No 25 Bar and Cafe in Pembrokeshire

Probably the best food I’ve had to eat in Tenby. And also the best value too. Tenby is, for me, a tourist trap packed with lots of eateries many of which are overpriced and serving poor food. See some of my other Tenby reviews. This cafe however is a welcome break from those experiences. I was dubious about visiting here given my other overpriced underwhelming eating experiences in Tenby but we decided to give this place a go. It’s cost and welcoming inside and we were greeted and seated in seconds. It’s dog friendly as most of Tenby is but that was also a positive. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the breakfasts we got was great. Very happy. This is my new go to spot in Tenby where I know I will get good food without being ripped off in a tourist heavy spot.

We found this lovely place on the second day of our three day break in Tenby - we ate there twice. What a super place! VERY friendly staff and the service and food were perfect. Such a lovely bacon sandwich, too! Thank you!

We visited Tenby this weekend and visited Number 25 twice. On both occasions we had delicious breakfasts. Two lovely plates of freshly cooked , local food and sourdough toast. Great coffee and orange juice. Fabulous service, absolutely recommend.

My wife and I used to have a holiday home in the area and frequently visited no 25 for their excellent breakfast. On thurs 3rd October on a day trip to Tenby we called in for breakfast and were very disappointed. The fried eggs had solid yolks, the bacon was thin and rock hard and the toast was small thin rock hard and virtually inedible. The mushrooms appeared to be tinned but hard and virtually burnt. If the lady owner who cleared our table and took our money had bothered to ask on either occasion if everything was ok we would have voiced our opinion but she did not. All in all a thoroughly disappointing experience. It is a shame that what used to be so good has deteriorated to such an extent.

Such a welcome in this cafe every time. Staff are always smiling, helpful and happy. Food is absolutely delicious. Cannot fault this place one little bit

Visited today for lunch, linda had the jacket potato with a salad garnish which consisted of 1/2 a lettuce leaf, an assortment of wafer thin pepper's plus 1 pice of carrot which was so thin it only had 1 side, we had previosly visited when the quality of food was much better.we feel that the new owners are putting profit against quality. Prior to completing my meal the seagull decided it was for him and dived onto my plate to remove the meal. Quite dangerous as it coukd have hit me in the face. Time to do something about these predators who cause chaos. Unfortunately we will not return to this cafe.

Very friendly and smiling staff who made us and our dog welcome. We had to wait for a table but it was well worth the short wait. A varied breakfast menu catering for all tastes. The food was delicious and well cooked. Living locally we look forward to returning soon!

A lovely welcome from Candy and the staff. The paninis and jacket potato with prawns were delicious and the freshly-baked scones melted in the mouth. Reasonably priced; we'll definitely go again.

Friendly staff. Partner enjoyed his sandwich. Had salmon and scrambled egg on toast, nice, but needed more salmon. Dog friendly, Sidney even had a few dog biscuits.

Visited last year and rated it 5 stars. Luckily, some things don't change. Really attentive and pleasant service. Food spot on, particularly with bacon and sausage to die for. Well done to all the team

The usual attentive staff, serving fantastic food and drinks. This place is always busy and well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which seems to be a rarity these days. Keep up the great work guys and will visit next time we are in town.

If you want a HOT cup of tea, this isn’t the place to visit. I would describe this experience in a coffee/tea shop as my worst yet. 2 cups of tea took ages to arrive and then, when it did, it was barely tepid!!!! I heard others told that they couldn’t order lunch yet as the kitchen had to be ‘changed over from the breakfast rush.’ Isn’t a kitchen a kitchen regardless of breakfast, dinner or tea time? And did that affect the temperature of our tea?

Great surprise visit, enjoyed our visit good food and drinks at a the standard slightly more expensive then anywhere else “Tenby tax” price. We have never visited here before but after stumbling across this place we will definitely visit again, the only reason for a four and not a five was that one of our orders were not cooked at the same time as the others so by the time the food came everyone else had basically finished, it wouldn’t stop us visiting again as appreciate these things can happen.

The food is just amazing, simply the nicest breakfast I have ever toasted personally. Even when you go abroad, nothing beats a good old brunch.

We had a great family brunch here with grandparents and grandchildren. Everyone, including some quite fussy eaters, ate really well. Very good value for money, staff extremely friendly and ready to help. It was comfortable and has some seating outside, great for sunny days. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Tenby.

I went for lunch and at 15:00 they told me that they had stopped serving food. Why stop serving food at 3 o’ clock?? A member of staff told me off for thinking about what to order and sitting at my table without ordering. Most staff were friendly except one or two who looked like they wood love to be anywhere else.
