The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

Enjoyed a very pleasant few hours here, ordered the Drinks and Nibbles for two people. Great value, 2 cocktails each and a selection of nibbles. Staff all very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Also enjoyed some of the January Drinks promotions. Would definitely recommend paying this friendly bar a visit

Went on the 15th for breakfast with Santa with 6 kids. Could not recommend this place enough! Was great value for money at £15pp, kids got a buffet breakfast with lots of choice, jugs of diluting juice, tea and coffee for adults. The presents they received from Santa were brilliant, as well as also getting a selection box and a party bag. The kids loved decorating their own biscuits and marshmallows and participating in party games for prizes too. The staff went above and beyond and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We go here a lot for lunches/dinners and the food is always great too!

Deactivating your FB page after the mess you caused for many people on Xmas won't save you from negative reviews. Just shows how cowardly the management are of criticism. Hang your head in shame. Embarrassing.

23/12/24 Booked in for the 'Festive Menu' & it was the best Christmas dinner I've had in a long while. Very well presented & tasted absolutely gorgeous! We ate in the bar, all beautifully decorated & a lovely atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly & accommodating. We are new to the area & will definitely be dining here again.

WOW!! First time at the Atrium for a works night out last night and it did not disappoint. We had the Festive 3 course menu. The staff where amazing and always on the go and nothing was a bother! The Food itself (compliments to the chef) Good portions and very flavoursome. Also Special mention of Thanks to the lady that should have finished her shift at 8 but decided to stay on that looked after our table. Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas and a fab 2025! X

Had a great meal, staff very friendly and attentive. Will come again when visiting family in Ayrshire Sorry to hear this place is closed now too!! Many many good places to eat closing down which is sad to hear 😥 Maybe somebody will take it over 🤞🏼

Visited with my other half, personally the food was way overpriced. I had balmoral chicken and it cost £18.50, it was nice and i enjoyed it but it not worth that. The fish is what my partner had and again it was nice but was not worth £18.50 I just think it’s really over priced for where it is. Lots of other choices not that far out which we would go too. I had some cosmopolitans which were £8.50, again nice but nothing special. I just think they really need to lower their prices. Would i return based on the recent visit, no probably not. The staff were nice, but when delivering the food to the table, did not ask if we needed sauce or so on. Had to chase up another waiter to get that. There was no atmosphere either. Couldn’t wait to finish and leave.

Went for a friend's dinner to celebrate her PHD. I had a cake delivered to the restaurant and the team were very helpful. Attilla and a sweet young girl whose name began with a b - can't remember her name sorry! - were fantastic. Some of the best service I've had and the food was delicious too - 70% sorbet was something special. All in all, helped make a special occassion more special. Thank you!

Service good but food poor. Soup came with cheap supermarket bread, rather than the advertised sourdough. Cheap scooshy cream, rather than whipped cream. Disappointing. Has been better on previous visits.
