Chefs cannot count! Twice now I have been short on wings in chicken basket, first time I got an apology and missing wings, second time NO apology and no missing wing 🤨 Better Spoons nearby

The second Wetherspoons I’ve been in out of over 150 that if you order a pint glass of Pepsi Max without ice that it only contains 3/4 of a pint and 1/4 glass of fresh air, sure there’s a law against short measures so as with the other one may I suggest if you want a full pint of drink don’t come here, I certainly won’t be coming here again!

What a ridiculous statement was made by the security guard outside of the pub today when I tried to come in at 9:45 on Saturday night to have dinner after a long week of work. I’m not even drinking. The pub representative, who refused to give me his name, asked me to stay outside the door for 45 minutes. They cleaned the bar because they were short on staff. Never the less even after I asked to let me in and wait to be served when they ready to do so, as it is a November and it is cold outside I still was asked to wait outside on the cold . Please anyone explain me , what happened with service and hospitality in the UK .. and one more , when I asked to introduce him self , the member of staff told me he won’t give me his name

Great place, good food and drink

Unfortunately Wetherspoons does attract a certain clientele which isn’t always the best to sat amongst. But the food is cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. The service is quick. The place is located right near train station if you want a quick bite to eat.

Good pub, always busy, especially on curry night! Good food, very reasonably priced all round. Staff are always polite and helpful. A great local, if a little noisy at times.

Good food reasonably priced, hard to find a table at times (still seems like The Home Tavern) one bloke , one pint, one table but you can't beat it for Spoons food, good service and " entertaining" locals. Not a place to take the vicar 😁

They had almost no beer last I went, but they're normally better stocked. Smaller wetherspoons, right by the railway station.

Don’t often come to this Pub much but when I do, there’s a certain member of staff named William that deserves a a higher appraisal for outstanding customer service always makes the effort to smile and make you feel welcome, coming from a bartender it’s a hard role, and you can tell he always puts his 110% effort into it, give this man a promotion!!!!!

Went to Wagon Works again today. It has to have the friendliest and most helpful cheerful staff of any Wetherspoons (and we go often!) I don’t know the chaps name, but I wasn’t sure my order went through on the app, and he immediately checked and made sure we had what we ordered, and quickly as we were in a rush. He should be commended for his welcoming approach, and his great customer service

Been going to this Wetherspoons for many years it's changed a lot obv with new staff but there are at least 9 or 10 original staff there including Hanna the manageress but all staff are helpful and cheerful considering the never ender many new and regular customers that go there remember while us customers are socialising all the staff bare working for us on the other side of the Bar so I have great respect for all the staff including the chefs that prepare and cook the never ending food meals so next time remember the good in the staff when your happy and having a meal and a drink well done all the staff John Gillingham a very regular customer over many years 👍👌

Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere inside. No trouble. But unfortunately our food was cold and didn't taste great, such a shame. How you can you mess up jacket potato and chilli con carni. Very disappointed.

Breakfast was good and delivered in five minutes. Went for the Freedom breakfast with coffee. Nice tidy Spoons which was relatively quiet.

Pop in for the occasional leaving do or get together following work. Always reasonably priced and busy. Cheap beer and a large selection.

Service was a little slow. Food wasn't the best, and It felt a little thrown together. It's close to the station and town centre. There is some paid parking close by. It's probably not one we would visit again. Even though the staff were friendly.

Great pub to chill after work. Sun outside and a good atmosphere. Use the app for drinks to your table !!

Opens 8am, very good for breakfast. lunch time meals and refillable coffee. Serves food all day until late Bar opens at 9am until late. Popular pub opposite railway station, near to buses and taxis. Friendly staff, very good service. Still as good as ever.

