Asda Superstore in Eastleigh

Some of the worst staff ever! When I was overcharged for an item that was incorrectly priced I was told I should check the 13 digit bar code instead of the large printed price tag & then told I was rude when I questioned this. What is wrong with these people? Many others have also said how dreadful the staff at this store are. They have no respect for the customers that ultimately pay their wages.

Would never use again staff rude manager even worse practically accused me of being a liar. Food cold and half of it missing and coffees were cold. The sooner this place shuts down the better.

Went to Asda and wanted to use the toilet the smell was awful it looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks let alone checked and signed every hour the floor was fifth the toilets them-self was not clean the vents was thick with dust god knows what was growing there,I could not and would not use them I spoke to one of the managers who said they were very short staffed but would look into this he was very pleasant.I don’t know why anyone would use these toilets they are a health risk and as for Asda being a good store surly one of their priorities would be a clean environment for the public and staff it was quite clear that they do not get cleaned regular or checked I am very disappointed with Asda other stores do not seem to have this problem you needs to sort this out quickly for the sake of your customers and when you think about what everyone has been through with covid cleanness must be one of the top priority.

Tired, dirty, food and packaging waste strewn across the floor, the floor covering breaking up and dangerous in numerous locations, arrived 10 minutes after opening and the floor aisles gangways were filthy, looked like days of build up. I think the store manger needs to walk his store and look through the eyes of the customer.

One of the biggest hypermarkets in Hampshire, in the middle of a pandemic and they had no masks left on sale. There's a rolling announcement telling customers it's mandatory to wear a mask, but oh, by the way, we don't have any. That store serves hundreds of thousands of people, the might of Asda, cannot supply masks. It's bordering on irresponsible.

I could find a specific product and a girl named Caitlin helped me find this product and directed me and my elderly grandma to the right area as we had never been here before.

Ordered face to face with a staff member who clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing. After ordering and waiting along time. We took our order home to find there was one of the kids burgers missing. It's really not difficult to get a simple order correct. Looking at the reviews already it's definitely a place I won't be going again. Lesson learned to check my order as this place are useless!

Member of staff ‘Jasmine’ bullies and vocally gossips about customers and their appearances. Clearly not a store for you if you have any anxieties, insecurities or mental health problems. Not the experience you want from a weekly shop!!

Staff are rude and unhelpful. So was spoken to like scum because I ask a lady on self checkout to verify an age related product. After giving attitude because she was too busy talking to her friends, nothing was said she just disappeared !! Completely disrespectful will take my money elsewhere in future

Shocking McDonald's in Asda's eastleigh, food cold, forgot our French fries..if I could give it 0 star I would bunch of useless kids that clearly haven't had proper training from a crap American brand. Please close down all McDonald's bloody horrible food.

Shame on you, need education in customer relationship and dealing. Terrible experience ASDA should be focusing on educating their staff about mannerism and equality.

Me and my 3 friends went for a lunch in between college. All 4 of us got cokes, they all tasted like fizzy water. My friend who got coke zero tasted awful, so she took it back, and they replaced it with the exact same tasting drink.

McDonald's in Asda the service is Awful if it closes at 10 pm they should do take away only from 21.30pm and not be so rude. to be told that we have 5mins to eat the food ordered it at 21.30 and got it at 21.45.. Plus it was disgusting in their food containers everywhere floor was disgusting.. Don't think the Health inspector would be impressed by this.. SORT OUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS Will not be returning

I took the kids to McDonald's in Asda, and left very disappointed. Table wasn't clean, and when I asked them to clean it they only wiped the worst bits off, not the whole table. The food arrived and half of it was missing. The good itself was clearly put together in a rush. Not impressed.

What food is in stock is tasteless and cold don't waste your time going here and try and get to a different one

Unfortunately a huge disappointment. Came in with family to find no fizzy, no milkshake, no ice cream, no fruit shoots, no orange juice or no tropicana as had sold out. My gripe is not with the serving staff, i didn't envy their job today but being such a large company this is some poor planning on someones part. I appreciate machine breakages are unavoidable but bottled drinks, your customer service could have been hugely imoroved buy utilising the massive supermarket you are situated in. Purchase more drinks and deal with it your end later. Then there's the happy meal toy, this might not be a big thing to some people but for my children it is. The toy in question was faulty, so was the replacement, and the replacement after that. The gentlemen attempting to help me was underpressure and helpful, however, upon seeing a display of TY beanies I was informed despite this promotion being finished i was unable to have a display one. He did make the effort to supply us with one 'found' in the kitchen but it was very much a shambles of an operation in there today. Overal, disappointing.

Very empty shelves, messy shelves and for such a large store quite poor selection of products. Also lack of checkouts open.

