If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Have eaten in a few times and had a takeaway. The best food I have tasted in a long time. Highly recommend the chicken railway.

What great value for money here! We ordered a takeaway with delivery; the takeaway meal for 2. So much tasty food all for £30! Their meat was great. The best curry we've had in a while down south. I would have given 5 stars, but they said delivery time would be 40 minutes and the food arrived after over an hour.

Deshi Indian/Bangladeshi Halal food confirmed by owner. Very clean restaurant. Tried their chicken, lamb items. We loved it. Food was tasty and fresh.

So delicious we come here most weeks. It’s the best habit. Food is always excellent and service friendly and efficient. If you haven’t been try it now. You won’t be disappointed

Perfect meal again. This is our favourite restaurant. The food is always delicious and the welcome we get from all the staff is outstanding.

While visiting friends we all decided to eat out locally and they suggested Reema as they were familiar and comfortable with them. No alcohol is served but you can BYOB and there seems to be an arrangement with the "Tudor Pub" next door where you can buy a pint there and bring it in with you; best of all there is no corkage change on wine. I like the traditional way of eating where dishes are shared amongst diners rather than individual meals, that way you get to try more of the menu. We shared starters and mains and I must say, I was most impressed. The dishes were subtly spiced and the differnt flavours were layered and distinctive. This was unlike many London based restaurants I've dined at where most of the dishes tasted "generic". I like a little "heat" in my food and the chef that prepared the "Railway Tava Lamb" was a genius. It was a "slow burn" and and reached a "tingly plateau" that didn't overshadow the flavours. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient; this is one Indian restaurant that I will definitely revisit.

Great little find. Very attentive staff. The food was fantastic and perfect portion sizes....... Nice to not feel bloated after having a curry for once. The best curry I have had in a very long time. Will be back soon...... Probably every Sunday😀😀. Highly recommend this little gem.

We travel from Gatwick just to come here - it’s way, way ahead of other Indian restaurants in terms of both service and food quality. Super fresh delicious authentic dishes, we ordered ALOT and ate it all! I’ve tried some delicious homemade Indian cuisine that a friend made and this restaurant’s food comes very close to that, please don’t ever change your chef guys !

Great food with good size portions, friendly and focused staff. Really enjoyed it and will hopefully come back again sometime!

Food was really late, and a couple of bits were no longer hot

Really disappointed with the quality of the Onion Bhajis, they were greasy and undercooked. Everything else was just fine, which is a shame because the food here is usually really good.

Food tasted very nice but my chicken korma which is normally very creamy was extremely watery, I had to drain my plate of water to then continuing to eat!

We’ve been to Reema a dozen times and always had a great meal - 1st time to order a takeaway and this sadly was not of the same quality at all.

When they said 25% off I did not realise they ment the size of the portions. Also clearly they must have run out chilli/spices as I have had hotter milk. The naan was edible but only if you soaked it in a sauce or something take away the flavour of burnt.

What a lovely meal here again. Friendly staff and delicious food. A must when our daughter is staying. The food always seems very fresh and prepared and cooked with such care.

Delivered 24 hours early on just eat. Really tasty food, needed the microwave to re heat, take that as it was New Year’s Eve.

Whilst the food was truly excellent the limited space for comfortable dining and having to bring your own alcoholic drinks severely reduces the experience, shame, otherwise a perfect five star choice.

Late. Cold - heating it in the oven now. Lamb tikka the size of a starter. Pretty poor showing. Yeah, it’s a Sat night so guess they’re busy, but communication would help. Has been a good shout recently and quality was top notch for a bit - but after tonights experience I’ll be swerving for a long while and go back to the guaranteed quality of Shafiques. Shame.

Ordered a takeaway to collect. It was ready when they said it would be. Piping hot. Full of flavour.

Do not take allergies seriously. When we made the decision to leave due to this they became very aggressive and nasty towards us.

Fantastic food, though a little cramped inside, especially at the back. Alcohol isn't sold, however you're welcome to take your own, we did and was expecting a corkage fee but none was charged, a pleasant surprise. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.

I ordered my food from Reema & I'm sorry to say it has really gone downhill, the onion bhajis where extremely dry & overdone, the sheek kebabs were cold, the naan breads where soggy & stuck together, the rices where cold, the garlic murgh was also cold & very pale looking with very chewy chicken & the dansak & the other main dish where extremely small portions & only lukewarm, which puzzles me as we literally live 1 minute car drive away.

One of the best curries I've had in a long time, and we brought our own beer and wine which kept the bill down .

Food was declined and delivery early. There was bit of wood in my curry though, rather odd?

Our first visit to Reema was very disappointing. The merrango chicken had been cooked as separate ingredients and then combined. There were no tomatoes or mango pieces as described on the menu. It tasted more like mango pulp heated up and tandoori chicken and mushrooms stirred in. The garlic rice was delicious and naans ok. We were not aware that I’d did not have a licence but worked around that. But when the bill came and each condiment that came with poppadoms individually priced I was more than surprised, especially as we only used 2 of the 4 served.

