Fabulous food. And wonderful service.

We were there recently had the Christmas dinner and it was fantastic also crumble coffee and mince pies. The staff were lovely and dog friendly loved it

Called in was staying in a local hotel attracted by the sign out front displaying range of beers then had a three course meal from there festive range The food was well presented cooked nicely and tasted well I had turkey wife had shin of beef and starters and puddings spot on the beer and cider was in tip top condition the staff were courteous and helpful Overall food beer and service was spot on couldn’t want for better perfect find on a cold windy night

Absolutely superb family meal. Proper fresh food with REAL chips. They also offer blue light discount and the ales are in great condition.

Staff extremely helpful and obliging got there 50mins before no problem food and menu explanation was great plus food was wonderful 👌

Had buffet food here! Was absolutely dreadful! And the clock in the building displayed the wrong time! I highly recommend no one comes here!

Came twice for a Lunch for a light and a full Meal. Excellent quality with fresh produce cooked on the premises. No pre-prepared food. A pleasure to find a resataurant who has this policy. Well done Chef.

Hi Iain. Just a short note to say thanks. I know its all in a days work for you. However, for my daughter who is Type 1 Diabetic and gluten free (coeliac), it was invaluable to have contact before. Your responses gave confidence and though it was a busy evening, you made sure you gave me time. Oh aye, the food was great too. Thank you. There's no better compliment than to say we will return.

Food was really nice....one member of staff in particular needs to work on her attitude though if she's going to be entrusted to deal with paying customers.

Expensive overpriced drinks and smell of chip fat coming from the kitchen clings to your clothes and hair.

We both had the fish and chips which were a decent portion.Amelia who looked after us was very nice along with the rest of the staff.Will definitely go back to visit on our next trip to llandudno

Poor. We had the worst meal in llandudno. Very disappointed. We always come here every time we come to llandudno always a good meal. As we go to llandudno at least three time's a year. But this time not very good. We had the Rabat Stew special and Curry which was Balti both were very disappointing. We complained about the Rabat Stew brought a new one out but was the same. Never came over to see if it was ok . Disappointing Kim Foulkes

Just called in for a beer with my brother who is on holiday, and while I have eaten here before when everything was really good, we didn't have a meal this time. Lovely visit, friendly staff, and fantastic beers. Well worth a visit and we always enjoy coming here.

Lovely nice atmosphere. 2nd time in the day. Went mid afternoon then late evening. Only had drink. The menu indicated a good variety for everyone’s taste. Seen several large parties eating and enjoying themselves. Prices seemed expensive BUT when being served to people, they looked amazing. The roast looked especially nice.

We've frequented this pub many times and I can remember when Welsh Rarebit was on the menu, as sadly it isn't anymore. In the past, we've visited and a tall fellow made an exception with the chef to make us a meal but couldn't get it recently. It's honestly one of the nicest Welsh Rarebit we've ever had, even my missus made a face I've never seen before! Please think about adding it back. Lovely drinks, we tried the Strawberry cider (I think it was Lillies?). Very nice indeed. Great atmosphere, will visit each time we are here.

Came on a Monday. Able to get a table straight away. Food was really good, burger needed cooking more though. The homemade chips were amazing. Nice little pub

We had a very good early dinner on a Thursday evening in October, with delicious cider, a chicken and mushroom pie, and a cheese pizza. I would definitely go back

On the 22 sep we had a meal which was very poor the soup was warm and when the main meal came which it was a Sunday dinner that was warm to the gravy was like water we have always been they before and the food has been lovely we paid 65pounds for two meals we won’t be going back my partner had a coke which was 3 95 and I had a can of water at 2 75 for water we both wear disappointment

We haven't been here for years but glad we stopped by for a welcomed break during our walk.

Been going to this pub for many years and seen it change a lot, currently it is my favourite place to go for any food. Atmosphere is always lovely and the prices are always reasonable and well worth the portions.

When we went in the Albert it wasn't too bad for people but after being in for about 30 mins it was packed, I had Beef Sunday lunch a delight to eat, we did think of having a Dessert but so full after the main meal. Ring and book a table if I was you. Hope you can enjoy the food as we did.

