A lovely cafe for a quick meal! I visited with my husband and 3 year old and couldn't fault it at all. Food was great and the babychino for my son was fabulous, usually it's just in an espresso cup! There's a good selection of vegan cakes and the ones we tried were delicious. Staff were all friendly and the tunes in there were great! Definitely worth a visit if in the area!

Great value for money. Staff friendly. Fantastic for our family with 2 young children. They could eat inside the play area so once theyâd finished we could sit and eat our meals while they went off to play. We wanted to visit to have a meal and use the play area. Gutted they have closed to the public. I canât fathom why brewers have made the decision to open to premier inn customers only. Surely they will lose a lot of money by doing this. Weâve visited many a time for the breakfasts dinners and carveryâs. Talked to many of the other guests that have said the visit regularly every week and now loyal locals are not welcome. I personally think this is a disgusting decision to have made and canât understand the logic of it at all!!!

We stayed here for an away day and overall it was very good. The food is excellent with the chef, ex Ledbury, Harwood Arms and Woodsman Stratford, overseeing a great locally sourced menu with a great feel. The wine list is broad but a bit expensive with some gems. Our room, the Cuckooâs Den, is large and comfy with a great view. The only downsides were no hot water the day we arrived and the common areas are limited with only one set of sofas by a lovely fire. Without that it would be a 5. A place to come and use as a base to get our and about not to cost up in - a challenge when the weather is so bad. But if you want a base for the Cotswolds it would be hard to beat. The staff canât do enough for you.

Ate here last Sunday 27th April, I ordered crab salad advertised as "Traditionally dressed crab in shell, mixed leaves, lemon mayonnaise, crusty bread & butter", the crab was a massive disappointment, didn't taste like crab and certainly not fresh. It was served with a little mixed leaves and tiny slices of cucumber and tomato. There were also 4 slices of fresh white stick bread which took up half of the plate. For ÂŁ25 it was certainly money down the drain. My friend had a kind of vegetarian Sunday roast, the roast potatoes were overdone, the pie crust was overdone and the swede tasted old. It's the only restaurant in the area so I guess they have a monopoly!

We visited Owd Barn on the Saturday just before Mother's Day and were booked in for afternoon tea for five of us. My mother in law has some mobility problems and so I spoke to the staff in advance, who were very helpful in arranging a table with easy access. We were served quickly, but never felt rushed, even though it was clearly very busy with a couple of large parties also having afternoon tea. The food itself was delicious - a variety of sandwiches and savoury pastries plus soup served in a teacup and best of all - freshly cooked chips which was lovely as something different from the usual afternoon tea. Scones were fresh and the jam was very tasty. Finally a selection of cakes. We couldn't quite manage it all and so were given a box to take the leftovers home. All in all a really great experience with great customer service... we'll definitely be back!

We stayed at the pub/restaurant for the Friday and Saturday night as we had a wedding to attend locally. We were greated with a lovely friendly girl called Chevaughn she was so welcoming. Through out our stay we had drinks and oh my god!! The FOOD!! wow! Incredible Thai food đ it was honestly insane. And the chef Amy came over to check everything was OK (which was a lovely touch) as we enjoyed our evening we noticed that Chevaughn was all over everything, she was serving, clearing plates, making sure everyone was attended to. She really was so professional and smiley all of the team were mucking in, it was a lovely atmosphere. The barman Harrison was also very attentive. We will 100% be back.

Came to this beefeater for the first time today since our one in Preston closed and it's been the best beefeater experience I have ever had. Pam was amazing and I can't fault her! Really went above and beyond to give us the best dining experience, thanks Pam!! Brownie points to you Pam! đ
