The best restaurants serving British food in Wales

First time eating here. Took my nephew and brother (both haven’t eaten here before either) for lunch today. Staff were incredible, welcoming, polite and just natural and normal. The food was lovely, and we all enjoyed the experience. Simple, quick and tasty. That’s all you need for lunch. Thank you.

We went here to end a trip away to the Brecon Beacons. It was a fabulous way to finish! The food was absolutely delicious. A real treat. Would recommend for a special occasion. The staff were extremely attentive.

Only had drinks here, very good beer and service in a very nice pub.

Stopped in for a drink on our way home and stayed way longer than planned. Met the owners and just the friendliest group of people. Such a great spot and a highlight of our time in northern Wales!

Me encanta este lugar para la comida fresca e incluso los sándwiches son buenos. Hoy sin embargo fue un poco decepcionante, el café vino después de la comida, al igual que las servilletas y el cuchillo y el tenedor, la comida y el café eran buenos, pero mi café solo dos tercios lleno? ¿Cuando comenté la respuesta fue que la señora solo entregaba la comida? Ella mencionó que tenían poco personal, pero no asumió ninguna responsabilidad por el tema, simplemente nos dejó. Realmente espero que esto no se convierta en la norma, solo estropea un buen regalo.

Last twice we've stayed at Llandudno we've had tea here. Excellent all round. Worth booking a pod outside!

The Queen Victoria is under new'ish management (Nov '24). But has kept the same friendly team of staff, plus a few new staff, who all go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your visit, whether it is just for a drink or two, or dinner. We had dinner here a few weeks ago and both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Darren & Emma, Dave, James, Kieran, Abi, Ebony, Maz & Tia. Keep up the great work. Great lil find and the food was lovely! Quick service and the food was top quality at a decent price! Would recommend if you are nearby.

Quick call in for a drink and a sit in the sun whilst book hunting. Lovely clean pub, menu looked lovely although did not eat on visit. Sure, to be a busy place during holiday seasons. Clean toilets. Seating in and outdoors. Staff friendly and service fine.

We visited for the 1st time on the 8th of May for our 10th wedding anniversary. Can't fault it staff were lovely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious 😋. We will definitely go back soon
