There didn’t seem to anything on the menu for less than £10 except cake. The service was fine. But my Brie cranberry and bacon ciabatta wasn’t well filled, overwhelmingly cranberry sauce, and the small coffee cup was only 2/3 filled. The cafe seems to be cutting costs.

Had a lovely lunch here today - really enjoyed the fish platter. Also recommend the ciabatta sarnies. Great coffee and cake selection for pud!

Off the beaten track but well worth the journey. Was going to stop elsewhere but this place looked good and was dog friendly. Farmhouse Ploughman’s, a regular Ploughman’s and 2 jacket potato were all amazing. Cannot fault the food, service and location. Best Farmhouse Ploughman’s I’ve ever had, so we spoke to owner after to let her know how pleased we all were and she seems very pleased.

Salad was disappointing. The feta not at all crumbly or feta-flavoured, too few walnuts, a LOT of beetroot a small amount of mixed leaves and absolutely no dressing. There was what appeared to be balsamic and olive oil on the table. On closer inspection that was not the case. The vinegar was very harsh and I couldn't work out what the oil was except it wasn't even poor olive. I felt as though I was eating from a jar of pickled beetroot. Not an experience I will repeat - so to speak. The panini were as you would get anywhere. Again, served with the same sad and naked side salad. It's such a shame that, with such a lovely location and attached to an interesting visitor attraction, this café can't do a bit better than this ho-hum offering.

A lovely cafe situated in the Coates English Willow site at Stoke St Gregory. Friendly staff, great value for money and extremely good food. Great dog walks around the site too.

Went here for birthday afternoon tea, great food, polite waitress could have been made to look a little more special as had been pre booked.

Called in for a light lunch . Nice surroundings, pleasant setting , Not busy at all, Food menu freely available, but no drinks menu , when I asked for one I was told it was on the table , which it was not so had to ask again, Staff seemed ok , but no please or thank you when I ask how much the bill was or when I paid. Food was average at best , I had a ciabatta Brie bacon and cranberry this took a fair time to arrive ,and the roll was stale and bone dry , The salad was very small with one cherry tomato cut into four . Lovely mocha though, But very disappointed with the food .

Couldn’t use knife and fork because they were filthy and brought out on a dirty tray. My boyfriends jacket potato was burnt and hard and there was no offer of supplements. I asked for the table to be cleaned and the dirt from the table was brushed on to my lap. Overall an unpleasant experience.

Perfect for breakfast or a light lunch. Very good hot chocolate - using chocolate prepared locally by Somerset Chocolate (who also have a shop at this site). Range of sandwiches and ciabatta to suit most tastes. Delicious Cheese on Toast. Lovely cakes, scones and teacakes! Gluten free and dairy free options are also available. Seating available inside or outside.

A good place to stop for cycling with plenty of space and secure racks to lock against and with view of the bike. Only had coffee so can't comment on the food but definitely will return. Lovely surroundings with some special shops for unique gifts.

We recently had pur baby son passed away and we approached the Allerford to ask them to hold the wake for us. They kindly did this for us free of charge. They helped us to set up the room as we wanted it as well as put on a lovely spread of food and had a great area for kids to play (as we wanted to make it child friendly). Thank you so much for making such a hard day better for us. We highly recommend these lovely people and this great establishment.

Had the Sunday lunch..the roast potatoes were very over done and even though I asked what was scattered all over the meal..the server never came back to offer an answer..so any allergys were not addressed she also did not offer any condiments of any kind..so I will be advising not to bother to visit this pub which is a shame for the new owners.