Just like most McDonald’s long wait for fast food served cold. Speed a lot o people buying takeaway and then finding a table to eat it on.

The only cafe restaurant in Eastleighthat don't sell decaff coffee or tea.so will not be shopping here again.

Bit untidy for a 6 o'clock in the evening visit, especially around the veg department, the dairy section could of done with a tidy too!

Love asda , they need more people collecting trollies as on a windy day they often blow into cars . Shelves are not as stocked up as they could be so would be handy having staff stock shelves regularly

Good range of dishes and all at reasonable prices. 2 decent sized hot lunches plus drinks for less than a tenner. Surroundings might not be conducive to a relaxed lunch but certainly okay of you are hungry.

This cafe has been not bad for the last few years.......today was the second visit this year 2019. We came back to see if our last visit was a bad day for them........I had steak and ale pie with chips,peas and gravy........so first warm food served on a cold plate is not good,nor is tasteless peas and gravy. My partner had ploughman’s quiche chips and peas....the quiche was microwaved to death......so very dry chips not to warm and peas tasteless........so will not be coming back.v

This no-frills cafe is handy if you are passing through or near to Chandler's Ford. We ate a hearty breakfast here on a not-very-busy weekday morning, although we did arrive before 9am. The food was excellent value & my 9-item breakfast was a very generous helping. Toast & drinks are extra, but its still a proper all-day job at a price almost anyone can afford.

Came here to pick up some bits. Wished I hadn't have bothered. Stick to the nicer stores like Aldi nearby or Tescos. This Asda is in need of a big refurb to make it feel clean and just generally get a nicer feel to it. Just feels shabby and tacky every time I've been here. Will be staying away from here.

Having lived in Chandlers ford since 1990 I have always used this place, before it was Gateway superstore.

There are different breakfast options available at different prices, just depends on your appetite..!!

Don't eat here! Staff were miserable or talking amongst themselves, it was as if they weren't there to serve me! Breakfast was five items including eggs but they couldn't cook eggs. £2.50 was too much! Toilets were disgusting and needed cleaning at 10am on a Monday morning! Avoid at all costs

I love coming here. It's a huge store which stocks everything you need from stationary to clothing. 2 floor store with clothing upstairs which is ladies mens and children. There's a cafe downstairs which is reasonably priced. Takes a while to look around being so big.definitely the best asda in Southampton

Huge with a massive selection! Definitely our favoured Asda! Would highly recommend shopping here :)

Yo y mi amigo con su hijo a comprar comida y nos dieron una botella de Mezcladora cóctel passoa. Mi amigo es 29 con su hijo de 5 años, yo 23 y karen que trabaja alrededor de check-out exprés (de color marrón oscuro de pelo) pidieron su identificación, ella tenía en el coche, así que la señora se negó a vender alcohol. Yo tenía mi pasaporte, así que pensé que le vaya a mí y a mi propia. Esa mujer me siguió y me pidió mi identificación, tras verificar que dijo: "Oh, no le permitirá comprar este porque estás comprando que para su amigo. "pedí hablar con el director y pedí mi pasaporte de vuelta sin embargo mantuvo mi documento y me fui a encontrar al gerente. El director explicó que la política es porque hay 2 personas y uno de ellos no tiene un ID que no pueden vender. Suficiente, fuimos a coger el ID del coche y regresamos. Estaba muy tranquilo en el check-out exprés y la señora nos vio y completamente ignorado, cuando preguntamos a mostrar nuestros documentos ella groseramente respondió "estoy ocupado". Fue a ayudar a otro cliente y la manera en que ella estaba hablando con otra chica era grosero. Ella era muy grosero y poco profesional.

My husband and I used to enjoy going to Asdas restaurant to have a good breakfast, but for the last couple of times we have been the food has been terrible and the service very poor, you cannot see what you are ordering anymore as they have the food behind a screen, the cutlery is always dirty, the eggs always hard, they haven't always got fried eggs which seems silly when its supposed to be included in the breakfast, my husband wanted coke but that wasn't working, it seems to be getting worse and Im sure the saying 'service with a smile' means give excellent customer service with a smile and not the miserable faces you have working there

stopped here today on our way home from a day out Food was as expected it was hot and fresh. Service was good didn't have the full range but it was 3.30pm but what we had we could not fault

Comimos lasaña y mi amigo tenía pata de vacuno. . Ambos con patatas fritas.. Después de esperar a pagar y conseguir cafés nos decepcionó chips no eran muy caliente. Dijeron que la camarera y ella inmediatamente tomó las placas de atrás a la cocina y sustituirá las patatas fritas con los seres directamente de freidora. Precioso almuerzo!

No estoy seguro de si este es el supermercado Asda, pero es el más cercano a la estación central de tren que fuimos. Estábamos buscando una tienda con comida preparada como pollos asados o ensaladas dinámicos, pero no tenía que en este lugar y no había fruta o verduras orgánicas o, pero aún así pude encontrar algo para nuestro gusto exigente! !

