Can't get understand why the TV is not in tune with the music playing (loudly)

Enjoyed a very pleasant few hours here, ordered the Drinks and Nibbles for two people. Great value, 2 cocktails each and a selection of nibbles. Staff all very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Also enjoyed some of the January Drinks promotions. Would definitely recommend paying this friendly bar a visit

We only stopped here for a few drinks before going for dinner at another place so can't comment on food but the atmosphere here was great, the staff were very friendly and pleasant, the drinks were fairly priced and good quality and the toilets were clean and tidy, a really nice place to spend a few hours on comfortable settees, catching up with mates. Would deffo visit again. Cheers

Great bar. The drink wasn’t too expensive considering how much some bars in Glasgow charge now. Didn’t need to wait to be served. Staff were all super friendly and quick. There was a great atmosphere. Folk up dancing singing along to some great tunes. Also had Karaoke on too. Toilets were clean and tidy. Can’t comment on food because I didn’t eat here.

Great place was at organised event so atmosphere was good bar service friendly

Popped I'm here after work for a few with the work colleagues, place is nice enough and the alcohol selection is not bad either. Mainly like the art work they sell.

genuinely my favourite spot to just hang out in Glasgow, cocktails are excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, the mac and cheese is Top Tier! and gluten free option! (I do wish you would bring back the mushroom creamy pasta from years back) but for real, please hit bacchus up when u want a chill, nice environment, good drinks and good food

Nice bar. Guy behind the counter is great aswell. Tables outside are a bit wonky but besides that definitely a 5/5

Lovely cocktails. Great staff, unfortunately visit spoilt by group of men shouting at each other in conversation resulting in not being able to hear ourselves. This was no fault of the barstaff.

Went to for 1 drink before the train and then nice staff.

Hosted a stag du for my friend here. Fantastic atmosphere. Staff were brilliant and very acomadateing and made eveyone feel comfortable and relaxed the bar had a great vibe that allowed to enjoy the whole night there I highly recommend for anyone wanting a great time think Bacchus Bar 😁🙌

Had to BEG the bouncers to intervene in a homophobic attack, really do expect better for a venue next to a gay club :/

Management need an overhaul and someone who has skills in customer service. Someone professional who doesn't stand behind a bar and laugh at customers after making false accusations. Such a thing called slander. Would actually like to speak to the owner before I seek legal action !

Warm pub. Cold toilet. Very comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere. Also great decor. Very homely, overall lovely

Our visit on Friday , was fab . Good food , lovely staff , great friends and lashings of ginger beer , washed down with pink gin and a bottle of Prosecco , and not forgetting the strawberry daqueerie ! - see you again in January. It’s like walking into the film set of Cheers .

Brilliant wee pub! Enjoy myself every time I'm here. The pizza with the goats cheese on top is just WOW!!!! Get it, you won't regret it at all. Bar staff are all amazing and do a great job.

Magic wee night, karaoke was a blast and I got to clap a couple of dugs.doorman was some laugh

Terrific spot for drinks with friends, and the special events are excellent. Besides a super fun quiz night, I've also checked out the open mics, where a lot of terrifically talented local poets get a chance to take the stage. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely pub in heart of Merchant City where you can just sit with a quiet pint, or enjoy some nice food in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff 😀👍👌

Just not the right place for me. Extremely loud karaoke going on. Staff had to switch drinks into plastic as glass not allowed after a certain time of night. Staff seemed fine.

Didn't eat here but food brought to tables looked and smelled good. Been drinking here when in town for some time. Always busy on Saturdays. Plays 80s music so no brained for folks of a certain age! Friendly staff and great prices for city centre drinks. Only one small thing, toilets could be better. Some out of service and others had wonky seats. Wouldn't put me off visiting again though.

Lovely time spent with my wife celebrating my birthday. Although the venue was quiet, the food was excellent and the staff were brilliant. Will certainly be back.

From the moment of emailing to reserve a table for about 8 to 10 people to the moment we left. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave me 8 shots as it was my birthday. They set a side a table for us and kept on asking if we wanted any more drinks. Jamie was fantastic with his great communications when organising such a great afternoon at this pub. We've been here a few times and the service and food has been at a great hit for the group of people. I would most certainly recommend this place if visiting Glasgow or not.

A nice bar we have been going to for years . Shame yesterday will be our last . Ordered the fish and chips and was shocked by the size of the fish . I would say the fish was about the size of two fish fingers . Disgusting given it was 14 pounds . Trying to fool the public won’t work . We won’t be back

We went In on a whim a couple of days ago and got some bits to eat and it was banging, proper reasonable price and food/ service was great!