Had to come back and leave a review as the last 3 times we've come here, Will has given us exceptional service, and I never go out of my way to say this! He always has a smile on his face and is super friendly and cracking jokes. Genuinely great service from this guy, rare to see and hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

Not a regular of Wetherspoons but always admire their business model. Found myself here for a few hours while the motorbike was being serviced nearby. From 9.30am through the morning it's wonderfully busy. Reminded me of an old pub or inn many, many years ago. Families having breakfast, night workers having a beer, just a great atmosphere. The hub locally. I had the big breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Very good food. Looking at their prices, I wish they had a place nearer me in Hampshire, or where I live in India!!🙏🏼 Well done. Excellent food. A large wetherspoons pub in a good location, there is a big multi storey car park nearby which makes it easy ,wide range of drinks, fast service, a well kept and clean pub....highly recommend

Hi, I just wanted to write and review and reward the staff that were supported when certain members of the public were cruel because I was sat there waiting for a train and I was in their seat to watch the foot. Not only were they misogynist pigs but also old men ganging up on a girl on her own is despicable behaviour. The employees on that day were super supportive and caring and I have a lot of respect and love to give to them. Hospitality can be hard, I did it for a lot of years since I was 14. Thank you guys! I appreciate it. Sarah x

Prices of drink very good however. I heard staff slagging customers off. I wasn’t happy hearing it. Very rude . And it’s almost like they want to argue about everything . My friend brad needed extra toilet roll and they wouldn’t give it to him which was awkward too

I recently stopped by Wagon Works JD Wetherspoon for a quick bite, opting for a jacket potato. While the food was tasty, I felt it could have been a tad warmer. Despite this minor hiccup, the experience was pleasant overall. Service was a bit slow in getting our drinks, but considering the time we visited, it was understandable. The staff, however, were exceptionally polite and friendly, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit. Despite witnessing a rare occurrence of someone being banned, the atmosphere remained smooth and didn't disrupt our night as it typically would elsewhere. I am not really a frequent pub visitor but this is good value and good service. Its super busy a lot of the times, especially on a Friday when people kick out of work. The food is cheap pub grub to fill a hole and not something I'd like to eat too often. I was impressed by their choice of wine on offer

Wetherspoons Visited #119 A reasonably large sized Wetherspoons, just opposite of Eastleigh Train Station. So handy for a beer (and food) if passing through on the train. The pub is adorned with images and info relating to the Eastleigh Railway works, hence the name of the pub. Ordered the 3oz Classic Burger and a pint of Stonehenge Old Smokey beer. Total was £6.97. Beer arrived within five minutes of ordering and was in very good condition (as seen in image). Food within the 10 minutes time frame that Wetherspoons aim for. No issues with temperature and quality, when it arrived. Only rated food three stars because I'm not terribly impressed by the 3oz offering. Pre Covid, you could once get a 6oz burger (and drink) for roughly the same price! Pub is worth visiting if in the area.

Best place to eat and drink in Eastleigh. Probably above average for a spoons.

Visited on a weekday at lunchtime. Really quiet but very quick service. Food was piping hot and to be honest, for the price paid, it was very good.

Normal Spoons a few local beers usually served with sparkler and are usually fairly good.Spoons do get a bad rap but this is one of the better ones. Plus a real non fake fire. March 2024 Pop in at least once a twice a month staff very gold much better than in the city

Dropped into the Wagon Works. Ordered a brunch and a pint. Friendly staff, food arrived quickly and was lovely. What more can I say, this place never fails to deliver. Reading the Weatherspoons special edition newsletter which reveals all the lies generated by the media, then demonstrates them eating humble pie by printing retraction. Even some MOs have conjured up lies about Weatherspoons. Disgraceful of them.

Thank you to your door staff who helped my son yesterday when he found himself stuck in Eastleigh with no phone charge and no way of getting home. It was late and dark. He had hopped on the bus as arranged around 7pm, fell asleep, went all the way into Southampton and then all the way back to Eastleigh. The second driver woke him up. He asked at 3 pubs and a shop but no one would help by calling me, until he spoke to a member of your door staff who called us. We really, really appreciate it. Please pass on our thanks.

