Kitchen 50 Six in Conwy

Popped in here yesterday for some lunch whilst out and about in Llandudno. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. We didn't have to wait for a table as it wasn't very busy, but did have to wait around 40 minutes for food after ordering. The staff, two girls specifically were very unfriendly and unprofessional. We sat next to the counter where you order and pay. We saw, and heard them repeatedly making derogatory comments about customers. This was a very uncomfortable experience, and then to top it off, when our food finally arrived it was substandard to say the least. Safe to say we will not be visiting here again, or recommending this place to anyone.

No estaba demasiado ocupado había un montón de mesas vacías, no se informó de ningún retraso, pero nuestras comidas tardaron... un tiempo en salir. La comida era decente cuando llegó. El personal era cordial. Todo el lugar estaba limpio.

The place gone down Hill .waitef over 3/4 hour for cheese toastie and chips and the bacon was like the sole of your shoe .if you have couple of hours to waste i would highly recomend otherwise go elsewhere

Decent dog friendly place ....food no frills but hot and tasty to the table.. also quick to receive meals and staff all pleasant..

Nice modern looking cafe bar. Popped in for a cappuccino and a black coffee. The caramel shortbread was very nice. Service was a little slow due a large order in front, maybe a second person on the till would be good especially when they are making drinks as well. Toilets down some steep stairs, but it did have a baby changing table. Does smell a bit downstairs and by the pot washing area, maybe some air fresheners would help. Plenty of seating inside and some outside too.

¡Nunca decepcionado! Visitamos Kitchen 50 Six cada vez que viajamos a Llandudno y después de haber ido durante muchos años. Fuimos dos veces para almorzar esta estancia y tuvimos comidas encantadoras en ambas ocasiones. Teníamos una mezcla de sándwiches y patatas chaqueta, todos eran frescos y sabrosos! Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Llandudno, es tradicional!

Took my family in for lunch today and wished we had gone over the road. Miserable staff, no check back on tables, no cutlery, brake brothers food, terrible milkshakes. Even the table next to us returned their food.

Vivimos localmente, así que intenta probar muchos lugares. Entramos y al principio pensamos lo moderno y elegante que era, creo que restaurante de delicatessen de Nueva York. Sólo unos pocos, pero Llandudno no está muy ocupado esta semana. En muy poco tiempo, nos dimos cuenta de que era uno de esos lugares con atmósfera cero que te chupan toda la alegría. Demasiado tarde para nosotros, habíamos ordenado. El servidor caminaba por ahí como si no quisiera estar allí, apenas un gruñido en respuesta al ordenar. Cada uno había pedido el desayuno. El café con leche descafeinado fue el más débil que he probado, apenas por encima de un vaso de leche tibia. El hachís y la salchicha estaban muy calientes, el tocino y las judías, casi piedra fría y todo nadando en aceite, no es una buena experiencia en absoluto. Ya sabes, el tipo de desayuno que te sientes peor después de comer. ¿Por qué no dijimos algo que podrías preguntar? Bueno, no veíamos el punto realmente, no podíamos haber esperado un resultado positivo y nos habían chupado toda la alegría en ese momento y solo queríamos que terminara. Añada a eso los cubiertos más baratos que pueda imaginar, con un tenedor tuve que volver a doblarme en forma y se puede imaginar la experiencia que tuvimos, No es de extrañar que no había nadie sonriendo allí, especialmente no el servidor.

Place had a funky smell when we walked in, not a nice smell. When our drinks were being made we were given a jug of milk that was just out on the side, no fridge and no idea how long the milk had been standing there. Ordered a brunch and a cheese and onion toastie. Brunch was piping hot but tasted of greasy fat and my husband was actually sick within two hours. My toastie was not great at all. Cheap bread, not much cheese and burnt fried onions. Not very well presented either, just slapped on a plate with some very tired limp lettuce. Long blonde hair on the side of my plate as well. Young girl serving was very nice and polite.