Great food , lovely selection and service

me and my partner stayed in llandudno from 1st September to 8th September 2024 with our little dog Lexi we came accross this pub on the back street lovely place dog friendly we ate there twice first we had beef lasagne and fish and chips very nice,second time we shared beef chilli nachos,definitely would recommend.

Nipped in for a pint looked at the menu and booked for a meal that evening no trouble booking. When we arrived we were seated straight away, ordered drinks which were brought to the table, then ordered the food. There's a small wait as the pub was really busy. When the food arrived I was not disappointed my partner had roast of the day which was turkey he upgraded to have cauliflower cheese (good choice) and I had the Albert pie which was chicken and mushroom (to say the least lush). We were hoping to have a sweet but were both to full to even share one. We will definitely be back

So what to say.... I started my meal with the soup of the day (cream of Caulflower) with really thick brown farmhouse bread with welsh butter cubes, the soup was stunning really enjoyed it, it was lip smacking good! The main meal.... Well the rump steak,mushroom,tomatoes on the vine, diane sauce and triple fried chips were amazing the steak was cooked as requested rare and seasoned well and the chips looked like railway sleepers they where massive and so crispy and soft, I dashed salt and vinegar on them and went to town on them but to my dismay I couldn't finish them all unfortunately. I drank 2 pints of Kronenburg to wash the food down. My partner had a halumi and Mediterranean vegtable wrap with coleslaw and railway sleeper chips which she said was stunning and she washed hers down with a pint of full fat coke! The atmosphere was quaint and very appealing to a village man like myself and the service was brilliant to boot. The only thing I would say is the drink prices are a little steep, £5.70 a pint of kronenbourg.... it's Wales not Manchester.

Tooooooo slow, we spent over 2 hours waiting for all of our food, annoying!!

A lovely pub, kid friendly dog friendly a very good selection of ales, lovely outdoor seating booths and inside is a very nice traditional style pub. Lovely friendly and helpful staff and good food from 12 -9pm

I have been going to this place for 5 years. I have never been treated so badly today 3rd August 2024 I had to pay for a meal never eaten. Should been short crust. And because I complained nothing was done.and you g girl talking about me because I complained. I will never go a again

Had visited the Penderyn distillery and the staff recommended this pub for food. I ordered the Hake fish and unfortunately it was uninspiring. Was it fried in reused oil? This is supposed to be a gastro pub but the food i ordered was nowhere near acceptable.

Beautiful pub with really excellent, varied cuisine. The staff is extremely lovely and very friendly. You are treated as if you were in your local bar, even though you are looking in for the first time. We've been there twice now. Always happy.

This is probably the best place for meals, and a pint in Llandudno, the first part of this review was 12 months ago, and I gave it 5 stars, however I have just recently visited, and the food was nowhere near as nice, triple cooked chips, were rock hard, and the beef on the beef dinner, was like chewing leather, upholstered seating dirty shabby in need of refurbishment, all in all gone downhill, will not be returning.

Lovely atmosphere and great food. Had Albert's pie, chips were proper homemade and thick and vegetables served separately were so full of taste 😋

Called in for a meal on our way to the train back to our caravan. What a good find the food was excellent, friendly staff and service, would definitely recommend this place.

Can't fault the food and the service at the table was excellent. The service at the till when we attempted to pay was very disappointing.The abrupt lady behind the bar shouted you need to queue here to pay!!!We had to queue up whilst she served behind the bar for sometime. Eventually we paid where there was no customer service asking how our meal was like previous visits to the Albert . Sadly the good staff turned up as we were leaving.

Came here to hide from the Welsh summer weather and watch the football. Food was delicious. I had the day’s special - a John Dory fillet with mashed potatoes and mussel sauce. Fresh and superb. My partner had the crispy Welsh lamb - also very good. Recommend!