Came down from Orkney for a couple of days and stumbled upon this hidden gem in the city The interior was absolutely gorgeous, fantastic atmosphere and they have the cutest little doggy station for our four legged friends (woof!) The staff were second to none, they were a breath of fresh air on a cloudy day in Glasgow. The bartenders Jamie and Caitlin were abouts superstars! Nothing was too much of a hassle for these angels! Hats off to you both! They gave us wonderful recommendations for places to go around the city as we aren't locals! I wish this place all the luck and success in the world! If I could give 6 stars, I would!

By far best karaoke bar in Glasgow and the Karaoke king/DJ Aaron absolute legend. Followed him everywhere in town he's went over the years and he never fails

What a great find , we went out as ladies who lunch in Glasgow. After lunch we found ourselves in Bacchus !! Never been here before , don’t know why!! Staff are outstandingly friendly, maybe that’s to do with the amount of cocktails we drank - £5 per cocktail today - thank you Jamie and we will be back next month for the full shabang! Visited to try out the new cocktail menu with friends. Between the rainbow was especially fantastic, tasted great and absolutely beautiful for the 'gram! Cocktail trees on offer as well for a great price! Aperol spritz on offer which suited us perfectly Would and will be back!

Fantastic bar! Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly fantastic drinks especially the tasty cocktails! Highly recommend and i will definitely be returning again I’m sure there is still some more cocktails to try. If your looking for good music, good food at great prices with a chilled atmosphere then this is the place for you.

We where in having cocktails n nibbles. Great place to chill in afternoon, it started getting busy as day went on we where there till late. Brill atmosphere the bar man was so nice . Really nice bar will b back.

Great little bar. The karaoke night is absolutely brilliant. Everyone is so nice, the staff are quick and friendly and the prices are reasonable. This has now became my favourite place to be while in Glasgow. Absolutely 10/10

Had a lovely time on Christmas Eve. Everyone was very friendly, the food was excellent (haddock & chips came with a great little spicy rocket salad), and the drinks were crisp.

Stumbled across this place last Saturday. Really enjoyed the place, great vibes and clientele. Drinks are cheap and made well. Staff are friendly. Place wasn’t on my radar before, but il be back when I’m heading out for drinks. Highly recommend this place!.

Been in a few times now and like the vibe. The interior is nothing special but the bar manager is really nice and there's a good selection of draught beers.

This place is an absolute disgrace. My daughter was assaulted in this bar tonight and the management did nothing. The “man” that did it was told to leave AFTER he had finished his drink, which took more than half an hour. The female manager then said she wasn’t prepared to pay for bouncers and as she was 6 months pregnant there was nothing she personally could do. Warning to women not to go near this place and parents, please warn your daughters.

Went to a private function n it was fab 👌

Handn't been in since before lockdown but my friends and I have made that our first port of call when we go into Glasgow on Sundays. We're usually there about 12.30pm. It's not long opened up at that time. My friends really love the steak pie and chips. Mine was a pizza. I've never before failed to finish a pizza but it was absolutely huge. Sarah the manager even arranged to get Budvar in for me and one of my buddies. Now that's what I call service. Prices are good Incidentally. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Visited this twice fusing our visit to Glasgow and the second time the staff even remembered our friends dog! Great cocktails, lovely staff, great atmosphere.

Loved it will defo be back Family and friends get together Private function ,food fantastic for a buffet service excellent and staff brill ,quick service,curtious and very welcoming.

We had a wee day out for our late pal about 20 of us we ordered a buffet too food was amazing and staff so helpful and friendly I have been evey where in the toon most places staff don't even look at you not here I would recommend very highly and book a wee bit for you self and definitely get a wee buffet too 😁👏👏

Best bowl of soup I’ve had in my life 🥰 Totally amazing Exceptionally dog friendly free water and treats. Ordered a chicken breast for Flora the cockapoo she devoured it so I’m guessing it was good too 😁

Never been in before because it looks kinda weird from outside but good bar, nice staff and decent prices for the merchant city. Good tunes, seating outside, didn't eat but the food prices were good and the menu was good for pub grub. Definitely would recommend for a drink and some food on a Saturday afternoon

Had a great time at the virtual quiz on Wednesday evening! Came second but still had a lovely night in this buzzy city centre venue Great selection of gins and beers available Would and will recommend to friends!

Excellent little bar! Cocktails amazing- lovely lady who served us went above and beyond and even made us a cocktail not on the list at our request! Halloumi fries were delicious! Definitely worth a visit.

We visited on the 18th for the UEFA cup final and were very well looked after by the staff. Great selection of drinks and food. The food we had was very good and well presented. The bar could perhaps benefit from more bigger screens not a criticism as I know it’s not their main focus as a bar but it would certainly add to the experience for sports.
