The best restaurants serving British food in England

Not many decent drinking establishments in Bedford but The Standard is a nice place to meet up with friends. Live music was very loud when it started and drinks options especially craft beers are a bit limited but on the whole a decent place to spend an evening.

10/10 if all you want is toast, otherwise it’s just toast so the toast decides for you. Pitiful amount of beans in their breakfast selection. Does it come with butter? Or is it just toast? There comes a point where there just too much toast. Sad sad sad times

I always throughly enjoy coming along to the M&S cafe in Stratford, Westfields, whereby I am greeted with Billy. I have met Billy on numerous occasions and always goes above and beyond! Such a valuable member of your staff- don’t let him leave!

Over priced..staff not very accomodating..had a complaint about the food being tasteless and bland considering the cost..manager very rude didnt even offer to replace the meal with something else it wasnt like i was asking for a refund i just wanted what i supposlingly paid for "flavoursome" instead i got bland and cold would not recommend this place to anybody

The food was delightful - compliments to the chef and the service was excellent - Even though all the staff were nice and friendly- the two young lads Owen & Jamie provided an excellent service and both worked very hard. They were friendly and helpful - Nice to see these days - will definitely visit again.

Some of the worst staff ever! When I was overcharged for an item that was incorrectly priced I was told I should check the 13 digit bar code instead of the large printed price tag & then told I was rude when I questioned this. What is wrong with these people? Many others have also said how dreadful the staff at this store are. They have no respect for the customers that ultimately pay their wages.

Ok, so the cafe in Canterbury opens @ 8:30, however drinks only! the food is unavailable until 9 am ! the person behind the counter was dressed as if she had just got of her sofa. No uniform did not want to interact with customers. Asda if this is how you run your stores no wonder you are losing market share. Where is the management?? Store standards !? Shame there isn’t 0 star rating

Breakfast was truly awful 2 burnt should have been 3 sausage luckily only served 2 . Rock hard egg .fried bread like concrete. Ultimate breakfast just under £10 .avoid ...............................................................

Great atmosphere in brilliant surroundings. Food is great and very reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to. Return visit.

Filthy run down place that used to be lovely. Ascerbic, unpleasant manageress who verbally assaults customers who dare to point out that she served very clearly off products. The staff seem miserable. Service is slow and grudging. Simple Items listed on the menu (orange juice !) unavailable for a breakfast serving despite the cafe being less than 2 miles from a massive Asda. Tables remain uncleared and filthy long after customers left.

A ham quiche given to Jewsish vegetarian ! Quiche also not cooked. Staff advised and rudely insisted it was cooked. No apologies just an attitude of we are right you’re wrong. Sarcastic muttered comments The attitude of the manageress was the same insisted it was melted cheese not undercooked egg. Again no apologies just an attitude of we know best you’re wrong Will definitely not go again

Pretty dire I’m afraid All cakes looked bought in. I had a scone hoping it was the safest bet. It wasn’t. Dry. Came with one butter and the cheapest jam imaginable ( I saw the jar !) Tea ok but can’t go wrong with that right ?! Apart from the mug of tea still had the tea bag in it Staff friendly and hard working but management very poor and standard of food poor. Don’t bother

I was in here for a drink with friends and girl friend .we was so happy this was going to be open again but when we got here there was an irsh man here that walked around like he owned the place and gave us no respect we was not happy on the other hand there was a black guy he told us his name was Roy he treated us with so much respect yes we have a reputation for being bad but on this occasion he come and sat with us and made friends like we was human and like he was not scared of us but in our culture we stick to our own but i have to say he desolated the situation with the other management by just talking like he knows our background and wants to get to know his customers if this not had happened with Roy it would have been a different situation Roy we all love you keep up the good work will be down tomorrow .the other manager just wants to fight and just thinls hes hard .Roy showed us there are ways to dealing with management in different ways .

Servicios pequeños con puntos de venta estándar MOTO que son básicamente todas las tiendas normales de High Street con precios a menudo inflados. No particularmente ocupado cuando visitamos que, me pareció, significaba que estábamos recibiendo una experiencia más agradable que en la hora pico. Bastante limpio y me dio la impresión de que pudo haberse beneficiado recientemente de un cambio de imagen y creo que es uno de los mejores sitios de Moto. La principal queja fueron los precios que a menudo eran significativamente más altos que los de la tienda normal de High Street de los proveedores. (Un M&S huevos de Pascua al por menor en las tiendas de la ciudad a £ 7 era £ 7. 75 aquí) Por lo demás, un área de servicio no tan malo.
