Lovely porridge, and brilliant friendly service from Darren and Angie (Ann?), made such a difference to our day, what a pleasure a smile and a cheerful welcome make, thank you.

Popped into the cafe for a hot chocolate and scone,my friend had pop and a scone. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff were most helpful and very very friendly Angela(took note of the badge)couldn't have been nicer if she'd tried, and made us feel welcome . We'll definitely pop in again soon Highly recommended

The place is a shambles! The old lady manager, I think (name badge said Helen), was so insulting to the other members of staff, who were all running around while she barked orders at them to do this and to do that and to get the lunch meals on at 11:00 even though breakfast menu is served till 12:00. Breakfast menu and lunch menu together? Never been known! She even snapped at the young man doing the dishes, and demanded he come help on the counter, despite there being no cutlery for people. Then she disappeared round the back but you could see her on her mobile. The queue was round the corner, into the George section, but she still didn't help them. I'm going to visit the cafe again, hopefully she's not there. The atmosphere might be better. If not, I'll go elsewhere!

Coffee latte ok, price for toddler meal £1 good but the rest awful. Staff miserable, high chair was left with crusty food on it. Not a place I’d go too if it hadn’t been for the toddler needed his lunch.

Called in here for a quick cuppa and also had an orange and chocolate muffin. Cafe airy and light but noisy with children running about and crying. Would visit again when quieter.

Visited on a whim with a friend after seeing the 3 for £10 cocktail sign outside. An absolutely beautiful interior, very friendly, polite and helpful staff. You can mix and match the cocktails which arrived quickly and high quality. Then after 5pm there is an complimentary cheese board which is amazing and of the highest quality and standard. I do not understand how the place wasn't packed. Cocktail deals and free cheese my idea of heaven. Would highly recommend.

What an Amazing place. Set in an old Smugglers Cave the atmosphere was nice & the food was great. There is a lift down to the restaurant but it closes at 10pm for some reason ? After that you have to use the long stairs up from the seafront. If you have mobility problems like I do you'd be better getting out before 10pm. I would imagine it's great in the summer as you go right down to the seafront. Sadly it was dark when I went with friends but I'll definitely be going back 👍

Good pub, plenty busy, with just a few obvious people enjoying their first ever pint!
