The Peppercorn Restaurant & Grill in Pembrokeshire

I had a 4 bean chilli with nachos which was very tasty. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well cooked. The special for the day, salmon cajun was also nicely done. Certainly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Service was very good food could be better.

Visited this place for lunch on bank holiday Monday.pleasant waitress showed us to a table.we chose med veg panini with side salad and side of sweet potato fries. very tasty.and reasonable price.it is down a side street from the main part of town and seemed to be busy

Whilst on holiday for the week was looking for a bite to eat one evening. Glad to have found this little gem, not the biggest menu but certainly good value for money and tasty food! The children's menu is great and friendly staff, highly recommend 😊 ps if your a steak lover I would definitely go for the peppercorn & brandy sauce 😍

Found The Peppercorn on Trip Advisor and so glad we did. Narberth was very busy due to the holiday makers. It was cold and wet outside and we welcomed the warmth from the radiators inside. The staff were friendly and polite. There was a good choice of food for different tastes and budgets. We both had steak, my wife was hesitant as she liked hers well done but not cremated. Both steaks were lovely. I had the peppercorn sauce with my steak which was very nice. My wife asked for French mustard and was pleased they had it as so places do not serve it. My wife had the house red, which was good for the price. We will return again.

About midday when I went, it was not too busy, the food was great and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend this place for a midday meal. Well done to you all.👍

Last minute Thursday night out to celebrate my birthday. 3 out of the 4 of us had starters, a good choice available & tasted great. For mains 2 of us had the special that evening, pan fried sea bass. 1 had the no frills steak. 1 had burger with all the trimmings. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Cocktails & drinks great, staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Excellent place to eat in. It's actually bigger inside than it seems from the outside. Lovely warm service and atmosphere. It's family friendly and the staff will do their best to make you feel satisfied. The grilled chicken dish (peri-peri flavour) is very good. But the the marinated cod dish was smashing. Mains portion sizes are generous. We're going there again tomorrow.

We visited the peppercorn this evening after a walk through narberth town the weather has been pretty wet so the town and restaurant were very quiet. However that did not take away from the delicious meals we were served. The pork medallion starter is truly a flavour bomb and I’d definitely recommend it. The chorizo and port sauce works perfectly with the dish. I Had the Welsh Cowl special for my main course and all I can say is wow! A truly sensational dish packed with nutrients and flavour. This is wales’ national dish and it’s hearty and warming perfect god a cold day. The bread served with it was freshly baked and warm. Honestly the food gave me the same feeling you get from a memorable home cooked dish that you’d mum/ grandmother would cook for you. Wonderful restaurant and the staff are a credit to the team.

Menu in the window looked appealing, although it looked quiet or closed ( Eating early 17.30). Very nearly walked on, but we stepped inside. So happy we did. went out for a lovely meal with my friends to celebrate a birthday! Really loved the atmosphere and the service was great. The staff were nothing but helpful and were patient with our big table!! We were a table of 12 and the whole order was correct, i was really happy with my main and i can say for many of my friends that they were also really happy with their mains. one thing i’d say i was slightly disappointed with was the cheesecake as it was not set yet, (i’m sure it was just a one off!!) . Overall really lovely night, thank you to everyone that served us 😊

Awful service, took 45 mins for mains which we PREORDERED days before. Burgers were dry and chips were cold. The gluten free meal was inedible and cheesecakes were disgraceful, it wasn’t even set and was a puddle of cream cheese. Will not be eating here, revisiting or recommending to anyone in the future.

Went for my father in laws 70th birthday, the staff were so lovely they even went out and decorated our table, food was amazing, out of 11 of us not one had any complaints, 👍👍

Having eaten with the Little Peppercorn before we were excited to visit the restaurant itself and it didn't dissapoint! By far the best steak we've eaten and the sweet potato fries are a must along with peppercorn sauce. Can't wait to visit on our next holiday!

Food was lovely and we really enjoyed. The staff could see our daughter was being a bit impatient so brought over a Peppa Pig book for her to read. It made no difference but the thought was there 😂 The best place we have eaten from in Narbeth.

Stopped here for lunch on Friday, have had a quick look from outside a few times but never been in. My daughter had recommended it on one of her visits. I am so glad we went in, lovely friendly service, good lunch menu with specials all reasonably priced. The place is much larger than we thought from the outside, rustic setting, really nice. I had Cajun salmon with roasted Med vegetables an a jacket. Delicious it was and fab to have a something on menu other than salad or chips. My friend had loaded fries, the load was an 8 oz rump steak with homemade peppercorn sauce. Can thoroughly recommend this place and we will definitely be back on one of our regular visits to Narberth.

Four of us had dinner here last Friday. The pub was not too busy and therefore was lacking in atmosphere. The boys had steak pie which both said were average and nothing special. Haven't been here since last year as we're not local and haven't had much chance to visit our caravan much this year. Our server was lovely, very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Spot on. Our food was excellent and piping hot which is key imho. Many places these days seem to serve luke warm food which goes cold towards the end. I had the pork medallions to start, the best starter I've ever had, really tasty with chorizo and port sauce. I had the piri piri chicken with a hot topping and jacket potato. It was steaming hot when it came, I've had jackets at other places that barely melt the butter. After a chat with it server about having well done steak, we were assured it wouldn't have any pink meat which my wife really doesn't like, we've been assured this at some other restaurants and they've failed and served it not much over medium. My wife said that her steak was absolutely perfect for her, well done but still juicy. For dessert we had the cheesecake, it was one of the best we've ever tasted and not bought in, but made on the premises. A big thank you to our server and the chef for a great evening with superb food cooked perfectly, presented perfectly and served perfectly. Keep up the good work. See you soon.

We absolutely love going to the Peppercorn and we were pleasantly surprised to find it was an Italian night. I had both my starter and main from the specials, however the polenta wasn’t great. Very soft and soggy.

We visited twice during a week's stay in Narberth. Really enjoyed ourselves. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food with a number of unusual dishes. Recommend you pre book as a lot of people turning up "On spec" were unable to get a table. Update....We again stayed in Narberth 12 months later (Sept 2022) and paid another visit to The Peppercorn. I'm happy to say that was still just as good. I had the steak and pesto salad and it was fantastic.

We called on the off chance we could get a table for us and our little dog. We were told that they don't normally allow dogs in the evening but as it was a Tuesday and quiet it would be fine. On arrival, we were met by Emma who looked after us extremely well throughout our 2 hour visit. The food was simply lovely. Although the chef, Cerris, was rather new to the place, she did a cracking job. Easily the best dining experience we've had so far.

Called in on a Friday night and really enjoyed the food. We had the burger and salmon specials and they were delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive and would definitely visit again.

Absolutely superb, what a place, loved the vibrant decor outside and the local artworks inside made even having a drink waiting for our meal hugely entertaining and interesting. The place is deceptively big inside and all tables and chairs nicely spaced to give each table and the floor staff plenty of room and in doing so create a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The food itself was exceptional, the 16oz rump cooked to medium rare perfection, delicious high quality olives, the calamari was crisp yet melted in the mouth and the halloumi fries were like nothing I've ever tried, crisp yet light, the fries must be tripple cooked as these were crunchy and flavorful all served with a crisp fresh side salad. Warm bread and oils with balsamic topped it off meal and were equally as delicious. Can't recommend this place enough. Brilliant.