The price of the beer is virtually ⅓ of what it is elsewhere. The service is friendly and quick. What is not to like? Dreadfully let down though by the need to refurb the toilets and the upholstery.

Decent for a Wethersooons, actually looks and feels like a pub with a soul. Nice ales on, handy for the station.

Burgers are now terrible waffer thin, so easily burnt like a biscuit. Good selection of beer. No pizza available at this spoons. Seats really dirty and sticky probably the worse I've seen in spoons.

This is a pretty standard Wetherspoon but could use some TLC. Old furniture and banged up toilets. We went there shortly after pre-game match fans had left and it was pretty messy/sticky everywhere.

You get what you pay for, it's a spoons. Great place for pre drinks and food before a pub crawl.

The Wagon Works Eastleigh JD Wetherspoon is a beautiful pub, with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. This will forever be my go-to place whenever I want to chill, whether I’m drinking or not this is a great place to go too, the staff make you feel safe and welcome.

Great Wetherspoons pub right opposite the train station 🚉 ideally positioned but strangely not offering an upstairs bar. Large garden for spring and summer but that's only half of our miserable yearly weather. Staff very friendly and work exceptionally hard to keep the bar and seating tidy. Lovely pub.

App service for food really quick, but drinks through the app really slow often come after food. Much better selection of ales these days, just a shame that they are putting the beer through a sparkler and killing the flavour of the beer.

Fast service for both food and drinks despite it being busy. Mixed grill was excellent quality and well plated up. A great local vibe inside. Looking forward to my next visit when back in Eastleigh.

It's a weatherspoons. Food is reasonable, drinks are cheap. It's not going to blow your socks off but it's fairly reliable as to what you get.

Normal spoons as you'd imagine, same Normal acceptable food, atmosphere is brilliant especially in the beer garden. People talking and having a laugh, and the bonus is the toilets are downstairs 👌

When I got to the table I had to clean it myself because the staff can’t seem to do their job. When ordering my breakfast the blonde haired lady was just rude and made me feel uncomfortable, clearly needs to be in a different job where she doesn’t have to deal with customer service as she clearly hates people. The food was nothing special.

A bit down at heel spoons, booth seating stained, tables had food plates on and carpet very worn. App worked well with food and drinks served quickly. Staff friendly. Needs a refurbishment to raise its rating from me.

It's a spoons, not the best but not the worst by a long way. Breckie is a winner there.

Well I was staying next door for work. so it was convenient. On the second night there was an argument between what I assume was a regular and a family. In the end to avoid confrontation the family moved off of a 6 seat table so this bloke could sit there with his pint all night. The family then had to wait for a table as it was busy. Staff knew what was happening but did not try to difuse the situation. I found somewhere else to eat after that second night as I did not feel comfortable going back in. Even though it did not affect me directly. Certainly wouldn't take the family in.

Great place, good food, the breakfast was delicious. The only thing to mention is the tidiness as this was the dirtiest Wetherspoon we been into yet. Small detail but can do a big difference, especially as we checked 4 tables until we find one that was acceptable. 😑

It's a typical Wetherspoons which I visited on on a busy Saturday evening, finding a seat inside as the rear yard was busy with steady drinkers. Service was a little slow, but not too bad considering how busy the pub was. My first choice (the vegan "Beyond burger") was out of stock, which they didn't tell me until I had been waiting for 15 minutes. But the replacement bean burger was OK. As always the side salad was not good value, but the overall cost of the meal (burger, chips, salad and 500ml bottle of Ghost Ship for under a tenner was still good). If you park after 6pm, the local public car park next to Sainsbury's is free. I had breakfast here a few months ago (staying at the adjacent Travelodge) and again, it represents very good value.

When did we just accept that because its a weatherspoons its going to be useless and poor quaility, and we just are ok with this, i love at this one, that they found the time to cook the bacon to a crisp, the 2 eggs i had were both cooked and uncooked on different sides, the sausage was cooked like a small rock. They do however have an abundance of ugly staff,.

