New Market Bar in Falkirk

Great place for a few casual drinks with friends, shows sport and has a pool table. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Has food too, would recommend the small plates to nibble on. Old firm atmosphere was great!

Love coming to the newmarket once a week for a catch up with friends. The bar staff are so nice and helpful cody is always welcoming. Food is super lovely too.

Came here for a drink with family. We had some nibbles which you need to order from the bar as no table service. Food and drink were both excellent

Too long a wait for food service was not great at all found staff not very friendly Food was warm when served wont be back again im afraid

We came in on Friday evening for dinner, we both had burgers and they were great, we opted for waffle fries instead of regular fries, we weren't disappointed. The staff let us know about karaoke later on, so we decided to stay and have a few drinks, great atmosphere and great night overall

Usually easily pleased and not fussy at all but this was shocking. Ordered the chicken sub and the bun was hard at the bottom. Tried cutting through it, impossible, picked it up to eat and even that was a joke. Was just a bun, shouldn’t have been that hard😂Service was great and staff were brill but the food was actually terrible. Tried to get a refund but the ‘email us’ page on the website doesn’t open. So we’re stuck. It’s a ashame because the pictures and menu seem so good.

Amazing place for food and drinks. Always get a great laugh from all the staff! Always a regular customer here for drinks, food and all the big sports. Karaoke on a Friday and DJ on a Saturday too so plenty for everyone!

Went in today for a beer. Great service, great beer and expertly poured. I’d have liked to stay longer, good bar service becoming a rarity so it was enlightening to get it here. Well done guys👍

Had chicken tender buffalo chicken burger was amazing although could do with adding a spiciness option . Spicy fries more like tub of salt fries apart from fries burger was banging . Spicy fries should be spicy not like your eating straight salt . Other items I've had I'd have give an 8 outta 10 could of been better score if wasn't eating salt instead of spicy fries

Great little pub right in the center of Falkirk with access to all the buses right outside. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly is always a bonus when considering where to visit. Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Always a friendly welcome from the staff, food is great with a good sized menu. The pub has also recently become dog friendly which is great when your out with the dog and can pop in for a quick drink.

Great place to stop in for a bite to eat and a pint, huge selection. The pub is now dog friendly which is a bonus if your out for a walk and fancy a cheap pint.

Always pop in with the dog for a quick pint now that the pub is dog friendly, the staff have a bowl of treats behind the bar and are super welcoming to the dog. Pints are cheap and staff are super friendly

This pub is right in the center of town beside all the bus stops, handy if your waiting for your bus, pints are cheaper Monday to Thursday but reasonably priced at the weekend, staff are always welcoming and happy to recommend things if you have any questions

Stopped in for a bite to eat, downstairs was busy with some sports on TV so I headed upstairs with my child. Had a few different dishes from the small plate section on the menu and some puddings. Pleased and with our meal and service from staff and very happy for the quieter space upstairs (at the time of day we visited) for the wee one the menu choices were great. Hidden gem for lunch :)

Went here for a meal and really enjoyed it. Food is reasonably priced and really tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There’s always a wide range of ages in the pub, and everyone is made to feel welcome. Great function suite area too....

Popped in for a quick drink. Great place for a game of pool (upstairs) and watching sport there are screens everywhere. The blonde lady that served me last night was really friendly and chatty, would definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Clearly frozen multi pack battered fish. And the chips are also frozen. You get better from Asda! Its clear this place doesnt have a chef, I think the guys behind the bar must just take the food out the freezer and chuck it in the oven. Shockingly bad. I'm giving it one star only because 0 star isn't possible. Avoid unless you just want to sit in a a pub that sells cheap drink and are happy to accept all that goes with that. Terrible.

Great for watching the football ⚽️ both English and Scottish leagues as well other sports throughout the pub on a daily basis, both Sky and BT sports channels.

Place looks a bit dated, but nice chilled atmosphere with good food. Prices are really reasonable, and staff easy to deal with. Had an issue of being overcharged but sorted quickly.
