So busy so early on a Tuesday evening and I can see why. Excellent food at reasonable prices, very attentive and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. I had the 2 course special, with spicy hummus starter (this comes with dry roasted chickpeas, edame beans, fresh chilli, pomegranate seeds and a flatbread. Main was buttermilk chicken schnitzel with garlic & herb butter, fries, rocket and sun dried tomatoes. 2 courses £20.95!!!

We had a great meal at The Treehouse, food was delicious plus a good, relaxed atmosphere. Great service by our waitress Rona who was so attentive , even though she was busy with other customers, made sure we were looked after. One of my favourite restaurants , always a positive experience!

Every time we visit Ayr we have a meal in this restaurant . The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is of a very high standard. The atmosphere is all ways friendly and relaxing. See you on our next visit to Ayr.

I had the smoked salmon for starter. There was plenty of it, and it wasn't over smoked. However, I felt it could have come with a sharp sauce to cut the richness of the salmon. My companion had the haggis bonbons, which came with a sauce, neeps, and tatties, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We both had the pan-fried sea bass and prawns, which was well cooked. and again, potions were generous. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was relaxed and very pleasant. The staff were friendly and attentive and added to the enjoyment of the evening. I have just moved to Ayr, and this was my first visit to The Tree House. I will definitely be returning, and I would thoroughly recommend it as it was a really enjoyable evening.

Great food great staff very helpful with disabled people

Stunning eating experience - we dined on a Saturday evening and it was super busy - the wait was worth it. The staff were polite and attentive. The restaurant was clean and dishes were simply excellent. Definitely a return visit needed.

Breakfast? Delicious. Service? Excellent. Decor? Stunning. Vibes? Immaculate. The maple and bacon French toast reminded me of home, Canada. Definitely will be coming back here

Perfect dining experience for every occasion, cool decor, friendly staff who looked after us, also I asked about what was in a dish which was answered quickly, in other words she did not have to go and find out, this kid knew the menue

Fantastic location for food. Great atmosphere and warm welcoming friendly staff. Only slight negative was we felt a little rushed from course to course, but when we asked for a break after mains to decide on desserts they were great. The place was busy, so recommend booking ahead. We went on evening time so candles were lit and generally a warm cost feeling. Fab place for a date night or a friend's get together.

Beyond disappointing. We used to visit The Treehouse and other Buzzwork venues when the company first began and up until the pandemic whenever working on business in the area. We were so excited to return only to experience abysmally slow service and below average breakfast food. We later visited Scott's in Troon for dinner and although the food was of a better standard, yet again the service was abysmally slow and no one seemed to care any more. Buzzworks stood out for us as providing consistently high customer service - always welcoming, attentive and swift. Clearly, since the pandemic and since expanding the business, the personal attention to detail and quality is no more. Such a huge shame.

I had the plant based roast. It’s was all really nicely done but the main item was a couple of bits of butternut squash. It felt like it was lacking a main item and left me a bit hungry. It’s not great value when you compare the price to the meat roasts. The staff were great and the food came quick. The restaurant is bright, comfortable and relaxed.

Really want to give more stars but there was a delay in service and only when I asked if we could place our order were we told they were letting the kitchen catch up. Sat at a table in the middle so noise was an issue, simply due to acoustics. Food was good, but definite room for improvement. However, I would happily go back.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with very affordable and high quality food. Love that they had several vegan options. I got the vegan meatball sandwich and it was delicious. My bf got the fish and chips and said it was one of the best things he ate on the trip. Service was super friendly. And did I mention the atmosphere is soooo beautiful?

What a fabulous find! We are in Ayr celebrating our wedding anniversary. Thanks to another reviewer who recommended visiting if you were undecided, we came to The Treehouse. First class service from Carys and a delicious meal worth every penny. Would highly recommend this restaurant. If we weren’t so full, we would’ve popped into the bar for some live music too. It sounded great and had a brilliant atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks to the waiting staff and chef. Great night!

Only the second time in the place and certainly not disappointed. The staff couldn't do anymore for us and couldn't complain about the food or the price.

Was really lovely we popped in out the blue n got a seat I've tried to get a seat a few times and tonight we got a table so happy we all enjoyed our meals relaxed atmosphere will go again it's decorated beautifully too 😁😁☺️☺️

Unfortunately the optional service charge wasn't optional. It would have been nice to be asked. Poor customer service.

We had a lovely evening at The Treehouse, the food from the new autumn menu was excellent. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and make great cocktails! Highly recommend a visit.

The staff at The Tree House, Ayr, have to be some of the loveliest and kind people I have ever met! They are so accomodating and welcoming, we ended up coming back three times for breakfast during our three day stay in Ayr! The coffee is absolutely delicious, the best we have had while in the UK (we are from New Zealand, and our standards are quite high), it was beautifully roasted and always served HOT, 10/10. ☕️ The food is great as well, always so well presented and flavoured to perfection. An awesome menu too, something for everyone. The atmosphere is so cozy, you don’t want to leave! If I find myself back in Ayr in the future, The Tree House will be my first stop. 😊

Good food but a bit confusing regarding when lunch starts and breakfast ends. Had slight issues with what we had ordered but was sorted quickly and the gentleman more than made up for a small mistake. Definitely would recommend if in area

Had a really lovely breakfast here on the day I'd the air show 2024. Food was great, restaurant was busy but service was speedy and the wait for the food was ideal! Drinks served quickly and the server Erin was polite and fantastic. Would recommend.

