Been going to the Albert every time we come to Llandudno always a good choice on there menus good selection of wines & spirits & very good choice of hand pulled beers

Popped in for lunch today with the family. Service was fantastic, lovely ladies running the ship like clockwork. The food was absolutely delicious and incredible value. Thank you, see you again soon.

Went for Sunday Lunch, hadn't booked but just about managed to get a table for two, Wife had a " Small Plate" Turkey, this turned out to be a quite large plate!, I had the Sausage and Mash, both meals were really nice and delicious, drinks were very reasonably priced, lunch a tad bit expensive with Sausage and Mash at 16.95, but the portions and how tasty the meals were, made them worth it, staff were great, all in all a very enjoyable lunch all round............

If you like everything except your meet frozen it will make a great Sunday dinner spot. All there other food is delicious but the Sunday dinner is not good shame they stoped the carvery

Had a very pleasant visit today. The staff were warm and welcoming, and it was great to see that dogs are welcome in certain areas. The food was far better than I expected - creamy mushrooms with ciabatta was full of flavour, and utterly moreish. The lamb pita didn't skimp on lamb, and my friend's steak was cooked to perfection. Really great place, with a nice atmosphere and lovely staff - check it out.

Popped in for a family pub lunch, 7 of us. Didn't have to wait long for a table which was lucky as it was busy and we were a big group ranging in ages from 9 to 70. Food was delicious, prices reasonable, service was good. The beers here are decent and they do a loyalty card for cask beer and cider. My first visit but I'll be back again I'm sure.

Always a cracking meal at The Albert! We've been coming here for years and have not once had a reason to complain. 5 Stars. MARCH-24.. on our last couple of visits, we have noticed that as with most places, the prices have crept up. I'm not sure if it was just on our visits, but I'm sure that they used to have a lunch menu. Now seems to be just a main menu. Food still veey good, just not quite as good as it used to be.

Lovely tasty food, friendly staff, best place we could find

Nice bid place, sort of an L shaped room. Nicely decorated with a mixture of flag stones, wood and carpet flooring. Very well lit but not overpowering. Camra discount accepted with camra card. Staff were friendly and polite. Dog friendly. Beer was good. Enjoyable visit.

Called in yesterday with a group of (30) friends we did reserve seating excellent food at good prices .

Great dog friendly pub with good food. Lovely experience from the moment I walked in to when I left. Highly recommended. The Clogwyn Gold hand pulled was a class act too.

Excellent food , great beer with plenty of great cask choices, the only difference is that they have stopped doing a carvery, but are still doing Sunday lunch.

Friendly staff, comfortable dining and great food. Great choice for Gluten-Free too. Pre theatre meal also recommended before going to Venue Cymru.

The two stars are for the quality of the pork in the roast and the reasonable Yorkshire pudding. The rest of the meal was very poor and lazily presented , the highlight being the rock hard carrots , straight from the bag to a minute in tepid water, see photo. We stopped cutting off the roots a while ago said one of the staff . What do people do with them I asked. Cut them off and leave on the plate she said . Two stars for the young lady who didn’t charge me for the lime and lemonade, which tasted like a pint of lime cordial with a dash of lemonade.yuk.overall not value for money.

I think the customer service here from the lady they severed us was only worth the 1 star. Am not sure if it was the injury to her hand or the fact you hates her job! We was treated in a rude and dismissive attitude! After waiting almost an hour for food the standards wasnt what we expected fridge heat chicken in a hot curry broth. The lady who swapped it was sympathetic then when it was replaced it was just dumped on the table in silence not a word was spoken to us. We felt unwelcome by the staff. When paying I dont think they like the word "Cash". A big fuss way made then the changed was slammed on table while the lady who looked to captain the pub darts team looked away. If this is how you think treating customers you think arent local your mistaken I've lived in deganwy for over 15years dont let the accent foul you! Dont worry we'll never return we wasnt welcome to begin with!! Going forward serve food at the right temperature throughout and dont take your attitude out on the customer!

I've been to plenty of dog-friendly eateries but this one had the best food by far. Lamb breast was amazing and the service was very attentive and wonderful. Whoever manages the Google business page please pass on the love from us to the staff that were working on our visit.