Quite possibly the worst place ever. If you have the chance shop elsewhere, or eat roadkill, its better quality.

Arrived on a Saturday at 2pm for a quick bite. Asked for Fish and Chips .. "aint got no fish" replies the assistant. No problem so I thought id go for the Gourmet Burger with cheese, bacon and onion rings. The assistant said she would bring it over. My other half in the meantime had soup of the day and sandwich which he said was good. Mine arrived after ten minutes .. cold. Cold bread roll, cold fatty bacon, cold un melted cheese... no onion rings.. luke warm reheated chips.. no salad but a nice pot of coleslaw.. As I was hungry I thought oh well lets give it a go. NO. It was disgusting. The burger was the worst thing id even spat out.Well done Asda. Awful food, awful service. Sainsburys cook to order for the same price.Avoid at all costs.

Fast and cheap, perfect for families in a rush to do shopping with hungry children. Or like myself a quick bite on the way home. Can't beat a full English or ham egg and chips!

It's not so much the size of the place, the fact they keep moving things around, the nightmare to park. It's the customers and specifically the feral ones who won't do anything about their feral kids. Seriously I think I have damaged ear drums from the screaming, and bad hips from having said feral children ramming their parents trolley into me.

I always visit asda as it's close to my work. Staff are always friendly and helpful. This Asda has everything.

This is the biggest supermarket around and has ample parking. Best before data aren't always great and they don't have a great choice in fresh soups, but otherwise there is a huge choice with lots of offers.

Price is right , meat god too. Their choose your own pizza filling is excellent. Their clothes line is good value for money also .

It's been over a week since I took the duvet cover in the order below to your Hatfield branch for a refund and I'm still waiting for an email to confirm my refund.I was told that the refund could only be processed at the self service refund machine but it was not faulty. The young man that assisted me in the store collected the duvet cover and promised to call me once my refund has been processed but I'm still waiting.I rang the store on Friday morning to find out what's going on, I was transferred back and forth because no one could find my order on your system despite all the information I provided.I escalated the matter to a manager who then told me that she has my details and will process my refund immediately. She said I will receive an email once it's been done and she will even call me.She left me a voice message 4hrs after our conversation only to tell me that she could not find my order details. Very shocking !!!! So one of your managers lied to me and it only got worse when someone from the store rang me after 8pm just to ask for all the information that I gave to the manager I spoke to in the morning.I was very frustrated at this point and I asked the young man to get the store manager to call me the next day.I waited for the call that never happened so I rang the store and asked to be transferred to the store manager. I was left on hold for a couple of minutes then got told that the store manager phone line was busy. The lady I spoke to took my telephone number and promised me that I will get a call back but I'm still waiting.I'm sure you don't care if I say that I'm never going to shop with you again but this message will be going on social media because it is the worst experience I've ever had. Visited 13/10/16 for a breakfast. The serving counters have emblazoned on them (sic) "Freshly prepared in store". That might have been the case several hours earlier ( or possibly the day before !). You can't actually see the food, ( its behind the aforementioned counter screens, but obviously mine had been under those heatlamps) for some considerable duration..If you're thinking your breakfast is going to be "freshly prepared" then think again. Mine was lukewarm, rubbery eggs, rock hard bacon, dried out mushrooms, sausages ( very cheap ones btw ) and hash browns, all served on a cold plate. It was disgusting.My advice to diners would be to choose carefully and check what is actually freshly prepared, i say this because someone in the queue ordered an omelette and the chap said i'll bring it over, he did 5 minutes or so later so i'm assuming that was freshly prepared ( or was it they didn't have any under the heat lamps - i don't know. ).

Well I was spending some time in the town and needed a quick toilet stop, the place was clean and the staff friendly.

Some bottles that I brought for my children came up at a higher price on the till, she needed to have a look which I understand but came back saying they state £4 not £3 when I read that it was £3 trying to con me into buying them for the £4

The main reason we went here today was to use their photo developing machine. My daughter needed to get some photos printed off for a college assignment. The machines and the photo shop were closed. Looking at the opening times they are only open from 5pm most days. What is the point in having a photo shop if it is closed all day!!

Breakfast have been poor as reviewed but my visit 29/07/16 was great. It's all change on the counter and all was good

Have been here several times. Is a very big store with everything you could possibly need but the place is so depressing. It just feels very dirty when you walk in and it is always busy and stressful when you're trying to get just a few bits. Avoid this establishment if at all possible!

