Always get great food here and treated like we matter. Eaten here a number of times now and never been disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

We holiday in Bude every year and ALWAYS have a meal at The Deck. Sometimes a romantic one with hubby, this time a fun meal with my 18 yr old son as hubby dog sat in the holiday home. We had the surf and turf hnaging skewer with a side of the chilli slaw and the fish and chips. Kindly swapped the fries for sweet potato ones (as I can’t eat normal ones) and cooked my steak a bit more for me too (as I’m a well done girl!) Followed up with some ice cream! Delicious as expected! The service is ALWAYS EXCELLENT. We will be back next year!!!

Stopped here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Found on internet. Menu was appealing. Truth is the menu doesn’t actually do it justice. I love the proper English breakfast, I was not disappointed. Easily the best breakfast I’ve had for a long time. It’s not the cheapest, but definitely worth every penny. The ingredients were top quality. Thick bacon, lovely sausages. The attention to detail was great. Not to mention the staff. Genuinely kind helpful and attentive. We will definitely comeback and 100% recommend all to give this a try.

6 of us & 2 bulldogs were made to feel very welcome by the lady & gent on duty - local Bude gin was delicious - very generous portions which everyone enjoyed - from fish & chips to club sandwich to the ribs - lovely views on ver the bay

A lovely spot for an evening meal right next to the sea. The Deck had a very warm, cozy atmosphere, and we were lucky enough to be seated right next to the window (and the sea view). Staff were very friendly and attentive, and our food and drinks were served within good time. The vegetable and halloumi hanging kebab was absolutely delicious! The garlic butter sauce was lovely brushed on the generous chunks of halloumi. My only complaint is that we would have liked some more chunks of veg for the money. Towards the end of our meal the staff were a little too attentive, as we did feel a bit rushed to finish our food. Overall, The Deck is a beautifully presented restaurant perfect for a tasty family meal.

I cannot recommend this venue. The staff are half soaked and not very experienced or trained well. The food seems to be smothered in chillies?! Does this make a dish “worldwide?”. The menu choice was basic and poor. I was unimpressed with my meal as was my wife and her mother. All in all I would avoid this place

Visited for a drink, sat outside and the sun started to shine. We decided to eat here and was so glad we did. I ordered the Thai mussels and they were huge mussels and a mammoth size portion. They tasted so good, the best I’ve had in years. My wife had the ribs, she loved them but they were massive. They fell of the bone. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely location! Food was speedy and great portions. Apart from the coleslaw was incredibly small. You have to visit the toilets there is an entertaining décor. Staff were helpful and attentive. Prices were acceptable for the quality of food, except for the puddings. They use sugar waffles which was a let down as they are a rip off with the price of the desert! overall a great place to visit!

Came here after seemingly was one of THE places to eat in Bude based off reviews. Massively underwhelmed. Felt more like a hostel than a restaurant. Food was distinctly average and beige for the price. Staff forgot two of our drinks, there were 3 of us. Took forever to bring the bill. Just left feeling very meh after what seemed to a no brainer to visit.

This is our third holiday to Bude and our third visit to the Deck. This place has a really fun vibe and the staff are warm, professional and welcoming. The food is delicious and portions are very generous. You are definitely missing out if you don’t give this restaurant a visit.

Went here for a birthday breakfast treat this morning and it was lovely! Very very friendly staff and great service. Food and coffee were great and my boys very much enjoyed the continental option. My 7 year old said 'the girls there make the best food' ☺️ We will definitely be back to try out the lunch/evening menu!