We have been here before, after booking a table for a family get together, we arrived about 15mins before our booking time. There was a warm welcome and a considered option to sit in a quiet area. We were given the menu and a chance to order our drinks within a few moments. We explained that our other party members were on their way to the pub and that was not a proble with the staff. There was no hurry, relaxed atmosphere . When were were joined by our other family members we again were served with drinks, time to choose our food and given time to talk. When the food arrived it was piping hot, plenty of it and served by the lovely staff. We followed the main meal with puddings and coffee, again brought to the table with good service from the lovely staff. I can honestly say a lot of eating venues could learn a thing or two from here. Received my meal chips were roasting when I came to my pie it was cold in the middle spoke to staff they took my meal and microwaved it when it came back out it was all red hot but soggy I paid just under 16pound for a meal I ate about 3 chips and 1 piece of broccoli.. the lad who served me apologiesed but didn't offer part payment refund or new meal . My partners meal was hot but under cooked his roasties and veg were hard in the middle

The worst Stilton and brocoli soup I have ever had. Stringy pieces of brocoli like wallpaper paste. Sent back. Hallumi fries rather large but tasted good.

Excellent pub. Large varied menu. Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. We always pay a visit when in town.

Booked the place as it supposedly dog friendly! This is not the case! (Our dog is a lurcher so not a big scary dog). We were told we could eat outside if we wanted! it was below freezing. The website does not mention this at all when you do your booking. No apologies were given, we walk out straight away I wouldn’t be able to rate the food. However the situation could have been handled a lot better by staff no excuse for that. Ended up on the other side of town in a very nice little restaurant.

Took my parents here on my birthday for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. On arrival it was reasonably quiet, but we must have just beaten the lunchtime rush, as within half an hour of our arrival most of the tables were taken. Staff were friendly and helpful and the menu had a good selection of dishes. Parents both ordered a smaller dish, dad had fish and chips and mum had lasagne, with a side order of chips. Both meals were still plentiful on the plate and were more than enough for either of them. I had the steak burger and chips. The burger was rather dry which was a shame as the rest of the meal was delicious. The chips were something very special, huge doorsteps which made you wonder just how large the potatoes actually were, but cooked to perfection, crispy and browned on the outside but beautifully fluffy on the inside. Some of the best chips I have ever tasted, though again probably far too many of them on the plate for a lunchtime meal. We shared dessert, 2 between the 3 of us, well it was my birthday! Dad had the toffee apple crumble with custard which was delicious, but the total star of the entire show, which eclipsed even the perfect chips, was the most enormous piece of sticky toffee pudding I think I have ever seen. It was liberally coated in toffee sauce, and I had asked for cream instead of ice cream. The cream was in a little jug, but to be honest, I really didn't need it at all. The sponge was so moist it literally melted in your mouth. I was full after a couple of mouthfuls, but there was no way I was not going to finish that pudding! I did eventually have to admit defeat, but it was only the last few spoonfuls that completely beat me. With the 25% off food offer for January and February, this was a lunch very much worth repeating, in fact we'll probably be back next week 😁! All in all a perfect birthday lunch, thank you.

We had a Sunday roast dinner which was a plate full of delicious food. Definitely going there again.

First visit to this establishment- it did not disappoint. I booked via telephone to Maddie , our table Was ready - where our host Stuart showed us to outdoor/ covered seating area . Dog friendly - both inside and outside . Great selection of drinks , served with a friendly smile . Menu was varied and looked exciting . The break between starter and mains was perfect . Showing that it was all Cooked freshly . Waiting service was attentive and appropriately timed . The food we ordered was presented very well, hot and delicious. Generous portions and super flavour combinations. Well Worth a visit , booking during seasonally busy periods is advisable . * Tried the Seasonal Menu in January 2024, opted for The Carvery Pie , Chips with sprouts, carrots, and red cabbage . Service was excellent , however this meal fell very short of what I expected , the pie was shop bought -Not homemade ( or appeared to look and taste that way ), little or Nothing resembling any type of meat filling , pastry was generic processed type , chips looked like frozen steak style chips , and gravy had hardly any flavour. Overall it was not value for money or good quality in anyway .

