Third time here and food is amazing, atmosphere is divine and staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend to others

We had coffee, tea and brownies mid morning. The coffee was good and the brownies were served delicious and served with cream on the side. I especially liked it that the cafe had the door open so there was a flow of fresh air and no cooking smells.

Best pub in Aberystwyth. Lots of real ales,beers and lagers.

What a great pub - after a long journey as the A470 was closed we found this gem. When we arrived hungry and thirsty after a 4 hour drive we were told there was a 45 min wait for food- as we still had a 2 hour journey ahead we asked if they could rustle something up quickly. No problem 2 homemade locally sourced lamb curries in no time at all. Which was delicious. Fantastic service - great atmosphere- a proper bustling real pub just how things should be hospitable. Highly recommended - we will be back again.

Dogs barking non stop, full of kids swearing. Jacket potato Tuna mayo I ordered just came as tuna with no mayo. Jacket was dry as a bone why they didn't put butter on it ill never no. won't be going back.

To keep it simple, Friendly staff, Great selection of food, Value for money, Huge portions, Very tasty food, Lovely setting, Amazing views. Add to your list!

Going on the strength of other reviews, we booked a table in the dog friendly area of The Crown. Having had and a 2 hour walk beforehand, a well deserved refuelling stop. Quite chilly in that area of the pub. Cheap lunch menu. Specials board more expensive. We had Scampi & fries, small battered cod & chips. Both came with peas. I had much higher expectations and was disappointed in the portion size(5 scampi pieces). Would consider giving it another try sometime, go in the evening and dine in the restaurant area. Pay the more expensive dinner prices, in the hope that the food would not be cooked from frozen and the portion sizes would be satisfying.

We came to Tenby for a family holiday. Candy the owner was so kind. The food was just what we needed to start our day exploring. Thank you

Myself and 4 friends spend a lovely afternoon in the White Lion today. Service was excellent, nice to have a pleasant chatty lady taking our orders. Food was delicious, puddings yummy, we all had a brilliant time, looking forward to our next visit, thank you all at the White Lion.

Great for the single traveller and was conveniently located for my buisness visit. Staff are really friendly. Some of ensuites are quite compact but good showers.

We have been going to Yr Eagles for years when we are on holiday in Bala. We went on Friday night, we loved it! The manager was wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed drinks and a meal. My smashed burger was so flavoursome ❤️ ( my son-in-law had a multi-storey burger 🍔 ! X3 I think 😆) onion rings were delicious! The others had ham, egg and chips they raved about there’s too! The cushioned pews were comfy 🥰our dog loved the place.We can hardly wait to return. Bendigedig pawb! 😁

Fab food and lovely spot - very nice drink and brunch baps. We had bacon and sausage baps, hot chocolate coffee and milk shake

Booked a table for Boxing day 2024. Turned up on time and found people outside as the place was all locked up. No explanation even though we saw the bar staff enter the booking details in the diary a few days earlier. Thank you to the Cross Foxes who found us a table at short notice
