In the past we’ve been to the Amroth Arms for a bacon roll and were planning on doing so today, but when we got there they’d hadn’t opened. We decided to try the Smugglers for a change as it was dog friendly. We both ordered the Breakfast Ciabatta, which was served very quickly and piping hot. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and the food was lovely. I would certainly recommend.

If you’re after a proper pub meal done right, the Three Horseshoes is a solid choice. It’s got that cozy, welcoming vibe where you instantly feel at home, thanks to the friendly staff who genuinely seem happy to have you there. The menu sticks to the classics, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. I went for ham, egg, and chips, and it did not disappoint. The ham? Thick-cut, high quality, full of flavor. The eggs? Cooked to perfection with the runny yolks lovely over the chips—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside—the kind you keep sneaking another bite of even when you're full. Service was quick and cheerful, and it’s the kind of place where you can just relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Whether you’re stopping by for a bite or settling in for a proper session, it’s well worth a visit. A great little spot that does simple food exceptionally well.

Had a fantastic meal on Friday. Curry night + food for kids....also chicken for the two dogs. Went one afternoon to get a beer but was shut....then the owner Heidi i think that is her name, said come on in and let us have a couple of beers. Love the menu, just the right balance. Thank you gor looking after us,the kids and the pooches. Would go back again. Worth the six hour drive. Heidi dont work yourself to the wall. Its a gold mine. A perfect balance. Find someone you trust and sit back a little. I have been in the same place. X Thank you.

Pretty lowly place. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, and the ladies there don't seem very keen to be working. Slammed my pint of coke down, then when I went to pay told me it's a minimum spend of £5 on card, which is utter nonsense. You could charge 50p if you wanted too.. So I got stung for crisps and nuts I didn't want. Old looking inside and in dire need of some love. Beer garden looks reasonable for a nice day.

We had Sunday Lunch here today as we were in the area for a weekend break. It was incredible! I had the Turkey roast dinner which was so tasty, and there was a huge portion of vegetables to go with it. My fiancee had the salmon salad and completely cleared her plate. I had the Key Lime Pie for dessert and she had the Raspberry & Champagne Cheesecake, neither stood a chance and were absolutely demolished. Service was brilliant too, can't recommend enough!

We had the most delicious fish and chips here last night. Batter was perfect, light and crispy, fish fresh and the mushy peas were yum. The lady serving was lovely and helpful, and we sat outside watching the sunset. A great place for a family meal and we were able to sit outside with our little dog

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment last weekend for a Sunday lunch, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint in any regard. The venue itself is truly a hidden gem. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a wonderfully inviting atmosphere, with a homely and relaxed vibe that immediately makes you feel at ease. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind or a cozy spot to enjoy a meal, this place hits the mark perfectly. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. The Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, offering a depth of flavor that is all too rare to find. Every component of the meal was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, clearly showcasing a commitment to quality. For anyone who appreciates a well-executed Sunday roast, this is certainly a standout. Finding a venue in North Wales that serves such a satisfying and delicious Sunday lunch can be a challenge, but this place truly exceeded expectations. It’s a perfect spot for those in search of a memorable and fulfilling dining experience. I would highly recommend this establishment to others looking for a top-tier Sunday lunch in a welcoming and relaxed setting. I’ll certainly be returning in the near future.