My favourite pub in the area. Atmosphere is always friendly and the pub is always clean. Staff are helpful and always friendly. Highly recommend but eating book a table it's a popular place to be

Visited today for father's day with my elderly father and ny brother. Waited 50mins for our food to arrive, and when we got it it was cold, and my beef was like rubber, couldn't chew it, the roast potatoes was cold, and gravy was like dishwater, plus not much of it, we left it . Would never return as we had a bad experience here 2yrs ago, but struggled to find anywhere as all was booked up, but wanted to take my dad out.

Amazing food, perhaps a little pricey but worth every penny

Great pub with fantastic staff and customers. Could not have been a friendlier place for us to walk into. Our dogs were very welcome and every passerby to our table stopped for a pat. Great place to sit and relax. They even change the channel to let us watch the 20/20 cricket.

Visiting Ladudno with family enjoyed our meal well recommend . Lovely staff thank you very much .

Food stored outside uncovered behind mems toilets, not very higenic wouldn't eat here, photo taken from the men's toilet, women in charge didn't want hear anything and was incredibly rude when addressing a serious situation

It’s a casual restaurant, but it’s surprisingly good! Meals will be served until 9pm, after that only drinks will be served. I ordered Indian curry and tomato pasta, both tasted good, and the wifi in the store was also very fast. The main price is not expensive, recommended!

Great place for food and drinks. We use this place for all our works drinks. Staff are always friendly, food is cooked fresh and great. Can get busy during holidays, so if eating I would recommend booking a table. Lovely little cabins outside, which are cosy.

Standard British pub, show live sports and has outdoor seating front and rear so good if the sun out

The place was slammed for the holiday weekend. They took our reservation. Sat us down. Took our orders. They then returned to inform us that their menu was incomplete. It took almost two hours for food, my plate was cold. I don't think it is always like this, but it was quite disappointing.

Absolutely awful the service was miserable, having booked we waited an hour to be told that part of our order was unavailable, when we said we wanted to cancel there was no apology from the management and we still had to pay for our drinks. We were on holiday and having read the good reviews we were more than disappointed with the wait and the lack of service!!

Only one vegan option on the whole menu (tomato pasta - not very exciting) food quality average. Would love to see at least 2 vegan options on the main menu that the chef has actually given some thought too!!! Also starter and dessert option! Service was good.

Lovely reasonably priced food, friendly staff with great service

Seabass was nicely prepared with "Greek fennel"and new potatoes. The lasagna was a nice Welsh take on the dish. Not much herb or spice, more like a meat pie with some tomato and mushroom mixed in with cheese on top. Simple, but tasty. Very large serving. Nice mixed green salad on the side. I had the still cider which was on the dryer side, a tiny bit yeasty and funky. We were in on a rainy day before 6 PM and the place was pretty much empty. It is a friendly, comfortable and cozy place.

Did no t have the food but was well looked after by the staff and the beer was spot on. Will defo be back.

Went with my parents while we were staying in Llandundo for the weekend. An absolutely stellar meal. Everything came out hot, despite it being a busy night. Quick service and excellent knowledge of the bar menu from staff. I had the twice cooked pork belly, and would highly recommend it! One of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Don’t miss out if you’re nearby

Went for Sunday Lunch, hadn't booked but just about managed to get a table for two, Wife had a " Small Plate" Turkey, this turned out to be a quite large plate!, I had the Sausage and Mash, both meals were really nice and delicious, drinks were very reasonably priced, lunch a tad bit expensive with Sausage and Mash at 16.95, but the portions and how tasty the meals were, made them worth it, staff were great, all in all a very enjoyable lunch all round............

If you like everything except your meet frozen it will make a great Sunday dinner spot. All there other food is delicious but the Sunday dinner is not good shame they stoped the carvery

Had a very pleasant visit today. The staff were warm and welcoming, and it was great to see that dogs are welcome in certain areas. The food was far better than I expected - creamy mushrooms with ciabatta was full of flavour, and utterly moreish. The lamb pita didn't skimp on lamb, and my friend's steak was cooked to perfection. Really great place, with a nice atmosphere and lovely staff - check it out.
