The Creamery Sports Bar in Falkirk

Visited here for my birthday. My partner had phoned ahead and booked a table for 5 which I’m assuming the manager said wasn’t a problem. We then arrived and he’d made a table for 2 and a table for 3, with a space and plastic divider up which was very disappointing because that’s not a table for 5, it’s a table for 2 and a table for 3, so not ideal for a family lunch. I understand all of the covid guidelines, however, there was no reason that he couldn’t have pushed our tables together because that wouldn’t have put anyone at more risk, and actually would have resulted in our table being more socially distant from a table of 6 that came in. The manager was pretty arrogant and it would’ve been common courtesy to let us know on the phone when booking what the situation would be. This soured the experience somewhat for us. I got the black pudding pakora which was nice, although it used to be served in a poppadom but they have done away with this. The pakora and spiced onions are great. I then got the hunters chicken which was very nice, albeit some little bits of gristle or tendon that should’ve been discarded of prior to cooking. It was a very good meal which everyone seemed to enjoy but the initial customer service wasn’t the best. Branded table condiments would be a lot better than the cheap tomato sauce too.

had lunch here yesterday started with black pudding pakora which was lovely,steak pie which would have been better served with mash or thicker cut chips to help soak up fab gravy,but was disappointed with apple crumble,not the way to serve it but all in all a very tasty meal.will be back

Always forget about the creamery for dinner, my family and I went last week for a meal and it was a pleasant surprise. Can’t remember last time I had such a good meal. Highly recommended, will be back.

Visited recently with my husband, young daughter, dad and partner. Wasn’t expecting much upon arrival but what’s the saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. Upon arriving we were asked to have our face coverings on at all times unless seated and there was hand sanitizer at the entrance. A contact name and number was taken From one person per household in the group. Staff all wearing face coverings. Felt really at ease as we haven’t ventured out much due to COVID. Food was delivered to the table shortly after ordering and it was delicious. Portion sizes were just right and in my husbands case he ordered the double burger and it came out stacked like a tower, onion rings and all and yes he did demolish it! Reasonably priced too, will definitely be visiting again!

Visited here for dinner on a Monday. Upon arrival, we were given the new guidelines/ requirements due to covid-19 so this was good to see they’re taking things seriously. We were then seated in a booth (with protective glass) and our drink orders were taken by the polite waitress. We ordered off of the set menu, deciding upon the black pudding pakora, hunters chicken and a cheesecake (strawberry). The black pudding pakora was lovely, very hot and fresh and served inside what looked like a homemade poppadom. The pakora sauce and spiced onions were also great. The hunters chicken was lovely too, in my opinion, it would’ve been a bit hotter but it was still lovely, the skin on chips were great too. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was the cheesecake, the cheesecake is usually really good from here but it just didn’t taste fresh. The cheesecake was also pretty gelatinous instead of being creamy and soft. I think the cheap strawberry sauce didn’t do good things for it either. I’d definitely return here as the food is good, reasonably priced (£12.95 for 3 courses) and the staff are very friendly, I just hope the dessert is better next time.

Just had another great meal here. Portions sizes and prices are brilliant ! Always clean, waitress was as always very attentive and pleasant. Would recommend.

Not been here for years but after good reviews went for family dinner. The food was excellent but the waitress was rude towards us about our children ,telling us to keep them quite etc ...def not child friendly will not be back .our children were not rowdy or loud ..was bitterly disappointed .

Great portion sizes and great value for money! Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant area is nice. Plus very clean.

Visited here with a large number of people. Waitresses were very nice and welcoming and waited for everyone to arrive to get our orders in. The drinks were nice and brought promptly, we then ordered our food off the set menu (good choice of options). I ordered the black pudding pakora which arrived inside a poppadom . Very hot and fresh and the spiced onions and pakora sauce (homemade I think?) were very nice. I then ordered the hunters chicken which arrived very hot and tasty, good amount of skin on fries, coleslaw and salad. One of the only complaints was a couple others in the group said that their steak pie could’ve been a lot hotter. I then ordered the apple crumble but this needs improving, it is very dry and seems like it could be a lot more moist, others in my group thought so too. The weather spoons crumble I had was 10x better. I tried one of the groups cheesecake which was nice but it’s more like mouse (I went to the creamery last year and the cheesecake was lovely so they’ve definitely changed this). All in all it was a nice meal with some improvements needed

Great food and service and this place we tried for the first time. The choice of food was great. Loved the Haggis wedges for a starter. Nice choice on the 2 or 3 course fixed price menu. The portion was just right. Great service from the staff. Definitely will be back.