Visited here in a trip to Llandudno last Tuesday. So good we went in twice 😊 Originally had tea and coffee here in the morning and was so impressed we went back in for lunch later the same day. We were looking for a dog friendly cafe to have some beverages upon arriving and the staff here were fabulous. Couldn't have done more and the tea and coffee were decent and competitive priced also 👍 We came back for lunch later, but we couldn't find anywhere else that was better in town. Lunch here wasn't amazing, but it it was tasty and decent value. I had the vegetarian chilli and enjoyed it. My sister had the soup and sandwich deal and enjoyed that too. I would definitely come here again.Thanks for the good meal, good coffee and great experience ❤️

Worsest place to eat they can't cook their food properly they've got bad drinks they wash their dishes in the bathroom the knives and forks were greasy

I visited this place today, after a 40 minute wait, the food was not great. I ordered the gammon, egg, chips and peas. The egg that came with my meal had a compleatly snotty raw yolk, the gammon was like a brick, and was served without a steak knife making it virtually impossible to cut through. This was served with a pile of mushy peas which was not stated on the menu. To make matters worse my Pepsi max was served flat. It was overall was not worth the wait.

A Cosy Café that’s Perfect for Lunch Popped in here on a wet and windswept April day, looking for a family lunch. We were NOT disappointed. This is a great location with a lovely cozy and chilled vibe, which really adds to the dining experience. Smashing coffee too – which was a much needed treat! Had a few things, which were all lovely, but it was the all-day breakfast which I especially enjoyed. Perfect portion size, piping hot and quickly served by the friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and I will be back here for sure another time, when I’m back in the area!!!

Amazing food again decided to have the pepperoni pizza. The had the beef burger and my child had the sausage kids menu absolutely amazing.

Me and the misses popped in for some lunch while we were shopping in Llandudno. Got to say, the food was out of this world. The food was excellent. The staff were also excellent. Friendly, polite and helpful. Didn’t have to wait long for the food. This is now are new favourite place to come for food in Llandudno. Definitely will be back

Called in whilst out thrifting in Llandudno. A really pleasant find this Cafe. Staff nice and friendly. Food was served quickly and excellent for price. I would highly recommend a visit. Great place.

Greggs was closed, so this was my back up. Just had a couple of Latte's, plus a Bacon sandwich. £11, so wasn't cheap. It used to be a busy and populat cafe, but quiet nowadays.

Pre pandemic the food and service were spot on, post pandemic it has gone downhill in both areas. I use to look forward to eating here but after my last visit I shall be looking for somewhere else to eat.

Fish and chips for three - pretty disgraceful really. Small frozen piece of fish, tasteless, frozen chips, tasteless, best part of £40 with one slice of bread and butter ordered as extra! Very very poor. Long wait at till as well as waitresses were making drinks instead of taking food orders

Popped in on Saturday as I do every Saturday very busy but staff were well mannered. Noticed the new lightening on my favourite table number 1 in the window :)

Called in for lunch and was not disappointed, with welcoming staff ( Thank you Tia and your team for making us welcome ). Food prepared freshly , and served in good time. A dog friendly place - which is always a positive. Great cosy atmosphere, and place to unwind .

Had lunch here, food passable but greasy, Cutlery not washed properly ,busy when we arrived, toilets filthy including the floor on the way to them and the kitchen .

We had the dog with us so we had to find a dog friendly cafe. They welcome was very friendly and the explanation for where we could sit with the dog was very good. We both enjoyed a tuna may jacket potato, which was served with a small salad.

Food was mediocre. Wouldn't use again. Staff were friendly though

Best breakfast we had all week at Llandudno

Had a delicious fish n chips and my husband had yet again a superb lasagne and chips. We return here every time we holiday in Llandudno and it never disappoints. Great staff, always clean. Can highly recommend.

Love this cafe . Only tried it this week while staying in Llandudno for couple nights. Lovely roast dinner . And breakfast the next morning was excellent . Quality is good . Lovely clean cafe and great staff . Definitely recommend.

Always come here, food is always hot and good, and above all the staff are bloody great

On arrival tables were dirty. They never got wiped. All 4 tables next to us were filthy covered in crumbs and beans and new guests had sat on them. Food was ok but had to send one meal back. The cafe itself isnt clean but the toilets and the stairs were the worse. Staff were pleasant hence the 2 stars. Wont be returning.

Excellent food and value. Looked good from outside so in we went. Good food choices really strong coffee. Clean and very friendly staff. Not long to wait for food, very well cooked to pretty well spot on. Recommended.

Out of all the eating places in this vicinity this is my favourite! Great service. Quickly served with my order. And good well cooked hot meals. Always busy. Free WIFI.

