Really want to give more stars but there was a delay in service and only when I asked if we could place our order were we told they were letting the kitchen catch up. Sat at a table in the middle so noise was an issue, simply due to acoustics. Food was good, but definite room for improvement. However, I would happily go back.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with very affordable and high quality food. Love that they had several vegan options. I got the vegan meatball sandwich and it was delicious. My bf got the fish and chips and said it was one of the best things he ate on the trip. Service was super friendly. And did I mention the atmosphere is soooo beautiful?

Only the second time in the place and certainly not disappointed. The staff couldn't do anymore for us and couldn't complain about the food or the price.

Was really lovely we popped in out the blue n got a seat I've tried to get a seat a few times and tonight we got a table so happy we all enjoyed our meals relaxed atmosphere will go again it's decorated beautifully too 😁😁☺️☺️

Unfortunately the optional service charge wasn't optional. It would have been nice to be asked. Poor customer service.

We had a lovely evening at The Treehouse, the food from the new autumn menu was excellent. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and make great cocktails! Highly recommend a visit.

The staff at The Tree House, Ayr, have to be some of the loveliest and kind people I have ever met! They are so accomodating and welcoming, we ended up coming back three times for breakfast during our three day stay in Ayr! The coffee is absolutely delicious, the best we have had while in the UK (we are from New Zealand, and our standards are quite high), it was beautifully roasted and always served HOT, 10/10. ☕️ The food is great as well, always so well presented and flavoured to perfection. An awesome menu too, something for everyone. The atmosphere is so cozy, you don’t want to leave! If I find myself back in Ayr in the future, The Tree House will be my first stop. 😊

Good food but a bit confusing regarding when lunch starts and breakfast ends. Had slight issues with what we had ordered but was sorted quickly and the gentleman more than made up for a small mistake. Definitely would recommend if in area

Had a really lovely breakfast here on the day I'd the air show 2024. Food was great, restaurant was busy but service was speedy and the wait for the food was ideal! Drinks served quickly and the server Erin was polite and fantastic. Would recommend.

GLUTEN FREE. We ate GF this evening. And the options and food were both plentiful and very good. Well done. Only downside is perhaps the sharing of the toilet with the associated bar. Some significantly inebriated lads may try to engage you in senseless conversation while standing at the urinal. Take that as you want….

I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The food was enjoyable, though I found some dishes to be on the pricey side, especially when compared to other upscale areas that offer more variety. The atmosphere was decent, and the service was satisfactory, with one standout: a friendly lady whose name I unfortunately forgot, but she truly brightened the experience with her warm smile. Overall, this restaurant is a good choice if you're looking for a more limited menu and can take your time enjoying the meal.

We had our family dinner at the tree house this evening for my dads dinner, Erin was our waitress and she was amazing! So lovely and so friendly. We had a lovely time and she even surprised my dad with a slice of cake and a sparkler! Such a lovely night

I'm from Portsmouth south of England. Went there for my 69th birthday. Food was amazing staff very friendly. Next time we visit Scotland we will definitely go back there for a meal. Our daughter inlaw and son are from northern Ireland they loved the food. You beat England and Northern Ireland with your food Tree 🌳 house. Thank you for a very special evening 😘 xx

Attracted by the facade, we were not disappointed by the decoration. The establishment is very beautiful. We were very well settled. On the other hand, the cuisine is ordinary, the service is not very friendly and the bill is vague...

Had an evening meal here and also a breakfast. Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere. Had the gochujang fried chicken bao buns and the full Scottish breakfast. Both dishes were 10/10. Staff were helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Our server Alexis was very attentive and pleasant. It was my birthday and he sang happy birthday to me whilst delivering a free dessert. Would highly recommend dinner at the Tree House Ayr.

When you're looking for "that special place" in an ocean of "bland" head for Tree House. You have my word that you will NOT be disappointed. Really good food, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. There is, however, one downside, don't be in too much of a hurry - but it's worth the wait (honestly!).

Terrible restaurant after terrible restaurant in ayr this weekend, the tree house was our saving grace! The place is gorgeous inside and the atmosphere was buzzing. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty and we were all stuffed, worth every penny. We will be back next year!

Been coming for a number of years now and we are never disappointed with the quality of food and the excellent service. Nice that our favourites are on the menu as a lot of restaurants continually change their menu

Another excellent trip. Reliable as always. Great wee sharing plate to start and every main was excellent. The Korean cod was perfectly cooked. Just wish there was a more exciting beer selection.

Very diverse selection of food and drinks, very friendly service and very good taste, we can highly recommend this restaurant. We were there for lunch and chose 2 courses each, it was super delicious! Our recommendation: take the goat cheese as a starter!

Visiting Ayr for a few days. Great place to eat and chill. One of the best restaurants to eat in town for food, service and ambiance. Was only in for breakfast but the food was fantastic. Had the Full Scottish, hit the spot perfectly. Well cooked and tastey. Perhaps a slice of square sausage wouldn’t have gone a miss. The black pudding and haggis my personal favourite.

