lid it looked good but both ended up in the bin! Both looked very different and should have tasted different one might say! Both tasted like syrup it was so sickly sweet we could not tell what we were eating it was that bad we could not have one more spoon! I have no idea what was in there but I can tell you I will not return! Disgusting

Arrived early, food was hot but curry was watery and no much chicken. Watery sauce filled the plate.

Just curry in a sauce - Very poor indeed . Just say it as it is a curry sauce nothing added and nothing taken away - oops take away everything and you have a bit of chicken in a sauce and hey presto I will charge you the inflation prices and you have to smile.

Great food and delivery was early

Superb food. The mushroom and paneer side dish was outstanding.

I was notified that there was a delay with the order, but it was a stupidly long wait. Then the delivery driver didn’t bother to look properly for the house. The food had leaked oil all over the containers and seeped into them, the food was not hot and to be ho eat, it just looks like the sauce is oil. Not satisfactory

Food was good but vegetable curry that went with the biryani was very greasy and leaked through the containers and the bag. Chicken tikka masala sauce was tasteless but chicken itself was very nice. Loved how quick it came!

The korma flavour and texture could of been thicker

First time ordering here. Food tasted lovely, however arrived 15 minutes late, was barely lukewarm and had leaked all over the bag.

The food was cold and chewy wasn't nice dissapointed and thought I orderd a main but by mistake I orderd starter but I spoke to them and they would resend but I didn't have cash they wouldn't send a replacement on a kind gesture very unhappy

A bit disappointing, the positive, fast delivery, the food was nice and hot and the main course was tasty, the negative, tiny machine made samosas, thin dhal, small portions, I wouldn't order from here again myself.

We visited last night as a very last minute decision celebrating our sons 40th! We called ahead and although they couldn’t accommodate us straight away, we went in after an hour and they were brilliant. We were a group of 12, with children (fussy eaters) and 2 vegetarians. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic and the service was really lovely. Thank you for helping us extend our celebrations and finishing off a great day!

Food was excellent quality and generously portioned throughout but the best part of the restaurant here is the staff service. Friendly, attentive and really excellent at handling a larger group. Very impressed.

Tasty madras mushroom rice delicious best indian for miles

We had a delivery from this restaurant at the weekend that was excellent! It arrived within the 40mins & I have to say the best I have had…we had Chicken Tikka Korma & Chicken Tikka Balti….piping hot , freshly cooked, juicy chicken with pilau rice,Nan bread, popadoms that were thin,crispy & delicious…highly recommend

The warm welcome from Jo and Anna sets the tone for this establishment. The service is first class and the food is the best you will find, not just locally but nationally. Attentive friendly service from the first time I visited. I would not go anywhere else. No point.... Tables are spotless as are the toilets. This all adds to the great food and service par excellence.

Very disappointed. End of the month and payday. Considering how treats will become harder for some people with the cost of living. Seek elsewhere. So 5 of us ordered a take away delivery and we've had better microwave meals. The 16 year old of the group even said "what's wrong with this? It's tasteless" Food was completely tasteless and lukewarm The food you see on the plates is chicken curry and the other was chicken tikka masala

Visited the Tandori Nights with my three children and wife and we were served one of the finest Indian meals we’ve ever eaten, it was simply amazing. My kids had the Shashlik & lamp chops, my wife had the Garlic & Chilli chicken and I had king prawn dish and all were amazing 🤩 Wonderful and thank you.

We use to order form here once every week when we first moved here once the chef changed the Currys turned firm amazing to terrible plates of oil!! we have since stoped using this place but thought tonight we would try again befor a fair judgment and same like it use to be the older sounding lady on the phone messes up the order every time then tells you you are wrong doesn’t offer a solution or how to rectify the problem she simply tells you your in the wrong even if you tally up your bill and it adds up to what you wanted to order and what should have come instead of refunding you what was missing or sending it out priority she just repeats and reposted oh my god oh my god and acts shocked I can not express how many times this women has got my card numbers wrong and iv had to repeat it iv even said it as slow as I possibly can and she will still have to take two attempts at my card numbers. The over the phone service is terrible and has once again ruined our night but befor a quick judgement we have tried and tried with this place befor an honest review. All I can say if is you want your order messed up and meals you wanted misses or simply the wrong thing and no solution or refund or to be told you are wrong when you have added up what the bill should have been and your still being told your wrong then order from here! the lady on the phone should not be allowed absolutely terrible! And the Currys are like a plate of oil. I am only writing this because this is the 4-5th time she has ruined our order. This will be the last time we order from here and we will be spreading the word!

Had lovely meal, beautifully cooked. Rice and Naan very light. Chicken tikka masala, my favourite, always cooked to perfection. Lovely family restaurant, service excellent, pleasant, friendly. They appreciate their guests. Myself and friend love the food here. Its not easily seen being in Sea Lane, deserves recognition. Definitely 5*

We always go to tandoori nights for our Indian meals and often get takeaways from there. Food is good and service is friendly

Have regularly used this restaurant in the past and been very happy, this evening however was a different story.... the meal was not very hot at all and when we told the staff (who I might add were dressed in sliders, socks and sweatshirt???) didn't seem interested at all and basically told us we were wrong as it had been kept warm on hot plates in the kitchen. No offer of apology or acknowledgement, then when trying to pay was told cash only, and not at any point on booking were we advised this to be the case and so were not particularly prepared for it. Not a great way to spend my Mum's birthday - will not be returning! Oh and it appeared that people on another table were not happy for some reason too...

First time here for a takeaway recently. Staff were very polite and welcoming. The food was amazing, will definitely be returning soon.