I initially went over the road for drinks (NOT Kitchen 50 Six) after the staff were dithering about and taking their time. So I came out and went into Kitchen 50 Six. And I'm really pleased I did. Went in for take away drinks and initially greeted with some staff sat at the back, on their mobile phones not really wanting to serve. Then out popped a really pleasant young lady. Service with a lovely smile, a really pleasant attitude and nothing was too much trouble. I asked for her name which is 'Paige'. Paige even went to the trouble of emptying the fridge, without me even asking, so she could get out the coldest drinks I asked for. Provided drinks holders and lids for the hot drinks. With a smile! Which to me makes a big difference to the usual 'what's your order, thanks for your money' attitude we have recently encountered elsewhere. I believe Paige has recently joined Kitchen 50 Six so hopefully with her genuine enthusiasm, pleasant attitude the enthusiasm of the other staff may improve and the reviews on this establishment may hugely improve! Promote Page! Paige - You are a credit to Kitchen 50 Six and keep up the great work! Thank you. Would we visit again - Definite Yes - because of Paige - NO we are not related, friends or are we sponsoring her in any way! We have never met before!

Came here on one of my family days out, the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was amazing, i couldn't reccomend this place enough, definitely a food place to go to again ❤️

There were about 3 occupied tables, the rest of the place was empty, 2 tables were leaving. Very young staff members sluggishly clearing tables and completely ignoring us. I asked someone to bring me a menu, and they said 'in a minute' and continued clearing tables one item at a time. As we waited one couple leaving advised to go elsewhere. We waited almost 10 minutes, and finally got up and left.

Food is okay. Reasonable prices. Quick service. Recommended.

Sorry to say but the food wasn't good. Baguette was stale and chips were the frozen kind. Latte was lukewarm. Portion size decent. Would not return.

Food was good. Staff lovely, service a bit hit and miss with cutlery, but overall nice place.

The servers didn't smile, didn't ask us if our meal was okay. I had the fishcakes, they were a little bland and dry, and there was mold on the tomato as a part of the side salad, they give us a refund for it, which is but as someone in the catering industry, it is not acceptable to serve a customer molding or rotting food, the interior was nice, a little dark though. Do not recommend.

Food was awful! Place looks great, young staff appear lost, have no idea what to do so frequently ask a senior member of staff what to do but are pleasant. Nobody will ask you how the food is mid meal as they already know it's awful! I had a flying frisby yorkshire pudding with pva glued mash, I have no idea how you can go wrong with mash but they aced it. My mother had a microwaved lasagne not baked as they like to advertise. My brother had cardboard pizza and husband had uncooked chips with his burger!

We returned to Llandudno for our summer holiday this year and it wouldn’t have been complete without a return trip to Kitchen 50 Six - we ended up having lunch there 4 of the 5 days we were in Llandudno! The food is excellent and the menu has a good range of options. The service from the team is great and the food is always freshly prepared to order and also ready quickly. A proper little gem and I have no doubts we’ll be lunching there again when we’re next in the town!

Called in for a all day breakfast like we have a few times but today wasn't a good day for us meal aired cold beans toast no colour customer service was poor dint even ask if everything was ok over priced for the quality of breakfast would not be going again

Feel sick. Food was appalling. Ordered a wrap what came was a roll of slop! Salad tasted days old, only slithers of dry chicken. Wrap totally made wrong, if you picked it up the contents splodges out. Had to remake the wrap myself while trying not to let the food touch the dirty table. Unenjoyable experience, unpleasant food, untrained staff. Just awful!!

Been here a few times and the food and service are generally good. Food is usually out in a good time, 15-30 minutes, even when place is fairly busy. Staff are pretty pleasent and helpful. Ideally located in the centre of town.

Went to kitchen 56 in Llandudno on saturday.no wonder you pay for the food before you receive it food was horrible plus staff don't listen I had an all day breakfast.it was all cold the plate and egg was full of black grease toast unbuttered and fried bread was a crust the sausage looked like a dried up mummy s finger .my sister asked for a bLt sandwich got a toastie so got a burger with onions asked for no chips came with no onions but with chips so dry couldn't eat it never again came to £42 for this disaster

Lovely staff, been here a few times now. Everything is just simple and easy, from ordering to service, it's spot on. Food is well priced and portion sizes are great.