Problem accessing the pub as disabled access door bell not working so had to bang on the door and customer let us in No house red wine and staff would nt let me have a glass of other red wine although my meal came with an alcoholic drink so forced to have white wine which I don’t like Food was cold had to send back husbands jacket potato and my burger was only lukewarm Worse meal at a Weatherspoons ever and this used to be such a nice pub when we were here a couple of years ago Very disappointed would nt go back

sat in booth but had to move as not clean read menu carefully not like me .ordered stake and chips for me and wife and thats what we got .no onion rings peas tomato as on picture again read menu carefully this was a little meal for my wifes birthday not again at the wagon cost£8.87 each

We are fans of Wetherspoons but sadly we will never return to The Wagon Works , the place would benefit from a deep clean , your feet stick to the dated carpets and the chairs are stained and even our table was sticky , the steak & Kidney pudding had to be sent back because it was cold and my friend chicken curry was just warm , I know its cheap but there is no excuse for cold food , I hope the chef in aware that uncooked food can make a person ill .

Awful visit today, sat in a booth and proceeded to shuffle across and put my hand in sick all over the booth seat (which had been hidden underneath a menu!) Had to rush upstairs to the toilets to wash off and disinfect.. asked for a free drink for the inconvenience but was sadly declined.. moved seats and ordered food. Food came and was very underwhelmed with it i had the 6oz American cheeseburger which arrived with approx 11 chips. Poor portion size but tasted okay. Friends burger was cold although mine was piping hot. Please work on this I was expecting the full 1640 calories on my plate

What a lovely place to pass some time either in town or passing through. Ideally located for transport links. Train,taxi and Southampton airport. Lovely staff especially Jackie Bilsby.

Absolutely no atmosphere, rude and disrespectful staff and a manager that has got a clue what they are doing.

Used to love this place but what's gone so wrong We came here for our daughter's 19th birthday breakfast as is a thing we do on birthdays 9 of us 4 breakfasts came 20 minutes plus another 4 arrived Then the 9th breakfast apparently wasn't ordered which it was so payed a second time for it Yet still another long wait Needless to say we won't be back

Disappointing. Wine served in glass straight from glass washer, bad foam marks, yet still offered as is, then changed. Wood tables look decrepit & dirty. 3 friends meals. 2 steaks were ok yet both portions of chips were BARELY WARM. 3rd steak was asked as rare, yet very well cooked (edible though), jacket potato was reasonable. Overall, a KITCHEN FAILURE. Lots of staff on site, pleasant enough, yet a vibe of being too casual with everything, lack of professional attitude. Trainees or just an attitude issue ? Positives, garden area was ok. We paid the whole bill, denting their profits would further worsen the service for others. Shocked at the unexpected issues, which are inexcusable. Management got to step up !!

Possibly one of the best burgers I've had, nice chips, pint of beer, £7sometning.Exvellent value. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. Although it was mid afternoon.

Decent breakfast after a morning of go karting, prompt service, staff friendly and helpful. Ordered on the app and was easy and decent.

We waited 45 minutes for food to come. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans - food was not hot so I had to ask for it to be reheated. Hardly any cheese or beans on the potato. Service was poor too. Very disappointing.

Waited nearly 25 minutes , for food . They were more interested in serving bigger groups ,, ie builders coming in , than me . Won’t be coming back

Saturday morning around 10am called in for a breakfast. Ordered through the app and the orange juice turned up straight away. After waitng for around 30 minutes for our meal i went to the bar and asked how long it will be. The barmen said...

So since Mr Weather spoons (who I must say is a absolutely C*****) has pulled the plug on serving dark fruits and replacement it with the dogshit stowford press which may I say will never say and it's blackcurrant cordial with alochol init! How still...

Drank in this pub many time and have to say at the moment they are like a well oiled machine the managers are fun and engaging and the other member like to chat and have a laugh ! All round its a very nice pub...
