I have no issue with self service tills, I do have an issue with there not being nearly enough staff supporting the tills. A far from pleasant shopping experience today. Queues every where. Sainsbury main board need to note that current way of operating will result in fewer customers.

The park itself is beautiful..a gem in sheffield..would recommend any 1 to go The cafe...unfortunately is knowhere near the standard of the park "£6.50 for a tuna melt is extortionate. With a small salad and 4 crisps It wasnt that busy but we were waiting roughly 30 mins..even for our drinks..i understand that eating out has become a luxury but even dick turpin wore a mask.the food was cooked ok but i will not recommend or advise anyone to come tocafe..fetch a packed lunch

I ordered a small latte coffee for £4.15! What I got was a cup off hot water and milk that hadn’t been frothed proper. It tasted horrible. I mentioned, to one of the girls about the froth. She took my drink, I thought she would give. Me a new drink. Instead she just put a bit of froth on the top. I was shocked! I usually have a really nice coffee in Starbucks and it needs to be good as it is expensive. I won’t be going back. I threw the drink away it was horrible

Rotten food. Don’t substitute but will happily take off what you don’t like and not even change the pricing how’s this right? Chewy soggy food. My 5 year old could cook better!!

I came here to relax with my partner. And instead, I’ll be leaving absolutely reeling. I have never felt the need to send back food, but when given a cold burger, I had got just over a quater way through it and felt like it wasn’t right. My partner then had to go find someone to complain as no one had been to the table to check how our food was. Eventually was asked if I would like Something else. To which I got a gourmet burger instead… clearly the chef was annoyed that I sent the first burger back. So this time I got a cremated burger. Again… before anyone had even come to check if things were okay this time… my partner had to go find someone to send this one back. In public. This wasn’t an issue for the staff. However once we got to reception like requested to discuss a refund. The manager made it her mission to say I should have spoken up sooner and that there didn’t look like anything was wrong with the burger. Insinuating that I was just making a fuss for no reason. Now I hope the manager is reading this. Because how dare you speak to me that way. You can’t expect someone to just speak up instantly, (even though I literally did), you have no idea who a person is, that person could be autistic, filled with anxiety. JUST LIKE ME. Might I also add. If I am unsatisfied with something, you don’t give me your option on it. When I said that the second burger was pretty much cremated and dry. You told me that it didn’t look it and there’s not been any other problems… clearly you need some training in customer service. Yes you may have refunded us. but you don’t get to speak to people that way I left the restaurant/bar, feeling insulted and treated like a child. Currently debating on maybe just to pack up and go.

The rudest service that I’ve ever had in my life specially the owner he was so rude to us I would never go there again my nephew was asking for some chocolate sauce the owner refused to sale or just give it to her and he answered really rude I would advise everybody to go somewhere else cause this is the worst place to go

Always bring my Dad here when I come back to Darlington. It doesn’t feel like a generic shopping centre cafe and is always clean and tidy. Usually just come for coffee which is always good and although past reviews are not the best the last two occasions have been served by very pleasant young assistants. On Monday 10.30 ish the assistant was smiling, chirpy and looked interested in her role ( she may still be training as another lady was pleasantly showing her something on the till) Later as we left a gentleman quickly cleared our table. Keep up the good work.

Like Cafe Nero nearby - this place is an absolute dump!! Rude male served me with scummy individual standing behind me with no mask on, breathing on me. When I told that individual to stand back, he said:- “What is wrong with you.” My friend said in 2018 when she went in there with me - “This place is such a dump!” She was right.

Went in for a drink. Looked at his handpull beers. Man serving didn't offer any constructive advice on the beers available except one was like a bitter. I ask fir a small taste only to be refused. Apparently his beer is cheap enough to start with. So I said if I have a pint and don't like it I've wasted my money at which point he shrugged. We left and went to the church keys pub with a lovely welcome nice beets and a log fire. RESULT. THANK YOU.

We stopped for a quick lunch. The Eat & Drink Co.(EDC) was right beside Costa and they seemed to share staff (same uniforms) who were friendly, and helpful, and we actually thought we were ordering from Costa initially.There was a limited range of food available and we we opted for beef and potato soup which was actually a thick vegetable soup with beef. Not quite what we had expected but it was quite satisfying, and all right for a quick motorway stop.

Absolute joke of a place, waited 35 minutes for 4 hot chocolates that cost an eye watering £17.20. Steer clear it’s just dick Turpin without the mask

We stopped in for some juice and a coffee. We normally like J&J and they are normally pretty standard. The place was fine, location good, juice good...as you'd expect from a Joes. All and all everything was fine. I saw many reviews about rude staff, but the staff were fine. I would not say overly friendly, but not rude at all. Would say its as good as any other near by Joes.

I've recently heard the displeasure of having to use this Subway. An order was placed for me and my friends for lunch. This was placed for the app for delivery. Unfortunately it took over an hour and a 1/2 for anything to even arrive and there was no mention of our order being lost. It transpired that the order was lost and and hence the delay. The food that arrived was completely stone cold despite being marketed as toasted. The chicken in the sandwiches was extremely dry and robbery try and robbery and there was minimal salad. I do not think that we will be using this branch of Subway again.

There was a tension in the air. It soon became apparent that a lot of customers were experiencing long delays on their orders. Some people explained they had been waiting for 50 minutes and still hadn't received their order. We decided to join the long queue with a number of others all asking for a refund. Not a great experience. There were lots of tables that had not been cleared. There seemed to be not enough staff. Also a horrible experience having to use the screens rather than being able to go to the counter and speak to a person. We won't be rushing back - suggest you avoid.

The service was terrible. One staff member, Kayla, clearly lacked experience as a barista. She swore when she realized she had put my coffee in a takeaway cup, even though I had told her I was staying in. She touched her long hair and then put her finger in my mug. The coffee was cold, and my mum’s cup was missing a saucer. Overall, the staff are poorly trained and will ruin your drink and your day.
