Excellent food very reasonable staff very friendly and helpful highly recommended the corrie Inn great value for money went there every evening for our evening meal

Excellent as always . Would not go anywhere. Portions are huge and the service is second to none. The food is to die for. Atmosphere is great and you are always greeted with a smiling face and great banter. Been going there over a year now and honestly can't fault it. Love the place. Just had lunch with after scattering a friends ashes today with a few others. Clean plates all round, food terrific and huge portions, staff on point. I cannot recommend highly enough👌🏻👌🏻

The place is large and has a pleasant outdoor terrace with games for children. The cuisine is correct and the welcome warm.

Lovely homely place that we stumbled on when trying to find somewhere to eat after driving up. We had both toes of fajita (one GF)that came out sizzling! Very good and lovely staff atmosphere.

Went for a few pints before placing an order for the wood fired pizzas. Unfortunately, the pizzas were not available. Apparently this happens quite a lot. Lovely wee pub, hopefully will eventually get to try the pizzas!

Excellent food and amazing staff

We went there this afternoon for lunch, I had a starter of black pudding and home made onion chutney which was very very nice. For main courses my wife ordered the chicken fajita sizzle platter with a side order of chips, I had the 10oz gammon steak with fried egg and pineapple with a side order of onion rings. The food itself was first class and very tasty, my only small gripe is that the onion rings appear to be frozen shop bought instead of homemade such a shame as this is a hidden gem and appears to be very popular place for people to eat be it inside or outside. Would have no hesitation in returning here for a meal.

Always friendly service at the Corbie. Handy when walking the John Muir Way or just raking about Kinneil Foreshore. Good choice of meal options.

Cosy warm atmosphere as soon as we stepped through the door, extremely welcoming staff, who were fabulous throughout. We just about managed 3 courses and the food was just delicious, all freshly cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the steak pie, it’s the best we have had thus far. Really lovely atmosphere and a wonderful outdoor space too. Thank you for having us!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dogs are allowed in the pub and ours was made to feel very welcome. Quite a wide choice of food - even a gluten free menu. The highland burger is especially good, would highly recommend it.

Food was delicious! I had marinated chicken with noodles, had to get a doggy bag, some plate of food. My husband had the haddock and said he would definitely recommend it. Will definitely be back here!! There's a lovely beer garden with a kids' play area.

Lovely meal for my mother's birthday. Staff excellent and the steak pie was ( almost) as good as my mother used to make and that is saying something. 😜

Went here with 16 of the extended family to celebrate our mother's 70th birthday, absolutely fantastic everyone loved it, and the empty plates all round says it all. Missed out on the fresh pizzas as they had sold out but that just gives us excuse to return which we will.

My wife and I have been coming to this lovely place for a meal for some time now and I have to say we have never been disappointed with the service we get from the staff they always make you feel welcome the meals are always perfect as well.

Stayed in Bo'ness for a couple of nights (midweek). The hotel wasn't serving food so sauntered down to the Corbie Inn where even though we had four medium-sized dogs with us it was no problem, we got a table in the corner with plenty of space for us and all the dogs. Excellent selection of food on the menu and very reasonably priced, the steak pie was delicious and my OH enjoyed the mixed grill, we were so full afterwards though that we couldn't have dessert! It was so good we returned the second night. Very friendly, welcoming service to ourselves and the dogs, genuine dog-friendly place not just dogs-tolerated there were a few other dogs there both nights too. Highly recommend and will go back when I'm in the area again.

Not long home after Mother’s Day / Grandsons birthday meal . Meal was beautiful, staff were so helpful and it was a lovely family atmosphere. I’ve been here loads and I’ve never been disappointed. Great value as well . Keep up the good work guys x

This place is advertised as a family friendly place to eat and it does exactly what it says on the tin! Was in on Friday night for dinner with a friend and again on Saturday at lunchtime with family! Friday night was crazy busy with a massive group with young toddlers happily free to wander plus many other larger groups. You would think that would affect the service but no! The staff were attentive, patient and friendly with everyone. I don’t know the formulae for success but The Corbie Inn team has nailed it. The food is reasonably priced with lovely presentation and tastes amazing. I have tried a lot of items on the menu now and have never been disappointed. If you like good food in a nice friendly atmosphere then you cannot miss ‘a Corbie!’