Love this place! Been a few times to play pool but decided to get a bite to eat whilst we were last time. The restaurant was full but we were offered seats at the bar which we were more than happy with. My husband had the fish and chips and I opted for a burger. Portions were huge, well worth the price which was very reasonable. The food was delicious and the service was second to none. Wasn't disappointed and will definitely be back. I'd go as far to say its probably one of the best in the area.

Went today for a few games of pool and a wee bite to eat, the food reminded me of my childhood when you got a real bar lunch I had the breaded mushrooms and then the steak pie, lovely pub food, massive portions and excellent value for money!

Visited here on a Sunday for the 3 course deal. I had the black pudding pakora which was delicious, the pakora sauce was great too. I then had the Cajun chicken burger which could’ve had more seasoning, a very plain burger. The chips and salad were nice. I then had the cheesecake which was amazing. One of the younger servers could’ve been nicer and more friendly and upon paying the bill realised that we had been charged a “£1.50 custard top up” charge which I don’t understand as they had asked my partner if she wanted custard with her apple crumble.

First time visit with partner. Was greeted right away when we entered. waitress was very attentive, good food and portion size. could order from either menu. Good value for money. Will be going back and would recommend.

Visited with family ..one gluten free ..none Of the staff had much knowledge of coeliac disease which is surprising in this day and age ..Daughter very disappointed in very poor choice ..other meals were fine .

Enjoyed a fantastic family meal, place is fresh, spotless, staff attentive and food was excellent value for money. Small cosy and very well priced. Had a look in the adjoining snooker and pool rooms and they look so well maintained so had an enjoyable game of pool after our meal. All in all enjoyed a terrific day out. Great place.

Great food I highly recommend the Cajun chicken it's amazing the mac cheese is great to yum yum 👅 iv been going for years and never had a bad meal

The creamery is a family run establishment with a dining area and Snooker tables. Good food and good friendly staff and reasonably priced

Passed this restaurant a thousand times before and never thought to try it until last night. So glad we did, absolutely amazing food, fab staff, gorgeous decor and lovely atmosphere. Very reasonably priced & great selection of food, generous sized portions & £10.95 for a nice bottle of chardonnay too. Got a feeling this is going to be our new regular family haunt.

The restaurant has been done up and is lovely ,staff friendly , good value for money ,food very good and they go out there way to make a good meal for you or help in any other way. We have been a lot of times and will keep going back .

Great restaurant big portions and very competitive prices good and easy parking . Our favourite is the chicken strips and try out the 8oz burger awesome

I went to The Creamery for a mid morning coffee, as I could not find another restaurant or café open I Main Street, only Public Houses which did not appeal to me.

my family and i went here for our dinner and it was lovely food and good vaiue for money, the place is lovely inside we have been before and will be back again ,they also have deals on there menu.

I have visited this restaurant twice and have enjoyed the meal both times. Good wholesome food. I shall certainly return

local sports bar has separate pooland billiards rooms and bars also ,only problem was finding out when they do meals seems to be friday saturday sunday night also not sure of opening hours during the day for lunches ,but been quite a few times service is excellent as is the food and drink ,prices are excellent not expensive at all ,can cater for parties pre booked i suppose

Headed there with a few friends to play pool, set up is brilliant with plenty American tables and 2 English tables which worked perfectly for our group. Drinks prices reasonable and staff really helpful and friendly.

This is another wee gem which is in my locale. I've enjoyed both lunches and dinners here. The food is good and plentiful, the service is very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive and it's great value for money. What more can you ask for?

Hubby and I were there tonight, Lovely wee place we had breaded mushrooms, Macaroni and cheese with chips, And Hunters chicken with chips and salad, followed by Apple pie and Ice cream, 1 Pint of Lager and a diet Irn Bru all for £24.70 Great value for Money and plenty on your Plate !!! will Defo be back