Great! It was a late decision midweek when dinner plans changed, so didn’t think too much and went for a proper english choice of tandoori mixed grill and masala chips. It was brilliant. The masala chips are something else. Don’t feel bad or like a gammon cliche, try them. Reema has improved massively in the last year and is back on top of their game, and with the midweek % off deals it’s hard to beat. Thanks Reema.

Come on Reema , your usually 1st class . The last few weeks it's starting to become a bit hit and miss. Half a curry on one delivery, tonight's vindaloo very average. Hopefully a hiccup. The next one will be a decider. Please get back to what you used to be.

I’m sorry to say that my last order from the Reema was incredibly disappointing. I was notified by Just Eat that it was ready. 30 minutes after arriving to collect, the food was ready. When unpacking at home a main meal was missing. I called back and was told a driver would come with it immediately. In the meantime I tried one of the meat samosas…it was vegetable. I called back again to advise 5-10 minutes after the initial call and told they would be with the driver who hadn’t left yet. I waited a good 30 minutes before the rest of our order had been delivered, give it take an hour after being told our order was ready for collection. It put a real downer on the evening.

Lovely meal for my birthday. Quick delivery and it turned up hot. Food was very tasty as always :)

Specifically ordered for 20.15. The website said it was delivered but it was not. I phoned restaurant and they said they would cook again and deliver and when that eventually arrived it was cold so very poor service and won't ever use again especially as i only live half mile away.

Food and service great ,have to take your own drinks ,didn't realise this ,got a bottle from the pub next door ,£23 , next time we're take our own

These reviews are completely out of date.Two of us dined there on Saturday night and the place was empty.They do not serve alcohol and our meals consisting of ; Poppadoms/Madras /rice/bombay potatoes and a House special lamb plus onion bhajees and a naan came to £50.00 ...It's not difficult to mix pre cooked meats into a sauce ,and certainly requires very little skills .Sadly the majority of Indian restaurants serve that way .. try asking for the brown meat instead of white ( which I prefer ) when ordering a chicken dish and see how you get on .....you can take your own alcohol if you wish ...

Overall - great. Food hot, tastes fresh, good quality. Delivered on time as requested. Naan a little undercooked and doughy in areas only issue. Still one of the best curry takeaways locally for sure.

Before the business changed hands several months ago, Reema used to offer interestingly different curry dishes, at a premium price that was worth the difference. The new proprietors are not meeting this standard in any way. The modest meal ordered cost more than I have ever paid for a curry takeaway, and was disappointingly ordinary and boring. They no longer offer any of the special dishes that used to be worth ordering.

Terrible service food delivered an hour late and was cold and this was after I had to call twice to see where the order was. The person on the phone didn’t seem to be bothered that we had waiting so long and no apology. I will not order from this place again.

I had curry and biryani from this place and this the worst place I have ever had food. I am having heart burns even next day and I am a cook myself but this is the worst curry so far was very but no other taste they make it hot so there is not other taste needed. Not recommended

Had a fabulous meal last night there were 5 of us I do not eat much so didn't order for myself but shared the others food this was not an issue they provided a plate for me. My husband loves curries and has them often he said it was the best he has had in years. Friendly people on table next door even gave my huge a taste of his. Like the fact you can take in your own alcoholic

Unfortunately my meal was swimming in oil and very bitter. It was inedible.

It was really delicious. Hot fresh and tasty. The sag paneer was beautiful!

The food was good but a little cold. Ordered for 8pm and received message at 7pm to say order was on its way for some reason. However, it still arrived almost 10mins late! Poppadoms were missed but they delivered them within about 20mins.

I think this place has a new chef that needs to be gone before they lose more customers. Rogan Josh had no flavour, chicken tikka masala no flavour whatsoever, it used to be red but now it’s orangey colour ? And way too watery, no thickness in the sauce.. also found something in my rice which I have no idea what it is and managed to get a photo of it, it was about 5cm long and 2cm wide, hard and brown. Lost a very loyal family as this isn’t the first or second time this has happened

Not sure what’s happened since the new ownership feels like standards have dropped prices have increased and quality lower we have ordered delivery twice and the chicken is dry and amount of meat lower will not be ordering again seems like they treat people who eat inside with better quality

We ordered a takeaway from here with some trepidation after reading the recent critical reviews. The menu choice was substantially limited thanks to COVID, but every item ordered was fresh and delicious with the highest quality ingredients. Magnificent and memorable!

2 hours after ordering they delivered Cold Slop, Then would not refund nor call back. Rest assured will deliver back on their door step and send the whole world more photos. Stay away everyone, hmmmm really want to order from here. Wouldn’t feed my dog this let alone my kids. All back in bag and I’m looking forward to returning back on your door step. Not great curry. Used precooked chicken. This used to by our favourite Indian in the village. We have now had two very disappointing take always.

Pre ordered online at 13:30 as it was NYE - curry never showed. Worst thing is that they didn’t have their phones working to even call and ask where the food was. Awful service

Have ordered from Reema before and food has been good. However on this occasion I was very disappointed. Food delivered was luke warm. Had to be heated up. The curries were very oily. Lamb was tough and chewy and didn't look or taste like a Korai. I don't mind paying the higher prices charged at the Reema if the quality is good but sadly it isn't.

Never disappointed with the Reema, the food and staff are always amazing. Would recommend it if you like Indian food.