Not sure what venue cm from Edinburgh was at but it certainly doesn’t give a true reflection of The Corbie Inn! It’s an absolute gem of a place. great for a casual night out, family meals, larger get togethers or just a quiet drink and they have some fantastic events such as the monthly Comedy Nights! Something for everyone! I am disabled with mobility issues and have absolutely no problem moving between tables so they’re definitely not crammed in or too close together. I also have sensitivity to noise but have truly never felt anxiety or discomfort within The Corbie Inn. We have been numerous times for meals/drinks, too many to count, as a family and in a large group. The service is spot on and the staff are very accommodating and attentive. The food is always delicious, hot and home cooked… not like the reheated microwave muck many establishments serve. The drinks are cold and enjoyable and awards have been won for their cask ales. Gail and her staff go above and beyond if you have any special requests more often than not can accommodate them, if they can’t it’s for very good reason. It’s a family friendly pub/restaurant but we have never ever felt that it was necessary to complain about excessive noise or children moving between their tables and the play area outside. There are many tables where you wouldn’t even know children were in the building. Don’t take my 5 star review for it, go try it for yourself. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

We were back to our favourite family pub / restaurant on Friday. The place was buzzing with big tables of extended families. That created a great atmosphere. The food, real ale and ambiance were excellent as usual. I highly recommend the Corbie Inn for choice, food quality, wonderful cask conditioned real ale, and great value for money. We had the private function room booked for a family birthday with 32 guests, which included a lot of energetic young kids. The staff were lovely and great with the kids, food was good and the over all feel of the place was good. Considering it was packed out in both areas of the inn, we were well catered for all night. Prices are very fair for pub grub, won’t hesitate to book again.

I didn’t expect this, busy large noisy room, lots of families with loud kids, no conversation possible. Tables were so close together, staff squeezed in between serving food to the next table with their bottoms in my face. Also they were not really friendly. It was so noisy, what a relief when I left the room. I didn’t enjoy this event and will definitely not come back. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Extremely noisy, full of so many noisy children running around, tables so close together it was difficult to move, no chance of a relaxing meal here. Everything about the place was disappointing, the food, drinks ( beer not chilled ) staff, decor, atmosphere, etc Quite awful to be honest

Extremely noisy and claustrophobic, sounded like a kids playground, tables so close together with staff squeezing between them almost knocking your drink out of your hand, no atmosphere at all, poor decor, in my opinion it was similar to a wedding reception in a cheap hall. Could not have a conversation as it was too loud all around. No ambience or relaxing atmosphere. More like McDonald’s to be honest. Food average, staff not over enthusiastic or overly friendly , I would not wish to return. Most disappointing, would not recommend. I was happy to leave after only spending a short time there.

On the way back from Stirling castle and wanted to find a pub that wasn't a part of a large chain, well what a find it was, the only thing that I am disappointed at is that I can only give it 5 stars!!!! You will not believe the price/ quality until you try it!!! Excellent!!

We attended a private event yesterday - a Burns Supper for the Bo'ness Fair. I'll tell you what - brilliant night. Staff were fabulous, but the food was brilliant. Couldn't be happier. Looking forward to going back in a normal night to try the Corbie Inn menu. Thank you

Really nice place for a pub lunch. Was a warm welcoming place on a cold winter's day. The outside seating area would be good for summer eating.

With limited choice of dining options midweek, and following recommendations, we headed here for dinner with my in laws Portions are huge If you are looking for typical 'pub grub' this is the place for you An odd layout and poor acoustics meant that on this quiet evening, the place definitely lacked atmosphere

My wife and I had a date night at the Cordie Inn on December 3rd, 2023. We both had the Christmas dinner, and we must admit it was a fantastic meal. The staff were amazing as always. We both like going there as it's very cosy and the staff are always welcoming foods always fantastic. Keep up the great work.