We went in for coffee, and we passed this restaurant many times but never went in. To wr walked in, and it was better than I thought. We just ordered drinks, but I was listening to customers order food. The breakfast sounds amazing. One lady ordered a full English breakfast, and when it was delivered to her and her husband, it was awesome. We shall return next time we visit Llandudno.

Price-wise, amazing. Taste-wise…. Very salty and oversized oggie that was in need of some fresh veggies. Instead, got tinned mushy peas and cold oven chips. But, you get what’s you pay for - very worth the price considering location and portion size. It just won’t win any awards.

Rubbery, limp and overpriced food. Rubbery yet greasy omelette. Toasted sandwich was not toasted, just some grated cheese sprinkled in between slices. Plenty of other better places to eat in Llandudno.

Popped in for breakfast nice clean tidy place Food was hot but they served it on very small plate not much room to move your food around only one piece of bacon was over done , egg was hidden under beans and tomato’s and yolk was hard they put toast on same plate and in the beans and tomato’s so a bit soggy tried it wouldn’t go back there !

Best for breakfast in Llandudno. Two great sausages, fried bread, toast the full monty. Tried a couple of places and this was defintely the best breakfast we had.

Quite a quirky set up - clearly thought has gone it to it. We only wanted a lunchtime snack so ordered Jacket Potatoes with fillings and a side salad. The potatoes were large and beautifully cooked (crisp skins and not mushy inside) plus the side salad was crisp and fresh. The staff were very hospitable too - all very 10/10.

Just excellent. Cracking breakfast everything cooked just right, washed down with an excellent milky coffee.

We visited this restaurant on 22nd December in the afternoon. When my partner and I arrived, we noticed that virtually every customer was wearing coats, hats and jackets. This restaurant was colder inside than it was outside. This is a marvel in itself! When my partner asked the waitress why there was no heat on.. she replied “Ohh are you cold? because I’m warm running around” our question was meet with relief by other customers smiling in acknowledgement, that we had asked. The place was dirty, tables weren’t properly cleaned from the previous customer use and the place was in general disarray. I ordered pizza with fries and my partner ordered the all day breakfast. My pizza was cold and the cheese on it was like chewing leather. The fries where over cooked in oil that hasn’t been changed in over a week. I know this because I’m a chef and it colours and taints the taste of the fries. My partners all day breakfast came with over cooked bacon. The waitress reached across the table and knocked over a boing hot cup of tea that my partner somehow managed to stop tipping fully over. This could have resulted in a serious scolding accident. To add insult to injury, the waitress brought blue industrial kitchen roll and sat it on the table for us to mop up the spillage. It gets worse!! This waitress was clearly and heavily dosed with the cold. Her nose was running like a water top and her eyes were red and blotchy. Several times she wiped her runny nose on the back of her hand and not once washed or sanitised her hands. She just continued on serving customers. As bad as the food and the service was .. in a time of Strep A, Covid and Winter Flu pressures, this in my mind is unforgivable. Reckless endangerment of customers and their health. This waitress should not have been allowed by management to be on the premises while sick. God knows how many customers will be made ill over Christmas by this blatant disregard for human health over profits. Furthermore, the near close scolding incident was in part due to the waitress being ill on duty. This is a breach of Health & Safety at work. The lack of appropriate hygiene protocols also compound’s the issues on this visit. I would not recommend this restaurant while these issues go on unaddressed.

Apart from being very cold inside, we ordered at the counter and waited for food. We returned a dirty cup for a clean one. The food came (Xmas special panini) but was lacking bacon in both meals (turkey bacon and brie panini). Didn't complain as they were obviously struggling. The table next to us watched 3 tables of food arrive, yet they ordered first. They requested a refund and left. And as we left we watched a member of public (based on their workman clothing) go and lean in to the serving area talking to a waitress, coughing lots with at least 2 plates of food waiting there for service. Glad we'd already eaten. How was he even allowed to be there? We're local but probably won't return.

Nice breakfast, good service, good atmosphere and value. Only strange thing was over heard someone wanting to change an iten on breakfast and was told we can take it off nd charge the extra for replacement, they only wanted to change bacon to sausage...

The food was lovely, I had a lovely Ham and cheese panini and the staff are incredibly friendly 👏