.. but they will NOT be soft yolked with an Asda Breakfast .. while visiting the area we popped in for breakfast .. I enjoyed the Sausage Bap got 2 sausages 1 day and 3 the next !!.. My husband ordered the Early Bird Breakfast he asked for a "soft yolk egg if possible" not happening here .. "they are all the same from the egg machine" said the surly male server .. the bacon was also like cardboard, coffee undrinkable .. one day they make it .. another day you are sent to the self service dispenser ..also no chance of seeing the food pre order as its hidden behind opaque glass with the breakfast offer adverts covering it ..

I popped in for a quick breakfast and asked for sauce to go with it please. Yer sure. .But can only get one sauce Sashy per meal for free. Then after that you have to pay for it. .disgusting I think .sort it out Asda

Grim surroundings, no natural daylight. Basic food choices sat on hot plate. Even tea wasn't great. Ok in an emergency.

Was not impressed with the cooked breakfast at Asda Cafe. Put on a cold plate and the food was barely warm and shriveled up. Coffee wasn't hot either. Only good thing is that you get free wifi in the store, apart from that will not eat in this cafe again.

Asda is a big store and does everything you need. I buy clothes, food and do my weekly shopping here. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Queuing can be a bit hit and miss like anywhere really but they manage their queuing system well.

Dirt every were cold food and filthy cutlery! Had an attuide when I asked for clean cutlery which took them for ever to get. In the end got a refund never going back again!

Waitrose may have more luxury items but ASDA generally beats Morrisons, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco's on price. Indeed, when you return home (after 3 hours) you can tap your ASDA receipt code into their internet site and if you did not get comparable items at a total of 10% cheaper than all four rival supermarkets, you can print down a voucher for the difference. Sometimes ASDA is 10% cheaper, sometimes 20% cheaper. When it is not, you will get a voucher anyway. I have had many vouchers for 1/2/3/4/5/6 pounds, which you can use at your next shop. So, we do most of our day-to-day shopping at ASDA. They have a good number of tills open, so there is not much of a delay to pay. They have a fresh fish counter and a good fresh bakery selection. It's a huge store and you can find most of what you want. ALDI and LIDL may be cheaper (particularly on vegetables) but they have nowhere near the same selection of goods.

We have often eaton at Asda over the years, and the many changes in layout. This is the worst visit and maybe the last. Everywhere it is dirty. You cannot see the food you are buying, they have put screens over the warming area. It seems the rules of not taking a trolley into the restaurant have been dropped. I had Ham, Egg & Chips, the egg was cold!!!

I often go to eat lunch at Asda which is cheap and often cheerful but if you don't make it early the food has dried up and not fit to eat anymore. The answer to this I have deduced is to cover the servery glass with a non see through material so that customers cannot see the condition of the food they are about to select.Customers beware, trick or treat.

Great shop, can be horrible when it's busy but that's no ones fault. Plus you can always find what you're looking for! Even if you can't get the exact item there is always a good alternative.

Decided to stop and have a bite to eat at the restaurant in the superstore breakfast was on offer and I found it to be very enjoyable. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The food was cooked to perfection and the choice on offer was well within acceptable parameters. There was plenty of seating so no problem getting a table. The whole area was clean and tidy with no dirty dishes or anything left on the tables. I found it to be a most enjoyable visit and I will go back there again.

To give perspective i was a member of the management team in the early 1990s. How this store has lowered its standards is shamefull. I shop there several times a week due to location. I attempted to stop smoking nearly 2 years ago, availabity is on and off for nicotine tablets, driving me to continue smoking on and off. Very poor show from a big brand who we are supposed to trust...sort it out....now!!

Went last night between 7 and 8 for our monthly shop!And there was hardly any thing innate shop! Had to buy alternative items and this is the 6th in a row time we have been in and there has been no Belgium buns from the instore bakery! Both not happy!

My wife and I visited the cafe/restaurant recently for a bite to eat. We all selected an English breakfast but we were told they did not have mushrooms. When we got to the till my daughter looked around to see a tray of mushrooms being put out. She pointed this out to the cashier who just shrugged their shoulders and asked for the payment.Then when we were eating our meal we found a dirty curly hair on one of the eggs. I was almost sick. My wife told a member of staff who went away with our receipt only to return saying 'here's your money back for that one meal'. Not exactly an apology as she swiftly walked away. Have been shopping here since moving into the area 4 years ago. Over the past couple of months have noticed that availability is becoming very poor especially over the weekend on the fresh produce aisles. None of the staff seem that bothered and rarely enough tills open.

This is a massive store, in fact when it opened back in the early 80's it was the first Hypermarket built in England and traded as Carrefour. Asda have made a good job and its now typical of all Asda stores offering everything the shopper needs.Its busy and large so be prepared to walk around to find what you want.Nice cafe offering food at good value prices.

Asdas cafe sell the best fish n chips! The size of the fish were huge and it was pretty cheap too :) well definitely try it out more often