We had rib grill meals with steak. The steak was soggy like it has been boil cooked and was not nice. The BBQ ribs were ok but a bit bland to be honest. The potatoes that came with the meal were just boiled potatoes, no salt, no herbs, just potato. The chips were over oily and probably cooked too long ago too low a temperature so saturated and unpleasant. The only think we did like was the starter vegetable spring rolls. The waiting staff seemed inexperienced and made some basic mistakes but nothing bad, they just need time and more care. I hate giving a bad review but this was very disappointing. A pretty sad experience so we won't be back.

The chunks of chicken werent tuff but were a bit too firm. Other than that it tasted ok. The custard was good but the possibly tinned apples were a bit hard in the apple tart/slice/pie. Returned again in September 2020 & this piece of chicken 🐥 aint have BQ. Should only be 3 * * * BACK IN AGAIN 3 yrs later 3/10/23 with a funeral party. Coffee came only WARM, waited for more - nothing doing, so went to the bar & paid for a lovely tasting Lattie & when the guy eventually came round with the Coffee pot i got my cup of lattie ☕ topped up. The waiters didn't go round often enough with the tea & Coffee pots. The boofie consisted of small sausage rolls & they were warm also BUT they tasted great as did the tryanguler cut sannies with many different fillings in them to choose from, funny enough i didn't see any napkins about. They had lovely small varied cakes on display, i chose a small round bit of shortbread but it was a tad soft & tasted horrible. The best small & large shortbread can be bought in CENTRAL PERK on, or the approach to Grahams rd in Falkirk SO get yersell doon there & check it out & u won't be disappointed. 😁

Visited for first time here recently and will certainly return. Huge portion of steak pie and chips followed by cheesecake, absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced and service with a smile by lovely barmaid.

Visited here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Lovely friendly female member of staff greeted us and took our order and informed us of the "specials". We both opted for steak pie from the main menu and it was absolutely delicious and what a plateful. I had the cheesecake to follow and my cousin had the apple crumble and custard. Cannot fault it. Will certainly return and recommend anyone in the area to give it a try.

Staff are polite and friendly, food is amazing as well. Really nice place to go for good quality food! They also have a large gluten free menu which is unusual for most places.

Lovely food, we had fish and it was light and fresh, very tasty, chips were real chips, delicious and the side salad had a lovely drizzle on, really nice atmosphere, staff.very friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend it.

Warm welcome into an almost empty "quietest it's been in a while" nicely decorated pub restaurant. Decent memu choice....although my son was disappointed when he noticed that pizzas are only available on certain days. I asked for a diet Pepsi...but as with most places only "coke" was available....certainly wasn't Coke Cola - son can drive and I'll have a real Magners next time. I then opted for the Corbie Burger from the specials board, whilst my son went for scampi.....and we waited....and waited....Scampi was "good" and at least there wasn't any corbie in the burger. The chips were absolutely superb and salad was tasty.

Whether local or visitor you must visit the Corbie Inn. The menu has a variety of tasty, genuine home cooked food, and the table service is local, knowledgeable and professional. The Corbie is owned and run by people who have been in Bo'ness for a long time and are well established. We so appreciated this restaurant !

The Corbie inn was our choice today for lunch. It was my friends first visit. She chose the chicken enchiladas. She raved about them said the chicken was delicious and there was enough for two people. I had the cheese and bacon burger. The chips were lovely and the burger was so thick I couldn’t finish the meal. Everything was piping hot. Coffee was good. The service was excellent we couldn’t fault anything. We will certainly return.

We've been going to the Corbie pretty much since it opened and it has always been nice. It's got a good atmosphere most of the time and the beer garden is nice however it would really benefit them if they were to update their menu...