GLUTEN FREE. We ate GF this evening. And the options and food were both plentiful and very good. Well done. Only downside is perhaps the sharing of the toilet with the associated bar. Some significantly inebriated lads may try to engage you in senseless conversation while standing at the urinal. Take that as you want….

I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The food was enjoyable, though I found some dishes to be on the pricey side, especially when compared to other upscale areas that offer more variety. The atmosphere was decent, and the service was satisfactory, with one standout: a friendly lady whose name I unfortunately forgot, but she truly brightened the experience with her warm smile. Overall, this restaurant is a good choice if you're looking for a more limited menu and can take your time enjoying the meal.

We had our family dinner at the tree house this evening for my dads dinner, Erin was our waitress and she was amazing! So lovely and so friendly. We had a lovely time and she even surprised my dad with a slice of cake and a sparkler! Such a lovely night

I'm from Portsmouth south of England. Went there for my 69th birthday. Food was amazing staff very friendly. Next time we visit Scotland we will definitely go back there for a meal. Our daughter inlaw and son are from northern Ireland they loved the food. You beat England and Northern Ireland with your food Tree 🌳 house. Thank you for a very special evening 😘 xx

Attracted by the facade, we were not disappointed by the decoration. The establishment is very beautiful. We were very well settled. On the other hand, the cuisine is ordinary, the service is not very friendly and the bill is vague...

Our server Alexis was very attentive and pleasant. It was my birthday and he sang happy birthday to me whilst delivering a free dessert. Would highly recommend dinner at the Tree House Ayr.

Had an evening meal here and also a breakfast. Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere. Had the gochujang fried chicken bao buns and the full Scottish breakfast. Both dishes were 10/10. Staff were helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

When you're looking for "that special place" in an ocean of "bland" head for Tree House. You have my word that you will NOT be disappointed. Really good food, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. There is, however, one downside, don't be in too much of a hurry - but it's worth the wait (honestly!).

Terrible restaurant after terrible restaurant in ayr this weekend, the tree house was our saving grace! The place is gorgeous inside and the atmosphere was buzzing. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty and we were all stuffed, worth every penny. We will be back next year!

Been coming for a number of years now and we are never disappointed with the quality of food and the excellent service. Nice that our favourites are on the menu as a lot of restaurants continually change their menu

Another excellent trip. Reliable as always. Great wee sharing plate to start and every main was excellent. The Korean cod was perfectly cooked. Just wish there was a more exciting beer selection.

Very diverse selection of food and drinks, very friendly service and very good taste, we can highly recommend this restaurant. We were there for lunch and chose 2 courses each, it was super delicious! Our recommendation: take the goat cheese as a starter!

Visiting Ayr for a few days. Great place to eat and chill. One of the best restaurants to eat in town for food, service and ambiance. Was only in for breakfast but the food was fantastic. Had the Full Scottish, hit the spot perfectly. Well cooked and tastey. Perhaps a slice of square sausage wouldn’t have gone a miss. The black pudding and haggis my personal favourite.

We have had a high hopes unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. First - cocktails - in reality ice with some aperitivo. After almost an hour, glassess still filled with 60% ice. Food - arancini was good, but main courses were poor. Pork loin hard and chewy, chicken burger burnt. I wanted to finish my meal with an espresso and something sweet but the lunch has officially been ruined before it even begun with cheated ice cocktails. Why I have not said anything? I do not like conforntation and quite frankly I am going to a restaurant to enjoy myslef and have good food, not to worry that I need to speak up about things that shpuld have been correct to begin with...

Ok, not great, family style dining, with some nice menu mains, needs a bit more to bring it up a little, staff were friendly and attentive, but busy, food was a ok but nothing great, ordered the sharing platter, chicken skewer and the tempura chicken was really dry and a bit tough/ overcooked pea puree and soy bean dip! With flatbread, hummus would have been ideal, Gyoza was the most flavourful of the platter, ordered a rosè which was a really dry also despite its very sweet smell, not bad, but not going to shout about it either

Scotland best designed mid-priced restaurant? A spectacular atmosphere, impeccable five-star service, delicious food, and amazing gluten and dairy free menu. Thanks to it, it was the first time ever I could eat a cheesecake in the UK! It was gluten and dairy free.

Not a bad place for lunch. The other 3 in our party were very happy but my burger could have been hotter. The burger texture was a bit 'chewy', not the crumbly texture that I like - maybe it was a 'steak' burger. Reasonable prices and good choice of beers.

Great service just in for a late cocktail really good vibe.
