Leithbridge Arms in Taunton Deane

We stayed at the Lethbridge for a weekend. The rooms upstairs were spotlessly clean and quiet. The pub downstairs was run by Sarah who did everything to make our stay special. The main highlight however was the amazing Thai food. Hands down the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. We definitely will be back.

As always amazing friendly service. Food gets better every time. Prawn Penang was delicious! Wonderful atmosphere and decor! Just love this place.

We stopped off as we're passing and hungry, not clocking that it is a Thai based menu. Two in our party have serious food allergies and Thai food has always felt a bit risky as sesame is a common ingredient so we normally avoid. Katy, our waitress, was exceptionally helpful with no fuss. We were given the comprehensive and clear ingredients table and Katy knew and understood the menu well in terms of what oils etc. are used. We then ordered. Katy came back from the kitchen to advise on some possible cross-contamination risks due to cooking method and so we adjusted and had a fantastic meal. Well done Katy and Kitchen for looking after us so well.

The Lethbridge Arms is very local to us and we've had wonderful meals here 3 times in recent weeks. Firstly as a couple, on a Wednesday night. The food and waiting staff were excellent. The following Saturday we took a group of 8 friends, who loved the food and the service. One of our party has a nut allergy and we were able to ensure that he was safe by looking at the very comprehensive allergy boards provided. Most recently 4 us went last Saturday and again all was excellent. If you want to go on a Friday or Saturday evening do book as they are very busy. In fact, I would pre-book every time as it's a very popular venue!

Me and the wife stayed here when we went to see Status Quo play at nearby Vivary Park. The room was lovely and very well priced. We enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the food as it was late when we arrived from the concert but I bet it was lovely. Charming pub, fantastic host. Would recommend staying here as a nice base to explore Somerset.

We are a family group of six people. Our entire experience was fabulous from start to finish! We were served by Sarah who was friendly and efficient without being pushy or intrusive. It was a Saturday evening and despite the pub being busy it didn’t feel crowded and there was a lovely atmosphere. Now to the food - we opted for Thai and it really was superb. Everything was freshly cooked to order in a mild/medium or hot spice according to taste. The sharing platter as a starter was both tasty and good value and the soups were lovely too. We’re already planning a return visit 😊

We went out for a meal on Saturday night. The food was faultless, they were extremely busy but this didn’t affect the service we received from Ruby our server. The restaurant was warm from the log burner, the food amazing. Thank you Ruby for looking after us. We will be back soon.

Absolutely fabulous Thai meal. All food freshly and carefully prepared with wonderful presentation - highly recommend the Thai Scallops - delicious. Great atmosphere, cracking service and a very personal touch when Amy the chef came out to the table to make sure everyone was happy with their food. We'll certainly be back again for sure.

My first visit to the Lethbridge Arms and I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. Everything is cooked to order, so lovely fresh flavours. We'll definitely be going again.

Ten of us went for a special birthday celebration. The place was packed so reserving a table is essential. The atmosphere was excellent and the food was served very efficiently and was excellent. Sarah, the host, was friendly and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and professional. Would recommend.

It’s always a pleasure visiting The Lethbridge Arms. It is such a warm, friendly and relaxing pub and the front of house staff Chevaughn and her team are very welcoming. It’s lovely to see the pub busy. The food/menu's are lovely. I can not recommend a local pub enough to try. No one has to take my word for it… try it for yourselves. It’s always worth booking to avoid disappointment. It’s also great to see a pub open and busy… Enjoy……

My partner and I went for our anniversary. The place has a cosy pub feeling , doesn't look like a conventional Thai restaurant. But the food is amazing, real authentic Thai food. Good range of vegan options. Our waiter, Lewis, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back soon again!