Hearty home cooked food, and lovely welcoming staff. We ate here on a Tuesday evening and we were surprised to find it open having had bad experiences in other local restaurants in the past who can't be bothered serving food past 7pm mid-week. But we were pleased to see several other groups of diners - it obviously has a good reputation. Our food was great - one of us had a lovely home cooked venison pie with chunky chips and loads of gravy, while the other had a lovely home made vegetable lasagne with garlic bread. The beer was lovely too. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Well done The Albert, we will definitely come again.

Exceptionally quiet needs a bit of a face lift.

Really nice / clean & friendly staff. Called in on the Friday all tables were reserved, so booked for the Saturday. Food was superb & well presented & lots of it. I couldn't finish which is rare for me. Price was very good.

Just had dinner for 11, this included young adults with complex needs. Food was amazing, everything perfect and arrived piping hot. Staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. We will be looking forward to seeing you soon. Thrive Knowsley CIC

A first time visit, and it won't be the last! We all had a lovely meal - locally sourced, freshly cooked food, beautifully presented by friendly helpful staff. The specials menu had a great selection of different dishes to tempt, and the puds....mmmmm! Even the coffee deserves a special mention! Well done, Albert team.

Called in before the fireworks on Sunday. Great pint of Guinness and a nice glass of wine got us off to a good start. Both had the beef lasagne which was really tasty. Enjoyable couple of hours.

Great staff, super helpful without being over-attentive. I needed to change our booking and they were happy to accommodate that and even apologised for relocating us! the food was truly excellent, we had stroganoff which had a mild spicy twist and the steakburger which was clearly made with top quality beef. Not your average item. All in all a great meal on a very busy Friday evening.

Come here relatively regularly, as a Student in Bangor I get over to Llandudno every few weeks, always make sure to eat here. Food is always superb, highly recommend the sandwich + soup combo, as well as good guest ales. Excellent scheme in which the purchase of 5 cask Ales/Ciders leads to a free pint also keeps me coming back! Definitely worth a visit when in Llandudno. Decor is warm + cosy, with a nice family atmosphere and always a nice place to shelter from the rain!

Not been in for a few months but we couldn't find fault with our meals as usual. One of us had the belly pork and the other the faggots both meals were tasty, hot and plentiful. No problem with service or attitude of staff. I would agree with others that the place could do with a refurb as I noticed the carpet black and worn. Plus the loos definitely need an upgrade. Always a good choice of local ales which is a bonus for us. One thing I don't like is people with dogs allowing their dogs to sit on the seats outside. We were pleased to see a notice asking that children be kept under control at all times. We have always enjoyed our food here so will be returning again.

Decent place for a drink and food

Booked for an evening meal. Both had the beef lasagne which went down well. Without doubt the best pint of Guinness on offer in Llandudno. Staff were great. 5 stars from us thanks.

Outstanding quality and service. My wife and I, being past pension age, now have much smaller appetites, so it was a delight to find an establishment offering a selection of smaller portion meals for the smaller appetite. We both chose the roast of the day, which on our visit was turkey. Given it was supposed to be a smaller plate we still struggled to finish, thank goodness we chose small as we both hate waste. The meal itself was truly delicious. Plenty of thickly sliced turkey, 4 large roast potatoes, and fresh veg, whole carrots, broccoli and peas, superb. The service was exceptional and Evie's infectious smile throughout service was a true delight. We must also mention Jackie who was also delightful and a true professional. That said, all the staff were first rate we didn't get all the names sadly. We should also note, in closing, that our smaller roasts were £10:25 each, which was a bonus and the "Clogwyn Gold" cask ale was delicious. My wife also enjoyed her tea and fell in love with the tea pots. We will certainly return so... see you there.

Booked for a table of 4. We were placed next to a very rowdy table, adults and children, which i wouldn't normally mind. But, after half an hour of them getting louder (swearing) and the children running around (health & safety issue with the hot food service), we did ask to be moved but found out that the table were departing soon, so stayed where we were. I would have expected a staff member to politely ask them to quieten down, for the sake of the other diners, but this did not happen. On to the food, 3 meat roast dinner, tepid at best, not much meat for the price, lumpy mash potato and had to ask twice for the cauli cheese, which was supposed to come with the roast, from passing staff!!!! Service wasn't brilliant, although the lad who served us tried his best under trying circumstances. Dessert was nice!!! We've always enjoyed coming to The Albert as a treat, sadly a birthday treat ruined!