Somewhat underwhelming. Food was fine, although the portions were small. The service was fine as well. The atmosphere is beautiful and the best part. Altogether, for the price, I am not convinced I'd go back.

We have had a high hopes unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. First - cocktails - in reality ice with some aperitivo. After almost an hour, glassess still filled with 60% ice. Food - arancini was good, but main courses were poor. Pork loin hard and chewy, chicken burger burnt. I wanted to finish my meal with an espresso and something sweet but the lunch has officially been ruined before it even begun with cheated ice cocktails. Why I have not said anything? I do not like conforntation and quite frankly I am going to a restaurant to enjoy myslef and have good food, not to worry that I need to speak up about things that shpuld have been correct to begin with...

Ok, not great, family style dining, with some nice menu mains, needs a bit more to bring it up a little, staff were friendly and attentive, but busy, food was a ok but nothing great, ordered the sharing platter, chicken skewer and the tempura chicken was really dry and a bit tough/ overcooked pea puree and soy bean dip! With flatbread, hummus would have been ideal, Gyoza was the most flavourful of the platter, ordered a rosè which was a really dry also despite its very sweet smell, not bad, but not going to shout about it either

Scotland best designed mid-priced restaurant? A spectacular atmosphere, impeccable five-star service, delicious food, and amazing gluten and dairy free menu. Thanks to it, it was the first time ever I could eat a cheesecake in the UK! It was gluten and dairy free.

Not a bad place for lunch. The other 3 in our party were very happy but my burger could have been hotter. The burger texture was a bit 'chewy', not the crumbly texture that I like - maybe it was a 'steak' burger. Reasonable prices and good choice of beers.

Was looking forward to trying this, just wanted something light between us so prawn cocktail and a philly steak sandwich diet coke each, £33. Fries too salty, sandwich luke warm cheeee didnt melt and pretty bland, prawn cocktail ok but had better. Shame cause staff were lovely.

Firstly the place looks lovely and fresh and vibrant. Staff where helpful and pleasant. The menu was great struggled to decide. The music however was very loud so struggled to hear my friends over the noise. Then beacuse a large group were in our meals where very much delayed allowing us to be there in time for a dj! I might be getting old but usually I don't go to a restaurant for dj music and like to chat with the people I've gone out with. On this occasion we couldn't hear each other speak.

My wife and I ate at the tree house at Easter and liked it so much we returned with our friends during a Scottish road trip. They enjoyed the food and atmosphere as much as we did. We will definitely be back.

Beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas was presented with the skill and finesse of a 1970s school dinner. The very few peas were smeared on the plate where they had been allowed to dry out and become devoid of any flavour or appetising appearance. Freezer to plate chips were then squashed on top of the peas with the fish then on top of those. This was set of with a garnish of a small halved onion. This was pre booked, a table of 4, for my wife's birthday lunch. Very disappointing, considering a text to me the day before enquiring what the occasion was and dietary requirements etc. No reference what ever was made to either on our arrival. Over £170, and poor poor presentation:-(

My husband booked a table for my birthday and was asked at the time if it was a special occasion, and he said it was for my birthday. However there was no reference to my birthday on the day so not sure why they asked. Also he ordered fish and chips, to be presented with dried out peas, with frozen Skinny chips covering them and garnished with half an onion? Not what we expected of BuzWorks

Wife ordered a burgher I have seen and tasted better burgher from chip shop burgher looked as if bought from a supermarket no taste absolutely rubbish wife give it back un touched staff were great asked if she would like anything else but she did not want to wait as I was half way through my meal will not be ordering a burgher from here again

Sat nearly an hour awaiting our food order only to discover our order had not been placed. Finally got our food over one and a half hours after we ordered. We received an apology and a complimentary drink which they also forgot about. Definitely my last visit to this buzzworks establishment.

Excellent service and Quality food.

Been in many many times. Disappointed with the do of today as it wasn't as advertised. Tempura no longer comes with any sort of salad garnish, with as a starter or main. My husband had it as a main and whilst there was a healthy portion of prawns, it absolutely needs a salad to break it up. I ordered the chicken poke bowl, which was not as advertised. The chicken was just large pieces like tempura, where the chicken would normally be cut up smaller in a proper pike bowl. Also, it's advertised as shredded bok choi, which was actually just white and red cabbage. It also stated edamame beans, and had none of these. Shame that the food let the visit down. When taking orders, waiting staff should advise re any changes.

Absolutely banging pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Light fluffy pancakes, plenty of nicely cooked bacon, and heaps of maple syrup. Would recommend 100%

We just dropped in to get out of the rain and ended up staying for four and a half hours . Very relaxing place with lovely decor . The staff were lovely with bar or table service. Will definitely be back .haven't rated the food but it looked really well presented and the place was busy with diners.

My visit was for drinks with friends at the weekend. The staff were all very friendly and informative about the menu. Table service was continuously offered to assist with our drinks and staff were attentive throughout the night. Atmosphere was great, thanks again!
