Two The Square in Conwy

Popped in for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were lovely and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I had the Welsh lamb hotpot, my wife had the Welsh rarebit and our son had the tomato soup. We were all very pleased with our choices. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Myself and my wife popped in for two cheese toasties and drinks the staff were friendly and attentive, the cost was £23.00 which we found was average, and very tasty trouble was when I asked for salad cream which arrived in sachets and had a BBE 12/2022 not good,we were pushed for time so ate our food, when I went to pay I mentioned the BBE date to the young lady who just gave a blank expression so we payed and left shame as it seemed a nice place

Excellent food, nice atmosphere and great service. Fantastic breakfast and my daughter loved her vegetarian breakfast so something for everyone.

Called in for full welsh breakfast which was fabulous - proper quality ingredients, well cooked. Extensive menu, lovely atmosphere- can recommend enough.

Excellent home made food, at reasonable prices. Very clean and presentable establishment, with disabled access toilets. Friendly staff who are happy to make recommendations and talk through the specials board. Have visited once last year and had a lovely cooked breakfast, this visit was for lunch, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Conwy.

Lovely meal today at 2 The Square- good value for a really nice roast dinner with a good amount of nicely cooked veg. We had roast lamb and beef, new pot,roast pot, carrots, parsnip, leek ,green beans, broccoli and red cabbage and Yorkshire pudding. We visited here when we were in Conwy. We only had coffees but they were very nice. Very clean cafe. All the staff were friendly. Spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this cafe if you’re in Conwy.

We called in here and were very pleasantly surprised. Tea and coffee were good and so were the crumpets and teacakes. All of the other food we saw looked tasty. The staff were great and we would definitely recommend.

We were served half a cup of coffee each and when I asked the waitress for the cups to be filled, she brought a jug of hot water. My scone seemed pleasing at first as it was warm, but that was obviously to hide the fact it wasn't fresh. The inside was rock hard! A disappointing visit as the location is lovely.

Whist out for a quick lunch stop we found this delightful restaurant/ coffee shop all and ready to welcome the 5 of us. The welcome was lovely and there is a great list of food and specials to choose from. The food and drinks was served to all of us at the same time and so must say how great the food was, I had the Welsh rarebit and it was truly amazing and delicious. The lovely touch on leaving was when the Manager/ and or Owner asked how are meal was. Truly amazing thank you

We cannot praise this restauranr highly enough. The staff were welcoming, professional and efficient. We only went in for a quick drink on a day out to Conwy but stayed for a hot drink, then lunch and dessert. The standard of food was excellent and the portions were plentiful and excellent value for money. Whats more, the young lady helping with service didn't stop in between serving, she busied herself cleaning, tidying and washing down. It was a pleasure to eat there and we will certainly return next time we are in Conwy.

Top afternoon at the square in Conwy situated in the centre of the town by the castle. Had a latte and ginger iced cake top Welsh premier service from Sue and Kelsey highly recommended.

Lovely cooked breakfast and great service from this cafe in the centre of Conwy. Good decaf coffee too.

We popped in at lunchtime on a Saturday for a quick lunch. It was pretty busy but we had a table by the window. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had a pot of tea, cappuccino, a Welsh cheese sandwich and a fish finger sandwich. All were delivered quickly, and were generous. Both sandwiches were served with a dressed side salad and coleslaw. Good value for money.

Cafe busy with local honey fair taking place but had a table very quickly. Service was very efficient. Had cakes with our coffee and tea, and they were very nicely presented. Other items on menu looked lovely and reasonably priced. Will definitely return

The Square is positioned in the lovely area of Lancaster Square , Conwy ... you get a great view of the upper end of high Street , lovely spot. We live locally & have eaten at the Square for a few years now ... always a very high standard set by the Owner & staff , super friendly nothings too much trouble. On our last visit Sunday 3/9/23 .. We were served by the two ' Sue's' ! ... very friendly giving superb service . 👏 . I sat with my two daughters & we had a cooked breakfast with coffee & fresh orange juice .. WOW ! ... gets better & better .. super delicious .. my taste buds we're dancing around in my mouth .. its watering now as I write this review 😋. Give it a go you won't be disappointed. Mark .

Great central position for this little cafe. The staff were lovely and I loved that the tables had space around them rather than being squashed too close. They also had good options for dairy free and vegan.

Had breakfast there yesterday and I can say the Full Welsh Breakfast was brilliant 👍 very item in the plate was so fresh and tasty. The best cooked breakfast I have had anywhere.

We had a late lunch. We had soup which was excellent, the Panini and the salad special. Tickly recommend the avocado and Simonside with a sweet chilli and lime. The tea and coffee were also nice and the service was excellent.

We were here for a weekday lunch and at first were served promptly. I chose a quiche from the specials menu, which was nice but rather small - although it came with plenty of salad and bread, I would rather have had more quiche. My appetite was then tempted by the cakes in the display counter. However, after waiting a considerable time, the two busy waitresses had not so much as glanced in our direction. Eventually my partner had to get up to order the cakes at the counter. When they came they were just as delicious as they looked, although if anything, a little too cold from being refrigerated. These niggles add up to 1 star off my rating, but I would be glad to come again.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, the food was great quality and plenty of vegetarian options on the menu 😊

Visited this cafe for lunch after visiting the castle. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately - whilst the place was busy, we didn’t have to wait for tables to be cleared, as staff were very efficient with this. Likewise, we were offered drinks with minimal wait and given the option to order food, for which we did need a few more minutes - however, we were not made to feel rushed. The drinks and food were served promptly. They were all very pleasant. The paninis and accompanying salad were clearly made with fresh, good quality ingredients and the chips were cooked nicely. We would not hesitate to visit again if visiting the area, or recommend to others.
